    Those were my robots Fluorine at 6:00 and Chloride at 14:41. I have already taken steps to stop my battery from ejecting itself when it gets too stressed. Also in the Chloride match, after Phantom Cyclone got stuck on the wall, I did a victory spin which caused a wheel to fall off. Thanks for the fun fights and congrats on winning the antweight championship!

      Hey can you tell me if the antweight and bettleweight championships are sign ups or not, I mean where do you go to join and enter the championships? Is it online sign ups at a specific date?

      Glad you enjoyed this! If you are interested in building your own, you may want to check out: www.etsy.com/listing/753628264/combat-robot-battlebot-starter-kit?ref=shop_home_active_32&frs=1&sca=1 It includes the electronics and parts required to build a 1 pound combat robot, and does not include a frame, so you can build it however you want!

      @@3DPowerPrints Wow, thanks! I will definitely check this out. I spend most of my spare time building Lego battlebots that weigh almost two pounds. Where do you compete, would I be able to attend?

      @@3DPowerPrints Thanks! Do you have a list of rules I can look at?

    • @3DPowerPrints
      @3DPowerPrints  Před 2 lety

      Each tournament usually varies slightly, though the generic really basic rules are: be in the correct weight, use an electronics system which failsafes (like the link I sent), and make sure your bot can easily be turned off (by a switch or link or battery unplug), and if you have a weapon, make sure to have a weapon “lock” to make sure it can’t spin when you are not using it. Also, the link I sent, is for a wedgebot (no weapon), which I would recommend to start with, because weapons can be a tough thing to get a handle on at first, especially your first time.

    Just to clarify: these were 1 pound bots, right?
    It's so confusing that Antweight means a different thing in the US vs the rest of the world

    • @3DPowerPrints
      @3DPowerPrints  Před 2 lety +2

      Correct, these are US antweights, meaning they weigh 1lb

    1lb?

  • @HOGE_FINANCE
    @HOGE_FINANCE Před rokem +1

    What did you mean by making your spinner go half speed to get more bite?

    • @3DPowerPrints
      @3DPowerPrints  Před rokem

      The slower the blade spins (still very fast), the longer time the robot has to move towards the other bot giving it a bigger "bite" because the robot hits farther in on the blade, opposed to just nicking it.

    Hey do you or would you provide the templates that you send to cut for laser cut and what material it is, to build your vertical spinner

    • @3DPowerPrints
      @3DPowerPrints  Před 3 lety +1

      While I do not provide my exact designs, you can make your designs in softwares such as solidworks or Autocad, then import it into sendcutsend.com/ Additionally, I believe SendCutSend now has a parts builder, which allows you to make designs on their website. Some great materials to take a look at when building a combat robot is titanium, Ar500, aluminum, UHMW, or Polycarbonate. Hope this helps!
