Alright, I’ll bite! You’ve got a preorder!
That is so awesome. We can’t wait to make one for you! Thank you! ✨
I'd love one, but I unfortunately, I will never have THAT much money. The product is brilliant though, hope it reaches far and gets into the hands of the right people. It sounds soo beautiful. I just wanna sit in a cottage and drink tea and listen to these guitar tunes. So warm and lovely.
Thank you so much!! 🥰
The baritone tuning with rubber bridge song was beautiful
Oh thanks so much!
This may be the single best advertisement I have ever seen. Naming the tunings was a great touch.
Wow, thank you so much!!! Nicest thing to say!
the song playing in the background at the beggining of the video is just amazing
also great work with the guitar
So nice of you!! Thanks!!
Those conversions are so clever. What a brilliant idea.
I was impressed with the snap on baritone conversion, then the rubber vs wood conversion is almost equally impressive.
Lots of very interesting ideas being explored here.
Glad you find it interesting, thanks for taking the time to write us! Very nice of you.
You've created a need that could see me returning full time employment.
Haha great comment!
@@MoodGuitars no, thank you. Now I know my true love exists. Hopefully someday either your prices will drop ludicrously low or my income starts to include a significant fun fund.
Until then I'll continue to bully my little OM Fender classical to live on the C# edge.
You guys write the prettiest stuff on these guitars. I would buy an album in a heartbeat
Thank you!!! That’s so nice!!
What a masterpiece! Great video to go with it!
Thank you so much!! We appreciate your kind words!
This is super cool. Well done! I love the sounds you’re able to achieve with this guitar.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
I love all the little features you've packed into this! It's beautiful, brilliant, and versatile. Amazing!
Wow, thanks so much for such nice words! You’re awesome!
I've only just seen this You Tube video. I'm hugely impressed with this lovely all-Mahogany Parlor guitar, with such tonal variety and diversity, for use in different contexts. So much thought has gone into this, in terms of construction, pickup design, swappable bridge saddles, a greater convexity of the top, ladder bracing, etc. This is the guitar I've been longing for all my life. As soon as I have enough money, I hope to order one for myself.
What a kind and thoughtful comment, thank you so much! We spent six months planning and designing this guitar and two months building it, so thousands of hours of thought and consideration has gone into it. We tried to make every single detail as perfect as we could make it for the sound and look we wanted. So thank you so much for noticing! We would love to make you one!
Great concept! I love the sounds!
Thanks for the kind words!
Beautiful in both sound and appearance! Super cool
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen!
I can only dream 🤭. That is a BEAUTIFUL creation! Congrats to you guys.
I’m in the process of converting one of my Gretch Jim Dandy’s into a rubber bridge with a pickup - it’s going to have to do for me I’m afraid.
All the very best. It should go gangbusters in the market.
Such a nice compliment, thank you for your kind words! Those Jim Dandy’s are awesome and perfect to convert to a rubber bridge, I hope the process goes well and you enjoy the sound! They are such fun guitars to play on. Thanks again!
This is a truly wonderful and unique new approach to building tone. Excited! Congrats :D
Thanks for saying that! We have so much fun playing it and can’t wait to share it with more people.
@@MoodGuitars I bet it's tonsss of fun haha. As for me, as a juxtaposition, I currently build tones on my Lag Hyvibe; which is an incredible guitar too, just way different lol 😅😅
That’s awesome, I bet that sounds so cool!
Love the creativity and style!
Thank you!!!
All the playing in this demo was outstanding. Beautiful and unique. Nice guitar too. 🐝🐝🐝
Okay, you’re awesome. Thanks for being so generous!!
Very cool! But $4200 😢 for me… not saying it’s not worth it y’all put a lot of hard work into this!
We understand! They are each handmade by my Dad and I (Kris). Everything from selecting the wood to building the pickups is all done in-house. Sure we can’t compete with the prices of larger operations but who else is making something like this? 😉
@@MoodGuitarsCool guitar and sounds. It's nice to hear all the different Moods in a guitar with character. Being able to also set it up as a Baritone was a smart move, and I hope it has the engineering necessary to handle the much higher string tension.
Regarding the price, perhaps in the future you'll be able ramp up production or do a Licencing Agreement that will allow more guitarists get their hands on an instrument that inspires. Good luck, and thanks!
Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment. The baritone tuning does indeed hold up as we designed it to have really sturdy construction - we have been testing it and putting it through the ringer for months now and it has been performing like a champ! Thanks for listening!
@@MoodGuitarsabsolutely!! So very cool 😊
I thought it was just a rubber bridge guitar at first. But really you get a ton of guitars in one instead entirely converting a guitar to one thing. This is so sick and definitely worth an investment. I'll admit that $2500-$3000 is a lot more enticing, but I can see why with all the ingenious tech and how much it cost to develop why this might be so
What a beautiful looking and sounding guitar! Congrats! I wish I could justify buying one and hope you are wildly successful!
Thanks so much for your kind words!!
Dang, that's really cool!
Thanks so much for listening!
Cool concept and it looks beautiful
Thank you!! 🙏🏽
Definitely wanna check this out
We would love you to, thank you so much!
Beautiful sound and beautiful playing. Guitar has the mahogany esthetic of my old Martin NY.
So nice, that’s a high compliment to be mentioned in the same realm as vintage Martins. Thank you!
Really interesting concept and excellent demo! Makes me want to make some similar mods to my Taylor GS Mini!
Thank you!!
Wow!! The visuals were so moody in the beginning, had to turn up the brightness on my phone 😎.
Liked the tones of the vintage & single coil settings.
Awesome, thanks for the feedback!
Beautiful sounds and look
Hope yall are making these when I have the money to buy one, literally a dream guitar
Of course, we’ll be here!
AMAZING!
This is so nice, will save up and buy this one day
What a nice thing to say, thank you!
Same!
This sounds amazing
Thanks so much for listening!! ✨
That baritone and rubber tone is amazing! The combination standard/baritone final riff 8:05 is so good! Great idea and I wish you all luck!
Thanks so much!!!
This looks perfectly perfect to me
Thanks ☺️
Love it!
Thank you!
I'm not a guitarist IRL...but I clicked on this link because I compose music digitally and thought this was a new vst/sample library.
What beautiful sounds and beautifully designed! Well done...I've shared it with the guitarists I know.
(Now I wish it was digitally sampled and for sale as a virtual playable sample library. If you ever want royalty payments on that sound, I'm sure there's a deal to be made with any of the existing sample library companies out there.)
Oh that’s so nice of you, that would be really cool to design as a VST. Maybe one day! Thanks for checking us out!
This guitar looks very exciting and seems like it solves alot of the problems I've always struggled wrestled with when choosing a guitar.
1) How to get multiple tones out of an acoustic guitar, including baritone and regular tuning
2) How to get pickup tones out of an acoustic guitar
3) How to get the string spacing I am accustomed to with an acoustic guitar but the feature set of an electric
I am very excited! Alas, I don't foresee a new guitar in my near future, but this is going on my watch list.
What a great list! That’s so cool we created something you are looking for - we were wanting similar things when we came up the design. It makes it such a fun guitar to have around because of its versatility. We would love to build you one whenever you wish! Thanks for your comment!
The team that designed this understands what mood is. Give me 50 of these.
You’re great. Thank you!
Great sound! I hope that someday there will be a Kontakt version of this guitar.
Wow!
Nice!
Tickle me interested 🤔 that sounded so good.
Thanks so much!!
Genuinely such a wonderful instrument. Your father and yourself should feel immense pride in what you've created, and consequently what you'll have inspired by creating something like this. Although Im in no means able to grab one at the moment, I will be securing one of these in the future when able. Absolutely wonderful!
So nice of you to write to us, we are very proud of what we have created too and it’s the most special thing to have people create beautiful music on our instrument. 🤍
Back in years i tuned baryton with heavy gauge, put a capo that way for standard tuning and put a splitable humbucker on my dreadnought.
I never tried rubber band bridge but i made an adjustable sitar saddle on a guitare (normal sound or buzz sound, it worked well on the smallest strings)
💡
It will be great to build a bridge saddle where you can choose between rubber, normal, buzz, and mixt the rubber sound for bass strings and the buzz sound for smallest strings (choose the number of strings with these FX: 4-2, 3,3 2,4)
I'm gonna think about it and try if i could
Awesome, thanks for your feedback!
Waiting on the Chase Bliss Mood collab 👀👀
We’re down for it! ✨
Oh i need this for my hum solos wooooo that is butter
🥰✨🌙
Saving up!!
Can’t wait to build you one!
Beautiful, just , awesome all over
Thank you 😊✨🌙
Not much people are aware but these rubber bridges would be great for bachata style guitar playing and the humbucker in the soundhole just made it 100% possible!!
It's the perfect looking guitar, to me! BEAUTIFUL.
Thanks, so nice of you!!
You're on my radar .......
😊✨
This is such a versatile acoustic, and has incredibly immaculate vibes. Ya'll hit it on the head with this, I hope to get it one day! :D
So cool of you to say, we would love for you to get one when you can!
@@MoodGuitars
This is what my old Harmony turtle back sounded like with flat wound jazz strings on it.
I think that guitar is the only one I need, has a huge versatility
We definitely find ourselves naturally grabbing only this guitar now for everything ✨
It’s a heck of a thing!
Thank you, we certainly think so too!
The funny thing is… Guitarista are so funny. They probably rather have four guitars and split these functions between them that they have one in Guitar that can make all of these different sounds, and have all of these different applications. I think of someway in which guitarist identify each guitar with a certain Theo and function, and sound and mojo. If you recall music man came out with that game changer guitar pick up switching system that gave you 209 sounds… Not sure how well that did.
Let’s not to take anything away from what you have accomplished here. It’s really wonderfully and thoroughly thought through and beautifully produced. So I’m not commenting on that. I’m commenting on the wacky psychology of guitar players.
Having said that, I wish you best of luck. I hope that people fine and discover this unique instrument and make some beautiful music with it.
I thought this thing was 3k, thats super affordable, pretty and great sounding! Bravo!
looks and sounds amazing
I wanna build guitars with my Dad too...
That’s so nice! It really is special and we don’t take it for granted. ✨
Sounds really interesting - might try
We would love you to try it out!
Saw this and thought it was only $600 and about made the quickest gear purchase in my life. The sounds you are getting out of this are fantastic, looks great too.
Thanks so much!
Stunning 🎧😌
Thanks for listening!!
@@MoodGuitars I love any innovation on the coolest instrument in the world 🤘
wow 😮
Unique!
Thank you!!
Thanks for demoing it in fingerstyle. . I rarely use a pick (for moodiness’s sake 😂) so it’s good to hear the tone of fingers and a lot of other companies forget to show that. .
You’re welcome! That’s our primary way of playing too 😊
So cool! You guys saw the hole in the market and hopped in. Been a hip sound for a while, hope you guys sell tons. At the price of a used toyota camry, I can't afford it right now so I'll wait for the behringer knockoff to drop in a few months.
Thanks for the well wishes!
This is so nuts wow I wish I was a CZcamsr so could review one of these oh man that’s so crazy 😮
So cool of you to say, thank you!
Sounds so wonderful and great playing. I love the ideas here and wish I could afford one.
I wish you all the best, and hope that you can grow enough to make these wonderful instruments more accessible to us poor musicians.
🙏
Thank you for your nice words and all the best to you!!
Very cool ❤
Thank you! ☺️
Song is amazing! You should release the song!!
Aww thanks so much! We just might!
@@MoodGuitars Sorry what are the string gauge or company used for the baritone settings? cause I use 12-54 but yours seem much thicker!
I WANT IT
cool. got my baton rouge cheapo acoustic setup that way with an ugly diy mounting solution for a minhumbucker for years. great concetp guys!
Wow cool, thanks for the compliments!
fuck i need this RIGHT NOW
so when will there be a Dylann Taylor instrumental guitar album?? loving these tunes
Ahhh, maybe soon! Thank you!!
off topic but love the saturation on the drums
Totally on topic for us, thank you!
Was so ready to order but then remembered the conversion rate from USD to Canadian dollars 😅. One day hopefully!!! Sounds so awesome.
Thank you! We would love to make you one!!
Awesome work on the video and the creation of the guitar!!! Can you send one to Rhett shull to review?
Thanks so much! That’s a great idea, we’ll see if we can make it happen ☺️✨
The fact this is only $600 is actually insane. It sounds amazing and looks great too.
That is actually our deposit amount so we can get the build going - we make every guitar to order to each person’s specifications. We do offer payment plans too to help with the cost. But thank you so much for the nice compliment!
love this! what kind of amp can I use with this guitar? an acoustic guitar amp or an electric?
Thank you 🙏 The amps in this video are tube guitar amps, but it also sounds great on solid state amps. It would sound pretty close to its DI signal on an acoustic amp which is one of the most common ways that the rubber bridge guitars are recorded. The tone controls on the guitar give you a lot of wiggle room with getting a good sound on a lot of different amps.
I want this…
i think im in love...
you know what would push me to preorder stage? Hearing it with some fuzz. (Thank you in advance if you do this)
Your wish is our command!
I want this beauty 😍
🤍✨
I’m usually oddity averse but this is pretty cool…:) I wonder if you could laser scribe the top for the bridge positions rather than using masking tape?
We’ve thought about that and are considering it to make it even more foolproof. Thanks for the feedback!
Hey Santa put this on the list
But does it DJENT?!
Sure, if you want it to! 😆
@@MoodGuitars SOLD! 🐱
Parlor shape, dark and muted tones, ancient strings.. Who are you, who are do wise in the ways of mood, and where have you been all my life?!
Haha, great comment!
Very cool! What effects or pedals do you use in conjunction with the tonal properties of the rubber bridge?
Thank you! We typically use the Strymon Flint, the King Tone Minifuzz, and the Catalinbread Adineko. We used all three of those for various parts in this video.
Interesting. It sounded more like overdrive, do you run the King Tone Fuzz on a lower fuzz setting?
Your playing is inspiring!
We did have the volume rolled off a little, so it wasn’t as powerful as it could have been. There’s so many settings on that pedal too where you can dial in a more subtle fuzz. Thank you so much!
Great job! Pity I can't order this to my place
We do ship internationally! Feel free to email us with any questions to dylann@moodguitars.com
@@MoodGuitars the problem is I live in Russia
Feel free to send us an email at dylann@moodguitars.com and we can see what we can do for you!
@@MoodGuitars thank you! You're great and I wish you to keep making such a beautiful products!
Interesting to combine Retro style with modern sounds. A physical approach instead of DSP.
That’s what we were going for - it’s still cool to combine it with pedals and processing in your DAW to push it even further. Thanks!
Get Julian lage to try one and I’m sold
Deal! 🤝
Nonono hes gonna make this too popular, we prob couldnt get the thing after
I hope one day i get to buy one of these they sound and look amazing. Might be in some years hahahahaa.
Thank you! We would love you to have one!
How did you record this? The recording is insanely warm and full.
Thank you for your nice words! We recorded most of the sounds through two different small tube amps with a Royer ribbon mic or an SM57.
@@MoodGuitars I'm curious what tube amps you use in conjunction with this guitar setup!
We like single-ended amps, so we used a Kalamazoo model 2 and one we made that is similar to a vintage Fender champ, but with a larger cabinet (this is the one that all of the back-to-back comparisons are played through).
Oooofff look at that beefy rubber saddle!
06:32 Almost thought the narrator's voice was starting so sing a song, as the speech is so in tune with the background guitar hahaha
Haha maybe next time!
Very cool guitar. What’s the warranty on it? The FAQ link at the bottom of the website doesn’t seem to lead to the correct place
Thanks for your question! We just fixed it, so you can now find our warranty on our FAQs page if you scroll to the bottom of our site. ✨
@@MoodGuitars Thanks! Put a deposit down earlier today!
You are awesome, thank you so much!!
Is it possible to get a left handed one?
Yes, absolutely. We make all of our guitars for lefty players too. ✨
Use one of these occasionally, have over 60 years of playing/experimenting , didn't cost anything just a piece of foam. badeep
Awesome!
Try a tennis racket dampener, they are also cheap and sound really cool.
whohooo 😘
where have you been my whole life (or ever since rubber bridges started taking over)

That switch in the hole is the only thing that I would change...I would prefere another knob.
The other things are awesome.
We’re considering that also for future designs. Thanks for the feedback!
I want to hug the creators of this brilliant machine. So many tones and inspirations in one instrument-it’s a dream I never thought I could have.
That’s just so nice of you!! *virtual hug*
Wait..... with this guitar I'll be able to change tunings without consulting a guitar tech? All for $4500? Wow. What a bargain. Where can we see a video tour of the workshop where you hand craft these guitars? We want to see bare wood to noisy box documentation.
Thank you so much! We will be showing behind-the-scenes videos of our process and shop soon!
lol best comment so far
If only I wasn't poor, a modular guitar is something I've been waiting my whole life to see done properly!
So nice of you, we hope we can build you one sometime!
