I love how Stray Kids makes their own music and intentionally tries new genres, but they still have a signature sound that carries though. This comeback is "psychedelic trance" genre, seeing it live at KCON LA was a whole RAVE

That's actually so smart. First time i listened to this song i thought it was a mess. But it makes sense because an anxiety attack is messy. I have a new appreciation for this song now.
You don't get psychosis in an anxiety attack
@@forgetfulstranger I know this comment is so old, so like just to note that I am very sure you've moved on by now, this comment is just to satisfy my own need to make sure misinfomation is not being spread. But "um actually," you can get psychosis from an anxiety attack or panic attack. It's uncommon and rare, but it's a real thing and it is one of the possible side effects. Intense anxiety overtime can also cause psychosis. The only difference between anxeity psychosis and other psychosis is how you treat it. Don't believe me? Good! Do your own research, google it right now. You should never trust a random comment alone for infomation like this.
@BabyCakelings Thank you for adding that. Better late than never. My mother suffered a break brought on by her anxiety disorder a long time ago, and my doctors worry about me. Her and I both get such severe anxiety attacks that it affects us on a massively large and quite extreme scale. My heart functions have been permanently altered. Specifically my BPM.
For us both, it's continuously gotten higher and higher as we age... It's literally crazy making. I'm 30 years old, and my resting heart rate can easily be at 130 BPM. During an attack, it will often go as high as 230 BPM. I feel like I always have adrenaline pumping through my veins, I have severe insomnia, and it has caused me to develop the manic form of bipolar disorder.
This song truly is a perfect representation of how I feel every day. I even have chronic tension headaches and migraines from blood pressure fluctuations. Doctors say it's rare to have an emotional disorder affect the physical form so catastrophically. However, when they do, they find that radical psychological changes are logically going to be seen. Ones that, in definition, are categorized as psychosis. 🖤

The reason why I love this channel when they react to Stray Kids is because they're actual musicians.
They know chords, notes, and stuff like that. And it makes me happy knowing that they appreciate those little things that normal reactors don't.
3racha thinks deep when it comes to producing a song that connects with the story, the message, bg, and overall production.

When the girl said that Felix's voice had a cool effect I was just like gIRLLLLL IS JUST HIS VOICE, WE STAN A KING WITH DEEP VOICE
There's a patch added onto his voice by the mixing engineer! Makes it extra textured, kinda synth-esque.
Side effects is a psychtrance genre of music. Its not something that most people really like. But i am amazed at how very well structured this song is.
Stray Kids as a group are perfect I feel for breakdown of music composition because 3racha do such interesting and different sounding things. I think when antis keep claiming Miroh and Side Effects are just noise is a sign that the boys are doing something experimental and different even by kpop standards. We see it especially in their B-sides like My Side, Awkward SIlence, MIA, and 19.

it just makes my heart warm because stray kids was dealing with a lot of backlash for this song on how it was just "noise" but here you have professional musicians hyping side effects up :')

This makes me so happy! I love seeing people (specially ones who are knowledgeable on the subject!) acknowledging the complexity of this song.
Side Effects was so terribly underrated because it doesn't fit the kpop standards at all. People just seem to appreciate more the "sugar sweet, all is well, let's dance" kind of music.
I'm an enthusiast of all their work, but I'm particularly fond of this song ❤️

I never thought about that, i dont think its particularly slow or fast? Its like around 100 bpm which is a moderate tempo
@@ren7768 I think they meant that the beat is a moderate tempo but then the lyrics are rather quick in comparison, thus making it feel faster and creating that feeling of urgency or being chased
