bro im trans and this actually brought me to tears, i’m so glad our community is getting more representation
For real, I was in shock reading the popups for the first time

Awwww this is so sweet! I’m happy to see more trans and queer sims!
Love how they just came out and said the word trans. It's been due for a while. San Fran is a LGBT culture center so I'm glad they committed!
Celeste to me is so important for rep bc they really didn't make being trans her main feature in the promos (although ig you could read that as avoiding censors?) which feels right. Having a binary trans mother as one of the focus parents in a family pack is just so awesome.
I honestly thought they were only going to imply identities for the entirety of the game (at least until Sim 4). Such a nice surprise for me, but to your point long overdue
This is so cool, thank you for digging this up! I love that they included a couple who were already married when one of them came out and transitioned. Doli's settings are unfortunate, though I guess they may have been going for her being into a more masculine gender presentation rather than just men.
Wait so if he (Christopher) was with Celeste before she came out, wouldn't that make him canonically bisexual??
Yes! Or pansexual depending on how he wants to identify. I think since it doesn't specify and, in the end, he's a sim (lol), we could use either.
Yes, his orientation is set to interested in woohoo with men and women

Omg Yesssss ✨I absolutely loved that they made their stories canon without it being problematic. As a nonbinary person, huge stamp of approval. You did a great job of breaking this down, hopefully more gender neutral terms are introduced soon 🥰
This is so beautiful honestly. But I wish they would update the game with more gender neutral language/options and pronouns actually working in the game.
this is such an amazing addition and while the sims isn't perfect in their representation, the blatant representation instead of dancing around it and ~hinting~ is a great step forward. i never would have known celeste was trans without these videos so i will be sure to include this family in my gameplays always 🥰
Fact all this lock behind paywall when this should been feature in base game
I don't know how this is the first video I've seen address this, this is HUGE!
This is so wholesome and I love it
This immediately made me tear up. I'm so glad to see them be explicitly mentioned as trans instead of it just being left up to the gender settings in cas
I have a mod and the michaelson son became a teenager and came out as a transgender so I helped him become a her
Celeste Michaelson she’s a very beautiful Sim but she is actually very kind to other Sims witch surprisingly very good 👍🏼
This is very cool I love it! 😊❤
im crying and you’re crying 😭💜💜💜
I'm in tears😭💜
So excited about this
This is so cool!
If i play sims, how to know people gender ? My sim, male, tried marry Ash Harjo. I dont know that Ash Harjo cant pregnant. But when I dating her, i dont know the info.
I don't know of any way to check this aside from having them in your household or using a mod. But the custom fertility options aren't very common in sims so I don't think you'll come across it very often aside from with Ash, Celeste, and Morgyn Ember. I'd recommend you use the "science baby" function on the phone for them to have a baby if you wanted their baby to look like them. Or you can change Ash's settings in create a sim to become pregnant if you were looking to tell a pregnancy story.
💗💗💗💗
i dont see how jay’s partner only being attracted to “men” is a bad thing, i always see people saying that a lesbian = any non-male whos attracted strictly to other non-men so wouldnt a straight women be the same? a women who’s attracted to anyone who isnt a women, which includes non binary folks regardless of their gender at birth or gender expression 🤔 or does being attracted to non binary people automatically make u bi by definition since she’s technically attracted to two genders (male and genderqueer)
That would be neptunic lesbian! I’m pretty sure that’s what Jays partner is!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh :)
I truly love your content! I really liked your video regarding Judith Ward potentially being trans. Honestly, I want to make her trans in my game ❤.
Doli didn't even know Celeste in game tho. L Sims team.
🤦♂️
When you transition so hard that your best friend doesn't recognize you anymore /j
@@TycoCurious hahaha I was thinking the same thing 🤣
transracial sims incoming
No
Never
i knda hate how they made her body look so masculine
No, they didn't... ANYONE realized that Celeste was trans until they saw it in CAS... Because all women have all types of bodys
😐
@@mattdanielgomez8097 lmao ok but they always make trans women look masculine, Dana Adler for example
I understand that representation is important but there isn't any for trans women who pass in this game and it makes EA look like transphobes imo
Btw I'm not going to lie I suspected she's trans since the trailer came out
I didn't know that!🫢
This made me so happy to see 🥲 im not a big sims 4 player, but the fact that they included explicit trans identities in a family expansion is just fantastic. Really nice seeing it being normalized in this kind of a setting.
