Hey there. Im waiting on a white Zonda with stock electronics. Which batteries have you been using? I think i’ve asked you once before but can’t seem to find the post.
Thx
Chris
@@glastron98 Nice..I use 5000-6000mah 65c or higher. I like the Revectrix from OSE.
Thanks. I will give them another go. I believe that things will go better this time. Thanks Mr Mad.
Super belle coque zonda j adore
Arw we ever gonnaa get to see a video of you running this beast ,m
Yes eventually I'll get back to it.
I'm not sure how I missed this vid bro but Congrats on the CF beauty! Can't wait to see what you do with her! So many options and this boats seems like it can handle much beefier electronics options for sure! One of the greatest cat hulls ever made! TFL makes great boats in general! I'm loving mine and hope to join the 100mph club here soon! Great overview of the rescue system too! I have something similar with my Aero Trooper air boat. Blast on bro!😎👊
Thanks Bro. Hopefully this one will be in the water at some point. Very busy now days but it'll get there sooner or later.
Das boata and OSE are both at the top end of the rc boat game, can’t wait to see what you all come up with. Love the rescue boat set up. I have been looking at mounting a rudder facing up so when boat flips upside down you can still steer it like air boat
Yes those guys are great. Big numbers are the plan for his one. Yea that'd be a good idea on the rudder to guide it in. A lot of times you loose radio reception when antenna goes under water though.
Congratulations. I'm glad that Banggood has respect for you. When I ordered my carbon fiber Zonda Hull and Hardware they ripped me off by shipping me an ARTR fiberglass boat, then they asked me to keep it instead of correcting my order. So from that day whenever I want an RC boat, I go to an RC boat company.
Still love your videos. Been watching your runs for a while now. I don't care about politics, I enjoy the hobby and your videos are awesome. Be safe and family.
Thanks
I wish you'd get into the Zelos 48G my friend!😉
The new version is better than the old version for sure.
@@MrMad2424 what has been updated? I definitely wouldn't mind purchasing another. I've went through and replaced almost everything on this v1 zelos 48G. I've repositioned the stuffing tube, changed enging out for a gizmo 30+ full mod engine bonzi clutch and a matching ABC prop. Not sure if Mr. Dasbota custom grinds props for these. The lake where I am hasn't been glass lately or cooperating to get some speed numbers, but love your vids..very inspiring! I've bought the miss geico based on your vids. Also had to pick up the old yellow zelos 36.
The original Zelos 36 is my favorite machine. The UL-19 is a good one too. Got it up to 59 mph today and thats the fastest I have ever pushed it without flipping. Took some delicate weight distribution but, I think I got all I can out of it stock.
Different motor in the new version.
Have you thought about putting oxendine Marine gear in it?
no if i wanted those electronics then id use hobbywing same thing but half the cost.
Let's have a total blast run with this Zonda ....
Cheers
Thanks Pedro!
Might as well get the ARTR for that price seems like. Looking to do a build through TFL NA, can’t decide between a dual rudder or quad under hull pickups
I've been looking at the dual 300 esc rtr Zonda or the Mamba Ariane on TFL. Nice rigs
The version that OSE sells is pretty close in price after you figure in the extras needed.
@@portcityrc I won’t ever go fast enough to utilize the 300s, 2x8s (or 2x12s?) would be something to see!
Did anything every come of this build? Nice hull.
It's not ready yet.
@@MrMad2424 cool. Looking forward to seeing it completed. Going to be your own build speed records
Man that thing looks sweet. Man I need me another boat. Carbon fiber is the way to go.
Thanks! Yes this one is very nice.

You know it! 😎
Aww hell yeah. Time to drop what I'm doing and tune in for some awesome shit as usual, haha. I gotta get a Zonda asap. I would LOVE to see a giant 56mm single in there.
Thanks man! 56mm would be a beast for sure.
if i can ever afford this boat im getting it dream rc 100%
It's a very nice boat for sure.
👍
Thanks !
@@MrMad2424 I could barely get my 4092 motors in with the water jacket, a 56can will be crazy tight. Id like to see
@@naveda08 The 56mm would be a single mounted in between the sponsons, no clearance issues at all.
@@MrMad2424 single drive full size Zonda?! 🤔 interesting I thought of doing something like that to a mini zonda carbon
@@naveda08 There have been single TFL genesis and fightercats well over 100mph. Heck 5-6 yr ago. I'm more fond of a twin setup though
🤗🤗😉💪👍👍🤙
thx bro!
Will you be running the dual 300 esc setup?
I'll probably run Seaking 180's like the RTR version OSE sells has in it. The ZTW 200amp is not out of the question either. Not sure yet.
Did your Other Zonda come Ready to rig? I was considering getting one but, im not sure I have the technical know how to drill and buy hardware that will fit. Especially the motor mounts and the shaft carriers. Probably handle the ESC and battery mount but when busting out the drill to knock holes in a 600 hull would freak me out! The Zonda is sexy machine but intimidating.
The fiberglass versions come ARTR from banggood. Only add a radio and servo for fully RTR. OSE can sell you a fully RTR version of either.
Is the hull still as thin as previous carbonZondas? I fixed some chips/cracks in my friends zonda. Uppon further inspection i noticed that the intire hull was full of micro cracks. I suspect that it at some point has had an identitycrisess and taken flight.
This hull is very thick to be carbon. Kind of surprised me how thick it was. Not any flaws that couldn't be expected a little imperfection at the transom seam but still very good. No micro cracks found on this one.
@@MrMad2424 cool👌🏼😀 looking forward to future videos on this one😎
Thanks!
Would love to hear where you can get hardware for this project. I have shafts and props from dasBoata, but cannot seem to find rudder pins and the bullet shaped prop locks from the end of the shaft. Thanks for sharing rescue setup - what is the boat you use to push that btw?
The bullet shaped prop nuts are a waste. Use Zuber nuts from OSE because you will loose your expensive prop with the bullet nuts. Also OSE has the dual pickup rudder for this boat so I'm sure you can get the pin if you order that rudder. Also my rescue boat is a AquaCraft Atlantic II Tug which has been discontinued. You can search ebay for one. Here is a link to OSE website for parts. www.offshoreelectrics.com
@@MrMad2424 Really appreciate the reply - have ordered the Zuber as, yes, have lost a prop using the standard bullet nuts. Really enjoy your videos, and my Zonda!
@@davideyers8352 No problem.
Your a 100mph plus kinda guy📬🏁I don't think a single motor set up is up to the task.im thinking twin tp power 4060 and a couple seaking 180's...sshhhyyyttt...120mph+😎🇺🇸. good luck✌
Thanks Bro! Appreciate that.
Why does just the hull cost 4 dollars less than the same boat with ESC, motors, etc everything already installed? lmao makes 0 sense.
It's not the same boat this one is carbon fiber and the other one is fiberglass.
