I've been studying and teaching Eschatology for over 20 years. Pastor Greg Laurie's teaching is sound and has a scriptural basis. I've this video is 8 years old and is true today, that's how you can identify accuracy in prophecy.

Dont agree, hes just repeating word for word what weve all heard for years and couldve prepared his sermon in 5 minutes having read any end times book written in the last 20 years. Absolutely nothing new in it and surely only relevant to those completely new to prophecy.
You have absolutely right. I'm an SDA and when I was on an SDA forum of Revelation I tried to explain Exe. 37, 38, 39, Joel, Zech., and more and how it fits into Revelation and they ran me off as one that was leading the flock astray. They believe that all the text about Israel now applies to the church. However, I can't find that text in the bible anywhere.
THE UNITED STATES IN PROPHECY
It's no surprise that the greatest nation on earth should be mentioned in prophecy. What John sees portends events shaping up in the United States that most definitely will affect you!
Watch closely now as the scene unfolds. "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon." Revelation 13:11. A "beast" in prophecy represents a "kingdom." Daniel 7:23.
When a beast comes up out of the "sea," it is represented in prophecy as rising amid many "peoples and multitudes," {a highly populated area}
Revelation 17:15. To come out of the "earth" is just the opposite. So here we have a nation that is springing up out of a wilderness area. Instead of overthrowing vast and well-trained armies from the dense populations of the old world, this nation would be an area "discovered." In the eyes of the "known world," it would be new territory. Differing from the often blood-soaked nations of Europe, it would spring up quietly, peacefully, "like a lamb."
Can you guess what nation of the "new world" arose into power, giving promise of strength and greatness that would fit this description?
THE UNITED STATES.
It sprang up like a plant from the ground. A prominent author from a hundred years ago, speaks of "the mystery of her coming forth from vacancy," and adds, "like a silent seed we grew into an empire."2 The pilgrims and settlers met up with the Indian tribes, but compared to the crowded cities and millions of the old world, America was a wilderness.
"And he had two horns like a lamb."
The lamb-like horns indicate youth, gentleness, and represent civil and religious freedom. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution reflect these noble views. Because of these very principles, our nation became great. The oppressed and persecuted from all lands have looked to the U.S. with hope.³
But the beast with the lamb-like horns "spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men." Revelation 13:11-13.
Incredible! Keep your eyes open. As the drama unfolds, you will see miracles of a most amazing nature! ..."Saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live." Revelation 13:14. Can you imagine the U.S. doing anything like that?! How could it possibly happen?
Watch closely!
The lamb-like horns and then the dragon voice present a change of personality. A real change! The speaking of this country as a "dragon" denotes the use of force. This principle, as we shall see, was used by the leopard-like beast (the first beast) of Revelation 13, which enforced religious observances by law! Such action by the U.S. government would be directly contrary to its grand principles of religious freedom. The Constitution provides that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
I live the way he breaks it down and makes it easier for me to decode things happening in this life and prove it in the bible.

And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations and scatter them throughout the countries.’
The answer to your question lies in christianity my friend . And being a christian itself . You see its not that simple specially the bible . Its very complexed ! Hence id even say its the most powerful book ever created and partly thats why its the number 1 most selling book. Christianity is a walk with christ - a way of life as well. The more you know him the more he unravels things to you and the more you understand his word . Trust me its hard and rewarding at the same time . But just to give you something . The bible is not a an ordinary book . And its not read from left to right . But it is a compilation of other books .
So if Jesus tells us in Mat.24 “when you see the abomination of desolation”......flee, how can you say that the church is taken out before the tribulation?..
Those who are left behind and realize they should have accepted Christ, are the ones who are to flee, since they are now believers and have to survive the Tribulation.

David Lackey The rapture and the "day of the Lord" are the same day. Read Luke 17. Do yourself a favor and use a KJV, otherwise you probably won't get it. Read about the rapture in 1 Thes 4, but keep reading into ch 5, because Paul refers to the rapture as "the day of the Lord/Christ". 2 Thes 2 tells us not to be deceived, as that the day of Christ is "at hand", and goes on to tell you that it shall not come until............ Mathew 24 says "after the tribulation of those days" then describes the day of the Lord, and the rapture. Mark 13, and Luke 21 are parallel passages.
The day of the Lord (rapture) happens in the midst of the week. The tribulation is in the first half of Daniel's 70th week. See Daniel 9 ad 12. The day of the Lord is the beginning of God's wrath. Prior to that, it was just natural occurrences. The seals are tribulation. The trumpets and vials are wrath, and probably happen concurrently, as you can see that they are very similar.
The rapture is denoted by Jesus "coming" in the clouds, and with clouds, to "gather His elect". The dead in Christ shall rise first, and then them that are alive and remain.
The elect/Christians are referred to as the saints in the book of Revelation, so don't let people confuse you by saying "the church" isn't there. It is nonsense.
You can find the rapture in Rev ch 6, 7 and 14. The great multitude that shows up in heaven in ch 7 is the rapture. The reaping of the earth/harvest is the rapture in ch 14. You will notice that the reaping of the tares/winepress is after the reaping of the wheat/harvest in ch 14. God's wrath begins "the same day" as He begins to pour out his wrath.
Look up the parable of the wheat and tares. That is speaking of the rapture and God's wrath. The tares are gathered to be burned prior to reaping the harvest, but they are not burned until after the rapture.
Using a KJV, do a word search for "day of the Lord". The day of the Lord so commeth as a thief in the night, but not to those who are watching.
The book of Revelation can be split into two halves. Chapter 1 is an introduction, mentioning the coming of Christ. Chapters 2 and 3 are letters to real churches. and the rest of the chapters up through 11 are conclusive. Then chapter 12 begins again with the birth of Christ, and goes all the way through 22 in chronological order. The two halves of Revelation have different focus' and details, but cover the same time periods.

Bible prophecy dealt with real places and people around the time of the end of the Old Covenant and the announcement of the new covenant, e.g. Romans, Syrians, Libyans, Greeks, Macedonians, Persians etc. I don't think it's consistent with the Bible to add in a future America.

How can you have a regathering of Israel with just one tribe? That’s where you all are totally off. God said all of Israel would be regathered not just the tribe of Judah.
They were not even called Jews until 1 Kings when the southern kingdom of Judah was at war with "Israel". The southern kingdom was made up of Judah, Benjamites, and some of the Levites. The ten tribes of the northern kingdom were scattered and never recovered. They became a mixed people known as the Samaritans, which was after the capitol city of the northern kingdom.
The physical Jews of Jesus' day were also scattered, never to recover. The people in Israel today are eastern European converts to Judaism, also known as Ashkenazi Jews, which is not an OT religion.
These Jews trace their lineage through the maternal line, rather than the paternal. Genetically speaking, they are no more the physical children of Abraham than anyone else.
There is no "regathering" of Israel other than the rapture. The spiritual nation of Israel will be caught up to be with Him in the air. This is a physical resurrection of all believers, and of all times. "the dead in Christ shall rise first", then "those who are alive and remain".
Mathew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
The kingdom of God was taken from the physical nation, and given to a spiritual nation, which was made up of all families of the earth.
Promise to Abraham
Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Promise to Jacob
Gen 28:4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
Gen 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
The promises were to believers in Christ, not to the physical nation. We are the children of Abraham, and being children, are heirs through Christ.
God's Israel is made up of Jews.
Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
The Jews of physical Israel today are not God's people.
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

God clearly stated in the Torah that they would not remain in the land if they did not keep His covenant. This does not say "their full inclusion". "Fullness" is the same as "completion" or "perfection". The ones who are not blinded are made full, or complete, but only through Christ. God does not force people to believe.

The promise of "everlasting" possession of the land was not to seeds as of many. The Jews were kicked out multiple times, and finally in 70AD. The land and all of the promises were to Christ and those who are in Christ. The liar Jews who reside their now are not in Christ, therefor they do not have the Father, nor do they have any part in the kingdom of God, which is an heavenly nation.

The thing is, everybody reads the prophecy and interprets it differently. Nobody knows when. If you are assigning already occurred events to prophecy, then you know when, but that’s history. Isaiah gave prophecy concerning Cyrus of Persia, but even he didn’t know when. When is the rapture? When is the tribulation? Jesus predicted wars and rumors of war. That is vague at best. I can predict that.
