My baby’s birth gave me trauma 😂😂
I had an amazing pregnancy, was active until the day I gave birth. Hit the gym, did pilates, yoga and swimming. However, I had cardiac arrest while goving birth, had to go for C section.
Ooops it was hard thing.
Glad, I had my mom in law supporting me during postpartum and my husband helping me around.

Just gave birth to my daughter last Thursday. Between nursing, lack of sleep, trying to make sure she’s eating enough, trying to remember to eat and drink water myself so I don’t pass out… oh my… I’m tired
I'm 4 days in and I breastfeed and I don't think she getting enough
@mancityfan873 I'm not trying to tell you to stop breastfeeding, but if it ever becomes problematic, or if you're not producing enough at some point, there's no shame or harm in formula. Just saying, I wish you luck either way.

I remember being allowed to go home, my thoughts were “I’ll miss having nurses at my beckon call should I need them, but I won’t miss the 30 minute check ins from them” 😂 I loved my nurses and I know their jobs were to make sure baby and I were doing well but those check ins….woooooof haha

When I brought my new little home I just needed rest and pain meds.
It was tough caring for a newborn every half hour while feeling pain from a c section.
I was truly exhausted.
I hope i feel nothing but happiness postpartum because this pregnancy has been a sad one so far 😅

I'm so thankful my neighbor who had 2 small kids came to me in my first month after having my kid to check on me. She had an inkling I may have had post partum and thankfully got me to a Dr and sure enough I did. So grateful for her.

My daugther turned 11 and I remember the baby blues I had with her. Not crying but just kinda not connecting right away and feeling so alone. Took about 3 weeks for me to be at ease?

it took me seeveral weeks to connect with my 1st but I connected with my 2nd right away! its crazy how our minds work

A week postpartum. Why did no one warn me I would cry just looking at her because im so happy, but breakdown crying from sadness that i didnt take enough pictures of my bekly dueing pregnancy😭😂 and the anxiety. Oh my god, it's been absolutely unbearable at times. Habing to froce myself to eat ans remember to drink water and care for myself too. Then we have 4 dogs and 2 cats who are doing well but I feel so much guilt for not being able to pay more attention to them. I feel like each day is slowing getting better. Getting some quality naps in has helped tremendously, so hoping its "baby blues" and not true PPA/PPD
I was in labor for 17 hours , then went to the shared bedroom after birth and losing a lot of blood, then I was 24h without sleep and everything hurt, my legs were weak, all my muscles hurt.
I cried a lot. I almost dropped my baby cause I slept while breastfeeding and I called the nurse and she took him and I slept four hours.
I never felt so overwhelmed and hopeless despite having such a precious and very wanted son.

I’m the mom who cries constantly lol the hormone changes are really hard on me, I also have PMDD so idk if that’s why to.
I wish my face looked like that postpartum. I was always so puffy at the end 😢
I was too, the reason being is because of the fluids being pumped and our bodies hold more fluid so it takes time for it all to go back to normal
I'm 7months pregnant, doing all the prep and research I can, knowing full well that when they place that little meat bundle in my arms and tell me to keep it alive I will just panic and internally scream for 3 hours 😂

Once the baby is delivered, are you allowed to request that you know everything that happens with your child? I only ask because when my siblings and i were born we were all taken to different rooms
