Just a few miles south of the popular tourist destination of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, you will find a slower, quieter - but still lots of fun! - vacation spot called Murrell's Inlet. When you want a break from the hustle and bustle of the Myrtle Beach crowds, go check out this beautiful coastal area. We hit some of the highlights in this video: Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach State Park, and the Marshwalk. Learn about the couple that founded both Brookgreen and Huntington Beach - and about their history in the area. Then learn about why Murrell's Inlet is considered the seafood capital of South Carolina. Join us as we see gardens, sculptures, animals - even a castle!

Love all the nature shots. The alligator and otter were cool, too. We have only been to the Wicked at Myrtle Beqchfor drinks, but it's nice to see the food and hear your feedback. Our favorite restaurant in Murrells Inlet is Hot Fish Club. They have a really good Mahi with crab meat dish that is the highlight of my trip. Hope you are having an awesome week!

I love sculptures. Love the zoo. Gorgeous butterfly house. These gardens are beautiful. The Visionaries sculpture is beautiful. Looks like some nice healthy food options at the Cafe. Loving the Spanish Moss on the trees. Love the Winter home. Pretty Marshlands and your food looked delicious. I loved the name "Wicked Tuna". Thank you for taking us along Alice and Jack. I've never been to South Carolina but it's been on my wish list for some time. Any botanical garden is always a place I will love. There's something so beautiful about landscape in large scale. The house looks so cool. The water views are stunning. They certainly have a great menu and the food looks good. Prices are a bit high but about what you would expect. Great video.

Myrtle Beach used to be a favorite Spring Break destination for my high school but I never went. Looks like I would appreciate it more as an adult. Those bronze animal sculptures are gorgeous and what a winter home! The zoo looks great, I'd love the tour. What a beautiful place with so much to do. Thank you for sharing it with us.

We've been to Myrtle Beach many times , but have never got south to Murrell's Inlet. Your lovely tour has convinced us we should. Loved the beautiful gardens and the sculptures found there. Huntington Beach State Park looked lovely. Enjoyed the tour of Adelia Castle. The seafood looked wonderful! Thanks for bring us along, Jack and Alice.

Oh guys you visited our happy place. Pearl is jealous you got 3:57 to see the otters. We loved seeing Brookgreen Gardens through your lens. We are hoping to take the boat tours this September. 10:21 Our park. We love camping at Huntington Beach. Come on September so we can head to our second home.
I hadn't been to Myrtle Beach for fun in years (we were actually there early in this year for a funeral but that was not enjoyable). But we had such a blast on this trip to Myrtle Beach. Huntington Beach is wonderful. I can see why you love camping there! We were only in town four days and I feel like we need to take a much longer trip to see much more of what the area offers. But Murrell's Inlet was definitely a highlight! Thanks for watching and commenting!

I would love to visit the Carolina’s someday. It looks so beautiful. Love all of these sculptures, so amazing. So nice to see the animals. Love the butterflies. Such beautiful gardens, the pontoon boat ride would be cool too. The beach itself is so beautiful too, definitely doesn’t look too crowded. Love historic fishing villages, the marshlands look cool. The sculptures and garden were amazing. That was a good looking sandwich. Arthur and Anna had a beautiful home. Figured y’all would eventually make it to the beach. 😂. What a wonderful day and free is always good. The pier walk before a wonderful seafood dinner was nice. I kind of prefer a quiet dinner over pirates dancing. 😂😂

Morning guys Myrtle Beach looks stunning and there seems to be a lot to do there. Love that there is a,castle there as well. The gardens with a zoo are amazing with very cute animals and the guide seemed really good :) The Huntingtons home was so beautiful. Murrell's Inlet is great! We will actually be there tomorrow! There is a buffet in Murrell's Inlet that is our absolute favorite! There is so much to do in the Myrtle Beach area!
