Semmelweis University: Tradition and innovation

Semmelweis University is Hungary's oldest medical school in continous operation. Its history goes back to nearly 250 years ago. Today Semmelweis University has six faculties and holds a unique position in Hungary's medical higher education. Its three main areas of operation are education, research and health care; the unity of these makes it an international center of knowledge.
