The standard of the mans 55 & 58 Chevys is impeccable in my view. Very fortunate.
I am a Ford guy to an extent but when it comes to classic trucks they r all beautiful and amazing. I even recently bought a 65 GMC 4000.
Poor Homer,I like Steve, ❤LoveJim J&R mobile service and God Bless Y'all and your critters
Big Steve is like Family to us.
I just love the old cars and trucks no matter what to make
Us too Kenny. Thank you for being a Channel Member.,
Searching for old truck's & car's is like being in a candy store. I LOVE checking out OLD truck's& car's.
pv12261963 I legit can watch this alllllll day long
I agree. Don't get locked into one make. All American made classic trucks, cars, and motorcycles are worth saving!
Another Great video! Poor Homer! Get him fix up! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I really want a '50's model truck to make a rollback now!!!! Homer has a ton of power, even with a couple issues. Glad to see these trucks pulled out of the weeds and brush for others to enjoy.
Love all old trucks
I like all old trucks and cars
I learned to drive truck in two old 600's one dump truck and one with a flat bed. I could reach the pedals when I was 10 and used to buck hay with my best friend. We would take turns driving and when we were 14 we drove all over the county for the Retired Sheriff and my friends uncle who shared a hay and horse stable business. We always had a half case of Rainier beer between the seats after we left the field and one after stacking in the barn. We hauled more hay in a day that 3 or 4 kids getting towed around on a trailer. Lots of memories good times.
I love that old Ford but I. Like you I love all old trucks and cars
1948 f6 ford great truck , all vintage truck great
That is definitely my favorite Ford truck style.
Right on!
In 1978 I was a mechanic's apprentice at Mack Trucks. That was the start of my love for trucks. Worked with some really great, smart guys who taught me a lot. It was like working in a mechanical encyclopedia. Love your channel.
It looked like the dust devils in the background were dancing with joy to see the GMC finally going to a loving home. I bet that Ford sounds fantastic with the flathead V8 blowing through stacks...
I prefer the old Chevy's myself, but all old trucks are cool. thanks fer sharing.
Well Jeff is an expert on pull behind graders
As far as trucks go I'm a Ford guy, like GMC/Chevy, Dodge,Reo, Diamond T. International, Studebaker. They are all worth saving. Grew up with the 55,56,57 Chevy cars, loved them then and still do You guys Keep On Keeping On. Thanks for making me 10 years old again, even if only for a few minutes
Give HOMER an LS Engine. He deserves it.❤
Yes he does....or a Diesel.
@@ClassicTruckRescue Gas LS 8.3
I like any thing classic, ford,chevy, dodge,studabaker,vw,hand made,if it has an engine, and wheels,ski s wings,or floats,I like.!!!!!
Me too David. GMC Trucks are my favorite, but I like all old trucks.....Jamie and I love old trinkets too.
I'm a ford guy but I like them ol heavy duty gmc trucks they just have a unique look to them nice find on the ol ford it's in good shape
Love the ford truck with the stacks. The fact that it has a flathead V8 makes it very cool. Just owning that engine, weather it runs or not is a cool piece of automotive history. That's the engine that revolutionized automotive technology back in the day.
Thanks to share with us.+
You bet!
I was born in 1952. I can remember when my grandfather bought a new 1957 Chevrolet 1/2 ton step side. My brother and I helped him rebuild the engine. I drove it until 1973. Your videos have special meaning for me. I dream about owning one again.
What a fantastic episode ! Great trucks , great equipment , great people ! Awesome !
I am a Ford man. But I have owned Chevy's also. I agree I like old American vehicles.
I live in the uk but love old american trucks so thanks for the channel it makes my day. I was a mechanic for over 25 years but now I take care of my disabled wife but miss working on vehicles every day!!
all classic trucks are good stop hating people
I have a ford dodge and a chevy. They all are loved.
Nice!
Okay, this is CTR when it's best. Im over the moon, about meeting Bob for the first time! That 3-0-2 is real good truck/hot rod material, and bulletproof!
Sad to see homer in the state, looking forward to seeing him brought back. But a re-gear (rear end swap), and keep the migty mouse with a SM465 in it, or a Cummins 12 and a NV4500.The NV4500 came in some Chevys, and also comes in a SAE bell version that fit the Cummins. Make them swap-ready 😜Love the F6 and Flathead too.
i agree a 454 and a sm465 are a great combination. i like the sm465
These big trucks are sweet to haul your hot rod or classic on, nothing like an aluminum roll back to bring up the value of big truck
I totally agree!
You know, I always liked Chevies, but as you said, I don't like getting locked into one brand. Especially these days, because all this old elderly iron has survived this long...I like the forgotten makes, Studebaker, Desoto, American Motors.. These old trucks are all cool, all makes and need to be brought back....
That Ford needs to be restored being that it's in good shape.
I love all old trucks
So true mate you have to appreciate all the old classic trucks great job
Stop everything and fix Homer!! He's earned it!!
Right
Another awesome rescue !!! How about the Ford !!!!!! Great to see yall again lol like the old Manuel hand grader as well !!!! Awesome old equipment !!!!

Good old Homer made it all the way back to the CTR. Was worried. Looking forward to some technical videos of Homer’s repairs and possible new engine. May the Truck Gods continue to smile down on old trusty Homer.
Hey I hope you guy's are all right.
I see there is some bad fires up there. May God be with you and protect you from this. God bless you.
Rick..Buffalo Springfield...."for What it's Worth"..what a fantastic song by a supergroup..before there was super groups..rock on..gotta love these old references and ol' trucks!!

God bless that couple, very nice. I had a 58 Chevy Biscayne before I could drive sold it for the engine to a body shop. My mom's dad had a 58 Chevy Impala or Biscayne that I did my first brake job on with my instructor and grandpa.
Another one saved from rust. TFS
'evenin, Rick & Jamie; 'Ole-B0B will fit in very nicely. Hoping things work in yer favor for the F-6. Poor 'ole Homer's Gonna git a new lease soon ? Great ending to another Top-Notch Video, Thanks 4 this Friends. Saty Well & Safe ! ATB Terry God Bless

rick you need to get on of those roller compacter for you roads at the ranch. don't listen to the haters just let it go in one ear and out the other.
Good advice...Thank you Roy and Thanks Fer Watchin'...-Rick
Another great truck rescued. That was a pretty nice for F6 also. Man I could just fall asleep listening to that 55 for hours. My kind of tranquil music.
That's my dream truck
you are so right, I does not matter what kind of truck it is, it needs to be saved, come on guys, it is old , but it has a history too
good video and your absolutely right about the brand thing if it's old save em
Personally I like all the old trucks as well Chevy Dodge Ford it doesn't really matter.
As long as it's something old with character I like it.
Sweeeeeeet!! 1957 Chevy Bel-Air & 1958 Impala Great Paint JOBS! Rick here my home town Qualicum Beach B.C. there's a 1958 Chevrolet Impala 2 door Black on black black inter. & it's original Paint to i think it was again at are 2016 father's day car show.w
Homer DESERVES a overhaul Mr. Rick! Ms. Jamie I am like you I shed a tear when I seen Homer's rear was smoking up and hearing that rod knock. PLEASE fix Homer and bring him back to the task force you have.
Right old truck's and car's what ever the make are cool. Nice 55 chevy the 58 was not bad cool car's
that old 50s ford beside those steam rollers is a very nice truck.
Homer was rattling and smoking, but still he's running and completing the job. It doesn't get better than that! I trust he'll be fixed, so no worries.
great find another good truck
like the f600 too
Poor Homer he has earn his keep take care of him
Mopar fan but like at all I love the fact that you save GMC because it’s different
On that 50 Ford.....Id be interested in that cab & front clip!
It's Classic Truck Rescue. Does that really seem like a truck that should be parted-out to you? I know everyone thinks the larger trucks make good donors for pickup builds.....but Really? That ain't a truck that should be parted-out. Thanks fer Watchin'. -Rick
I honestly believe , When you want some thing so much in your life . It will and does come your way . so think big ! and reap your rewards Rick . Ray in Pa.
I am definitely a Chevy guy, But any old American steel is worth saving. I have a couple of friends that are Ford guys. We give each other a hard time some times, but it's all in fun. Chevy, Ford or dodge. If you take care of them that they will last.
Them old rollers and graders you guys checked out just looked like giant Tonka Trucks!
I will say again, wish I had this many 50s trucks floating around NE Tennessee.
Thank you for letting us hear the 55 Chevy it was great.
Rick i like your videos. I like old vehicles but ilove 53 Gmc5 window 3100 i drove one 15years i sure miss. Can you find me one
My phone number 940 347 0260
good ol heavy equiment is hard to come by unless u know the right guy and the right field. Nice F600. Ya oughta get that road plow though lol Duel is one of my fav movies.. and they restored the truck.
Any beautiful old truck is worth saving.
Good old soldier, that one didn't stop till the mission was complete. Rick will get him all fixed up.
I love any kind of old truck any make any model it doesn't matter old trucks have a lot of character compared to the new trucks today. I am glad you are out there actively saving them. Two thumbs up!
I agree with you 100% on saying it's just crazy to be locked in to just one make. Life is too short to be that closed minded. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to cars,it doesn't matter who made it or where it was made. If I like the car,and can afford to buy and rebuild it. I'll buy it.
That yellow cab to the right of your subject is what's left of a Mack RD.
Like that you look and get the different truck makes to save them. Keep it up.
Absolutely a classic video ...Thanks for Doin It . Peace Out !
Don't listen to haters bro. And may I say your better half Is hot and great personality ❤️👍🏼🇺🇸
Just saw the last half of the video and it warrants a second post! Nice car collection that Gentleman has and I think a big block(plus brakes!) would be perfect for poor old Homer.
Really gorgeous truck for hot rod, rat rod, restore whatever.
We agree!
Great find Rick. That Homer is one work horse. I love them old tow trucks. Thanks for the videos.
RicK...lol..loved the sharp eye catch on the "Duel" tanker..and yes..it surely looks like the beast that bellowed as it rolled off the cliff....did you know that was Spielberg's first movie direction? anyways....great video..loved the old Ford too...Peace..Rich
love these videos. Thanks guys.
That was cool how you noticed the tanker and made the connection with the movie "Duel" starring Dennis Weaver. I don't know why but I loved that movie. Ol Dennis driving that 4 door Valiant. I guess that's before they out lawed road rage. LoL
You loved it because you were rooting for the underdog, like me. Thanks Fer Watchin'. -Rick
I'm gonna have a good day now!...Thanks Rick!
I never realized how big Homer's wheels are, a modern wrecker would be packing a wheel maybe about the size of that rim. The ride-along on the way home was really cool too, I hope he's going to be okay.
love the classic ford truck with stacks! make me a great work truck!!
I 100 % agree with you there Rick ..I like fords, but i also like the old chevs and dodges .they have style. vehicles now days are blah .👍
