Is it that expensive in points to get guys with some health? TB is fielding a really nasty team and I can't see what Joe has that I would call even. On the plus side, they both make me feel better about my own XCOM play.
Joe did have an even team, but he was playing poorly, grouping his men, and not taking appropriate cover when the possibility arose for later. And this map really sucks as a human team, but the teams were even.

Joe - when you're targeting rockets, the blue sphere is where the rocket will go - so even if it says shot blocked, you can still hit things with it. That's what happened with your first rocket, for example.
He actually quoted or paraphrased Doctro Thrax multiple times. "Wood is only a temporary barrier" - it's with metal in reference to tanks in ZH, but similar. "Sit back and relax, give my toxins more time to work" "Take your medicine" - TB is clearly Zero Hour fan :)

TB certainly gets the voice right I must say, the only thing missing is the cackle and cough at the end. :P Although he has plenty of cackle time during the actual fight. He puts out consistently great videos, which I admire in the man.
They can leap up buildings to easily gain high ground advantages. They are essentially an inexpensive scout/sniper unit. The poison is nice for finishing off units with less than 3 hp, but the true utility of poison spit is that it also inflicts aim and mobility debuffs.
TB shows a total lack of game knowledge by stating that cyberdisks can't be in cover, while ignoring the fact that they have a persistent low cover bonus honestly this was just painful to watch, joe taking 40 seconds to take the most obvious move, TB not knowing how flight mode works despite having played SP.
Actually, i believe Einstein said once that the faster you move the slower time goes by, so technically the faster you're going, the more time you have.
Joe couldn't move longer because he was poison. That's not actually a bug. Poison reduces accuracy, reduces move range and does damage. It's a crazy ability.

Tiny tip for people playing multiplayer; give order -> tab(switch unit) -> give order -> etc works wonders as you don't have to wait for their running animations before switching squadmember/squidmember ;)
You're correct, but if he is traveling at light speed, then he either has a mass of 0, or an infinite amount of energy. If I remember correctly, the reason that time slows down is because light (c) is the fastest thing in the universe, and so things not going at c tend to be slower, including time since time is also relative. Theoretically speaking, if you somehow went faster than c you could even go into the past because time would then be negative.
Sadly never played the original XCOM, but my first encounter with the Cyberdisk was nevertheless awesome: *Sees it for the first time* "Cool, a mini-UFO!" *Cyberdisk transforms into attack mode* "HOLY SH*T OO !"

Disabling Shot has saved my ass time to time. If someone's caught flanked, hit the enemy flanking you and that guy suddenly is a lot less deadly since he has to waste his turn reloading.

Actually if you look closely, The stripes are spaced out slightly, so they aren't connected and have a blue color in between them.
