Good stuff. I've had the 9350 for nearly two years and after some initial quality problems it has settled down into a great laptop. No coil whine on mine, thank goodness!

"Cat for scale. Not included with laptop." Haha awesome!
On a serious note though, thank you thank you thank you for actually showing LR being used on this laptop!! I swear this is literally the only video I've come across that shows it being used! With that in mind, how does the most recent version of LR CC run? It's supposed to be less laggy.

Hello, just saw your review. A very nice machine, even by today's standards. I got the lesser 9360 about the same time as you. The i5, 7200u, with 8GB RAM and 256 SSD. I just took it out of the drawer, and man, I really never used it much. It has held up really well these years(well-built). The battery still very strong. If I trade it in, about $45 USD. Will keep it around.
So, anyway, wanted to applaud you on the older review, and I bet you have moved on to greener pastures.

I need to buy a new computer this week after my last laptop broke again. Had it (Fujitsu) for over 3 years! There is a new HP model released here in Thailand last week. It has 14" screen, i7 processor, metal case, lighted KB, 1 TB hdd, 8 Gb ram with 2 open unused slots, AND... TWO USB 3.0 ports! All for 24000 THB =-O
I mostly only use lightroom, premier, ableton live, and ms office.

Hello. I am planning to buy a laptop. I was thinking of Dell XPS 13 9360 model. But I did a bit of research, I found that, this laptop gets hot quickly. I will use mainly my laptop in website coding, a bit of writing, web surfing and watching video. The only big applications will be Android Studio and Photoshop. And I use to work putting my laptop on my lap.So I want a laptop with minimal heating issue. Should I go for Dell or I will buy MacBook air?

While updating wehn I first got it, the fans started getting a bit loud every once in awhile, but then quieted down quickly and that's the only time this computers been loud at all. I was surprised when picking it up afterwards that it did not seem hot at all
