    Here are some quick and effective stretching exercises that you can do after your workout to practice your splits! You can do this stretch in the morning, at night, or after your workouts as a cooldown and recovery stretch!
    Stretching after your workout is very important in order to avoid injuries and to recover your muscles! Doing this stretching routine after your workouts will significantly get you to your splits faster! Consistency and dedication is the most important to see real flexibility results.

    I have a question, is this video supposed to stretch your muscles to be able to do spilts or is it that we should first know how to do spilts and this is just some stretching cause I am a not able to do splits. Hope you answer it.

      For me it was stretches to make a slip comfortable and to make a split way more comfortable because my left leg hurts when I do that

      Lucky u, am still struggling!! Waking up with m hamstrings tight as shit until I do a bunch of stretches . I hate but I love it. See u y’all wen I get there.

      Did you do it 2 times a day? how flexible where you when you just started and up until now I just wanna know and are you able to do normal stretching without leg bending 😅

      @@itsoktaee Tbh I actually tried Anna Mcnulty’s split challenge and gave up after I couldn’t get them in two weeks. Then I realized I needed a shorter routine and one I could memorize and commit to. This one is truly amazing with quick results.

    I've been doing this for a week, and it has shown results. At the beginning of the week, I was about a foot from touching the ground on my splits now I am about 3 inches from touching the ground. (Will keep you updated for when I'm able to reach my full split.)
    Omg I'm so sorry I forgot to update, Yess I have reached my split, but I still continue to do the routine because I don't want to lose flexibility which I hear is really common if you stop stretching.

    I was having severe leg muscle pain. Almost two days and a lot of stretching, nothing was working. I did this stretch routine, and my pain has significantly reduced! Thank you

    I'm going to do this every day 2 times for 7 days, I'll update each day!
    Day1:
    I did it once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. The morning was kind of hard, since I've never done the splits and I'm not super flexible. I did notice the stretched didn't hurt like other videos!
    Day 2: I noticed It seemed helpful to just stretch better in the morning when I'm relaxed, so I took five deep breaths before and after each session.
    I didn't see much progress, but towards the end of the day, I felt it got slightly easier, and I may have gone down a little bit farther than before!
    Day 3: I didn't do it twice, so it didn't feel like much progress, but it definitely feels nice to stretch!
    Day 4: I didn't do it, I was too busy.
    Day 5: I felt so much closer to the ground, maybe 6 inches at the nost, and I started at about 1 foot from the ground
    Day 6:
    Felt about the same as yesterday, the hamstring stretch was way easier on the right leg!
    Day7:
    Did see much progress, but trying my best!

    doing this everyday except fridays n saturdays until i can get a split:
    day 1: i definitely saw improvement from my first "split" which was WAY off the ground. the first days are the hardest, but i'll try and keep going.
    day 2 (saturday skipped): didn't see much progress, but since it's the 2nd day it's natural.
    day "3": i skipped this day because it was halloween and i was out all night 😭
    day 4: same as day 2, im more used to the stretches though!
    day 5: ive almost memorized the stretching pattern!!!! now to just be consistent
    day 6: felt way harder today for some reason
    day 7: god it hurt a lil but we gotta keep going
    day 8: its been putting strain on my kness because i cant afford a yoga mat💀 but same as day 2
    day 9: SUPER SORE because i did dance practice before😭
    my tryouts are from tues-friday!! ill update you everyday when it happends
    I GOT INTO THE DANCE TEAM! AND MY SPLITS ARE REALLY CLOSE, about an inch to the ground?
    it's been like.. A WHILE. but i have my splits down period and i got my middle,, sooo

    day 1: it hurts a lot & im no where near close but after stretching i feel refreshed

    Awesome and simple routine! I’m a truck driver and I’ll be doing this 3 times a week! Really helps that I can progress on this movements while currently being quit unflexible and showed me which isometric stretches that I need to work on more. My right hip flexor tight as hell!

    I never stretch constantly so I'll try commenting and maybe it will give me motivation
    [1] July 15 ✅️ my right split is worse than left
    [2] July 16 ✅️ im like 2 palms away from the ground
    [3] July 17 ❌️ I was too distracted the whole evening so I forgot to stretch😭 I will stretch twice tomorrow for exchange.
    [4] July 18 ❌️ same thing happened as yesterday...
    [5] July 19 ✅️ finally didn't skip!!! My right leg is not so stretchy but doing the left split is fun :) I may try a longer stretching routine tomorrow for the days I skipped, since I should have time all day.
    [6] July 20 ❌️ I had to skip today because I got my period🥲
    [7] July 21 ✅️ I just stretched and it's 3:30pm so I was very stiff since i havent moved today at all. Worse than any other days, but it's okay!
    [8] July 22 ✅️ I dont know why but some stretches feel more uncomfortable than usual
    [9] July 23 ✅️ Wow my left side stretches felt good! Still working on my right side

      ​​​@@jasmin7072honestly since I havent measured I'm not sure. I still havent reached my split and I think itll take another month, at least, for me to get it. But this has definitely made leg stretching a little more comfortable and easier! Though I must say, yesterday I felt sooo good trying to do the split and it felt like I have a chance of reaching it some day soon :D

    After two months of being stuck on the couch due to a broken bone I totally lost my splits on the injured side, but this simple routine has helped me get them back!     Doing this to see if i can do the splits!! (Day 1) its my first day so didnt see much change (day 2) same as day 1 (Day 3) stretches became easier (Day 4) Didnt had time today (day 5) was much closer to the ground!!

    Day 1: It was okay, i did the stretches pretty well, the splits took some time but im gonna keep on practicing. :D (btw i didnt get the splits today lolz)
    Day 2:Got better, wasnt easy to do splits..
    Day 3: So sore..
    Day 4: Normal! I feel real better and even thougu im not even close to the splits, i got a feeling ill get it!

    finally putting some effort into my splits again!!
    day 1 (wed) definitely felt that in my legs and i really have to get used to doing splits again but i'm really motivated!!
    day 2 (thu) did it in the morning and i felt so much discomfort!!
    day 3 (thu) been very busy so day 3 came later than expected but it felt pretty good! did it in between my study sessions to unwind and regain focus. took a few deep breaths and im really feeling progress!

    Okay today is Sunday and I did this video for the first time. I’m gonna update every Sunday.
    Week 0: I’m not inflexible, but I have never been able to do the splits. The stretch was nice but hard because I’m like 30 cm from the ground with my good leg 😅
    Week 1: Did it 5/7 days, once a day. I got more flexible and especially feel more room in my hips. I feel like this is a really effective stretch! Gonna keep goingggggg

    After I did these stretches I also tried doing a middle split and from there I did the forward splits and it helped a lot for me

    Doing this everyday till I get my splits!
    I’ll update everytime I finish
    Day 1: easy and almost there ( about 2-3 inches of the ground)
    Day 2: a bit harder and didn’t improve yet
    Day 3: I saw the tinniest bit of improvement and losing hope
    Day 4: I can do the splits on a bed with a little pain
    Day 5: no progress same as day 4
    Day 6: feeling tight no progress but the grab foot stretches are way easier now
    Day 7: little progress but I don’t think this routine is for everyone bc a few years ago I did a different stretch routine which I don’t remember and I got my splits in two days but with this one I’ve improved but I don’t think I’ll reach my goal with this ❤

    I'm gonna try this for 30 days!
    This is my experience (I started at May 5):
    May 5: It was very painful.😂 My split was above the ground about 6.5 inches
    May 6: Its was painful, but not as painful as the first day. Still 6.5 above the ground
    May 7: I feel very motivated to stretch! My split lowered to 6.3 inches. Not much but hey! It's an improvement.
    May 8: I skipped this day to stretch cause I was busy
    May 9: It was getting easier to stretch. Split at 6.2 inches off the ground.
    May 10: My split became 6.0 inches off the ground 🎉. So far, my legs did not suffer any sore or cramps 😅

    THIS WAS GOOD ROUTINE!!!!! I'm just few centimeters before i could touch the ground. This is so far the most effective routine for splits for me. The others only give me pain the next day 😩 but this one i can do it in just one try ❤️ thank u so much!

      @@avalittlenightmares i was actually doing other stretches when i found this video. I made it in the first try but not totally touching the floor on the other leg (i can do it in other leg in the first try). I did it everyday for a week and I can do it inthe other leg now, though it was harder unlike the other side (probably because of my scoliosis).

    Got my side split in about three months still not to happy with my pelvis not touching the ground but I am still at it but back to every day training again and not I am working on my frontal splits with your other 7 minute video so far it is kicking my butt so did this video at first but with time I memorized it and achieved my goal thank you so much for your videos ❤

    idk if anyone will even see this but ive been doing this for about a week and a half and i already see improvement in my flexibility, i can almost touch my toes now and before i could barely even make it past my knees

    I've always wanted to be able to do the splits but even when i did gymnastics as a kid i never quite got there. I'm gonna try and do this once a day for as long as i can to see if i can finally get there!
    like to remind me to update plss :))))
    Starting: My split is like a foot of the ground
    Day 1- ✅ burned doing it but it felt good at the same time
    Day 2- ✅ I felt less motivated today but i did it and i think it hurt a bit less?
    Day 3- ✅ Did it maybe my splits a little closer to the ground? thats probably wishful thinking tho
    Day 4- ❌ Didn't have enough time
    Day 5- ✅ Did it!
    Day 6- ❌ My house is undergoing renovation and it my house was a bit chaotic so I didn't do it.
    Day 7- ✅ Done.

    I'm gonna do this to see if i can complete it in one week. I have done the splits before in 5 days so let's see if this one works. Sadly i can't do the left splits because of my injury but i can be able to do the right splits. Note that I'm doing this only once a day.
    Day 1: ✅
    Kinda hard because I'm doing it after a long time.
    Day 2: ✅
    Was easier than yesterday, I'm now 4 inches off the floor for my right splits.
    Day 3: ✅
    I'm now ig 3 inches off the floor! For my right splits
    Day 4: ✅
    A lot easier. I think I'm less than 3 inches off the floor (right splits)
    Day 5: ❎
    Day 6: ✅
    I'm now at 2 inches!!!

    I’ve been prepping for gymnastics because I want to learn. So I’ve been looking for stretches to help me loosen up and prepare me. And I’m really glad I found I this! I was almost immediately closer to doing a full split after practicing this. I’m gonna do it every day until I can do the splits! And I’ll keep doing it even after to keep in the practice. >:]

    I’m going to do this every day and document my progress! I’ve already done day 1 and day 2 at the time of posting this and I’ll see when I get my splits!

    Wasn’t the easiest but wasn’t the hardest either.
    Week 1: ✅
    Small and kinda unnoticable progress. However, I will continue to stretch!

    Good video. Gives me the motivation to do the poses I don’t like doing but are much needed. The foot grabs just hits the sore spots from the front hip flexor to the glute on the same side, that really needed to be stretched out. Thank you 🙏🏼

    When i was a kid, i was able to do the 2 types of splits. Unfortunately im not able to do it anymore so im going to ues this video to test my flexibility again, and i hope it works!!

    Since I stopped doing gymnastics and ballet once quarantine started and next year I will sign up for gymnastics class but I wanna be in advance. Also I was born REALLY flexible.
    Day 1: i did this +with another flexible leg workout AND I GOT MY LEFT SPLIT ALREADY!
    Day 2: I did this with another flexible leg workout and I got my right split!
    Day 3: Its improving A LOT!
    Day 4: didn’t do bc i was soo tired
    Day 5:Same thing its improving
    Day 6: Didnt do today
    Day 7: 85% improved
    Day 8: same thing as day 7

    It took over 3 months (wasn’t consistent) but I’m going to still do the stretches











    I had competition, flew all the way to a comp in LA from my gymnastics base in the UK. Luckily I won in my age division for and I got the perfect score . The minis in my team as a group got top scoring . 2 trophies won!!! My friend unfortunately came 5th in her s

    I’ve been doing your 10 min split stretch for 6 weeks or so my left is in so much pain 😢😢
    I transition to this oneee
    I really love the low lunge grab food
    I have like few centimeters from doing my left side spilt not on my right. 😢

    starting today. i don’t workout or stretch at all. which is why i’m starting this challenge to get myself used to stretching & working out again, so starting this challenge, i feel a lot of pain stretching. i’m going to take my time because i don’t want to rip anything obviously 😂. i’ll update every couple weeks if anyone cares to know how it’s going :)

    Day 1 - I cannot do the splits so it was sooo painful.
    Day 2 - Im about 3-2 inches away from the split on my right, definitely gonna be persistent.
    Day 3 - This ones a bit delayed but about 1-2 inches away from the ground on my right and 3-3.5 inches away from the ground on my left.
    Day 4 - A pillow was underneath me and I touched it when doing the splits on my right. When I do the splits on my left it hurts so bad so I’m still the same as yesterday with my left.

    Today I started, I’ve always wanted to do the splits so why not learn how ya know!!
    Starting stats
    -feels very hard
    -split left 1 foot off ground (yikes lol)
    -split right 1 foot off ground (also yikes)
    Remind me to update please!!
    Day five!! I’m getting closer but it’s still tough, anyone have any more suggestions? Also im around 10 inches off the ground so progress
    Day nine, but I was on vacation so I missed a few days, still making slow progress!
    Day 11 (I think) WOW!! My right split is so close!
    Two weeks!!! Right splits are like three inches away! So so proud of myself and next update will be when I get my splits
    Three weeks! Almostttt not fully there yet though, I did take a couple days off
    Wow one month already! I had a big setback though, so my hips haven’t been squared so my splits are actually closer to 5 inches off
