- Our lily pad honey hole was holding some monster crappie. Fishing 2-3ft under a slip cork was the key to catching these monster crappie. Hey man that whipping you put on your partner was hot he had to take a break. Man that's how it is fish one day your hot and the next time your cold and can't buy a bite. Two tips (1) a rake to open up holes fish them and cover them back up. 2) carry a lite cane pole telescope sixteen footer to help each other out. Reaching from the front or back of the boat shorting your rod length. Just go old school on the back in the day they didn't go buy reel they cut cane poles and tree branches to fish. I was sitting at work laughing why school was in. Great day on the water and that smile and grin 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👍🏾
Sometimes it's cologne, hand sanitizer or lotion on your hands, and when you bait your hook with the minnow, that cologne scent repels the fish. I've noticed that fishing (Twice before figuring it out), because my older brother was catching all the fish and I wasn't catching nothing. It happened the first time I went hunting with some of my veteran hunter friends. They sprayed the crap out of me with sow urine to cover the smell of my bath soap and IT WAS ON AFTER THAT!

I wish you would tell people in New York how fresh fish should smell! They buy smelly fish, then get offended when their told their fish stink and smelling up the whole house! Make a video, so I can share it with those people! Do you have any smelly fish house remedies? Reveal them for your subscribers! As a child, I use to go to the fish market with my mother and the fish market only sold fish that had no odor! God! I lost count how many you caught! I love fish, but restrict myself from buying them because the fish here is smelly! Nobody here when you talk about fish and they don't believe me that fresh fish do not have an odor other than smell like ocean water.
