Going into the week without a plan leaves room for unnecessary stress and worry. We also stress the commitment to dedicating at least 15 minutes a day outside of practice to work on the specific skills that contribute to your performance. This dedicated time helps create a supportive mental environment, beyond just team practices.
    Visualization becomes a powerful tool, and we recommend practicing it around your targeted skills at least five times per week. By visualizing success, you prepare your mind for optimal performance and reduce uncertainty. Additionally, taking the time to understand the environment you're entering enhances your preparedness and prevents unnecessary surprises.
    We discuss the importance of incorporating breathing exercises to calm nerves before performances. It's essential to establish a routine that helps you relax and focus. Moreover, we emphasize the significance of identifying the right support network before performances. Knowing who to seek guidance from and who to avoid will help maintain a positive mindset.
    Lastly, we highlight the need to shift the focus from merely measuring results to evaluating your work and effort. By understanding that you have control over your actions and effort, you can free yourself from the pressure of immediate outcomes.
