I hadn’t actually heard Jensen sing before this. It came up in my recommendations and I was DEEP in the groove of the music and then he sang that first line and I literally punched my pillow. He has SUCH an amazing voice!?! Like, I was invested in the song then he sang that first line and I was like “excuse you???? ExCUSE YOU???”
Not gonna lie, I've seen a lot of videos of him singing at many events and he's ok, but he's not great. But they fix all that on albums.

And as he gets more experience, he’ll only get better- I remember when he started singing in public, he was so nervous. One of the earliest songs I heard him sing was Wild Mountain Thyme, and you can tell there’s a lot of talent there.

Jensen Ackles singing “Whipping Post” and “Brother” is an almost spiritual experience for me. He is an absolutely incredible vocalist in my opinion.

I always thought it was hilarious that up until this past season, Supernatural has always portrayed Dean as being unable to carry a tune if his life depended on it, when Jensen Ackles himself is a fantastic singer 😂
I always had the headcanon that Dean was a fantastic singer but hid it due to self consciousness. And it didn’t fit his facade.

I remembered hearing this song in the trailer and thinking "huh, which classic rock band played this one?" as Supernatural always use classic rock songs in the past (and made lots of fans like them in the process) like Kansas, Survivor, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi etc. Can't believe it was actually Jensen Ackles' new band 😱 The melodies are superb though. When I heard the intro I thought it was Scorpions' or AC/DC's 😂

He purposefully sang badly as Dean because he thought Dean would be a bad singer (also, he used to be really shy about singing, so that's probably another reason he purposefully sang badly). Although, there is a karaoke scene in S15 where Dean sings, and it's amazing.
He was only bad when he had the Mark of Cain. When he sang in Baby it was always good.

The album is glorious. Feel like it's really meant to be heard in the car - how it felt driving around meandering California backroads, ranchlands and national parks to this baby, through golden evening light and darkening clouds and snow, just cruising on two-lane blacktop, I can't really describe. Satisfying af. Perfect roadtrip album, just leave it on repeat and step on the gas. now not to be greedy, but now that you've blessed us with an album, what the world needs next is a live tour, and don't just do the US circuit either 😀 Berlin will be waiting for the magic. 🙏

He’s really just gotten progressively better and better over the years, and this song is the prime example of that. He’s always been a naturally gifted singer, but his knowledge of how to use that gift has increased tremendously. Jensen is such a talented human being, and he truly deserves so much more recognition. I’d love to see him get big movies, shows, and for his music to be on the radio and winning awards. He truly just deserves the world💗

Jensen, you don't know me and i might never meet you, but i wanted to say that Supernatural, the SPN family, and this beautiful music you and Steve create have been a lifeline for me. When my partner introduced me to SPN, i didn't think much of it; just a dumb longass show about two brothers who hunt monsters. But it's become an incredibly huge part of my life, and the both the show and the SPN family have given me validation, support, and happiness during some tough times. Thank you to you, Jared, Misha, Alex, and the rest of the amazing cast for being so awesome and caring with your fans. I think what’s nice about Jensen’s singing is that he has a passion for it & a talent but for years kept it hidden. Even when people discovered he could sing, play guitar etc he still said that no he was foremost an actor & wouldn’t be going down the path of becoming a singer. But entertaining fans at conventions boosted his confidence, friends like Jason Mann’s & Steve Carlson have nurtured him to where he’s finally stepped out to showcase what he can do. Some nasty social media trolls even commented about using him using his music in Season 15 with Sounds of Someday which is a favourite of mine which I play endlessly in the car. But the fact that they go by Radio Company & don’t promote the music as Jensen Ackles shows this is about passion & not money.
This is the true rendition of ‘Rock Music’ and of classical music there can be! You are of true sound. Jen, your vocals and tone alone are of the truest of instrumentation to the balance and harmony. I'd LOVE to see some originals with big name features in them. These guys need to blow up (given Jensen is famous already but he should seriously go after a full-time music career)
