Look even if you don’t like this movie, this scene is amazing at establishing our two main characters and how different they are from each other.
Different yet alike. They do the exact same things, just in different ways. Plus, the colors even swap after they receive their calls.

@@DanielAppleton-lr9eq take f&f 1-2-3 good story about race car drivers with a motto personality and soul. As the series got further it became less and less about the plot. And there appeared guns as a main story plot. And tbh after the rock came in the story went down a lot real quick.... (Having said that, the bank heist movies was badass as hell and the best one in my opinion but they should have stopped then and there!!) But that was already happening in 4 tbh. But after Paul passed away it went completely mental. Now there is no story. Just a generic bad guy with very predictable motives and there for predictable actions he would do to hurt "the family". They just kept going bigger and bigger with less and less in it. One of the last ones they went too the fucking moon. But don't ask me who the name of the villain was. Or what they wanted... That's a good example of modern movies imo. It all just turned in something you put one for a hour and a half too not think anymore.

I love alternate universes where guns don’t exist and it’s just really cool fighting

It’s an interesting subtle detail that Hobbs is reading a book about philosophy while he’s eating breakfast, showing that his character is not supposed to be just a dumb meathead
