I'm glad you two stay in a variety of types of cabins including interior. Sometimes your budget dictates that if you want to go on the cruise you have to do an interior room. You seem to make the most of it. Of course my favorite rooms are balconies but the budget talks.

We are booked on the Beyond for June 10 but we are staying in a balcony room so we are looking forward to that. You guys do the best cabin tours, just the right amount of information and always well filmed. this is beautiful and spacious cabin and is really helping me decide to book this category on an Edge class ship in complete agreement with your critique with one exception. i think the neutral color scheme is a big improvement over the outdated decor on older Celebrity ships.

The thing that made me smile the most about the cabin was the plug for your blow dryer in the bathroom. Have not seen that on other cruise lines even on new ships. Looks like a beautiful ship!!

Our camera did some magic with lightening the room but it did feel rather dark 😅
Thanks so much - we are spending 3 weeks on the Apex in a deluxe inside this August and think this will suit us fine. We enjoy being in public spaces and it appears that we will easily find plenty of space to enjoy on her, particularly the rooftop garden and Eden.

I'm actually impressed at the amount of storage you get in that cabin. I've sailed balcony on Celebrity (Solstice or Millenium class ships - not Edge yet) and you easily got 50-100% more stow-away space in that cabin. And I like how the bed is not along the back wall, it seems more private to be on the inner wall.

I could never do an inside stateroom but this is such a fabulous space. The bathroom and artwork is beautiful and you can see that they tried to make use of all space. Would love to try Celebrity one day soon. 🙌🏾

I totally agree about the bed. The best thing I saw was the hair dryer in the bathroom. On most ships it's in a drawer at the desk/ vanity area and very difficult to use.
this cabin is the most amazing inside cabin i have ever seen. i love love love it :) one of the things i love is the panelling and walls/cupboards etc being the color of them :) alot of ships that are in aus have dark brown panelling, making them look like cabins from back in the titanic days hehe. love the shower, its so cool :) the entire bathroom is amazing :) and i personally loooooove the orangey throw on the bed and the pop of colors of/ on the sofa :) Two more of my favorite things :) and the last thing i love is the way there is lighting in all of the panelling on the walls and cupboards etc :) this cabin is in another world away from the pacific explorer that we are about to go on in two weeks :) Yes cruising is finally starting back in aus yay :) and us newbies are doing our very first ever cruise, on the very first cruise from australia since 2020 :) were super excited :)

Great job ! There are some neat features in the cabin.. I agree the placement of the bed, needs to be moved. The light feature is really nice, especially the dimming part.. You do have a really big bathroom, I was surprise, since it was inside cabin.

I prefer interior rooms because if you want to take a nap the room is pitch black and it is nice that way.

Thanks for posting. We are on the Apex next week for a 12 day cruise. Beyond's staterooms are pretty much the same layout. We have a "inside cabin." Storage space does look a little lacking and I agree placement of main closet looks awkward.

Thanks for making this video! I've only been on one cruise and it was an interior and honestly the space was so limited. This cabin seems to have way more closet space which is nice and they provide robes for Interior (wow!). I'm sailing on Symphony next month and it will be my first balcony. After that cruise I'll truly decide if it's worth the extra or if I'm satisfied with an interior since I'm truly not in my stateroom much (maybe with a balcony I will). I don't like the color scheme of this room, I agree with you. It feels dark and not a cruise vibe. The bed next to the closet with a door that doesn't open fully, that is confusing to me especially from a Celebrity ship. I truly enjoy all of your videos and watch along when I can! You have made me more excited to cruise and I've had to reschedule 3 cruises since 2019 so lets hope this year is the year to bring cruising back!!!

Hey guys good video... I mostly cruise Carnival and get inside cabins. But looking at the Celebrity Deluxe inside looks pretty sweet but of course Celebrity is Royals step up cruise line So I'm guessing it's a bit more than a Royal or Carnival inside.

The price is definitely higher than Carnival or Royal Caribbean. That said, the experience is definitely elevated as a premium cruise line. (One of our faves!!) 🥳

A “deluxe” inside cabin seems like a misnomer. Of course, any cabin with you both, JJ cruise, in it is a deluxe cabin. Hope you have a wonderful trip! Thanks for another great video!
It’s a nice inside cabin (everything seems well lit and wood tones seem light - not dungeony… maybe it’s the camera picking it up different?). I usually stick to HAL pinnacle class and the inside cabins are a bit smaller but a ton of storage
We try ink our camera does lighten the room a bit but overall we are definitely just being picky - small but noticeable 😉

Lol it took us 2 days to find those corner cupboards on Apex. They didn't look like they opened and I didn't want to pull too hard.
Another thorough and enjoyable review! The cabin is lovely! I like the color scheme and find it very relaxing, and the bathroom is gorgeous! My major complaint is the closet / storage space. (In this department I have yet to find a cruise line that can compare to Princess. I can accept a smaller living space in return for the huge, open, clothes hanging rack and shelving in the “dressing room” area!) The size and placement of the tiny closet and, in my opinion minimal, storage space wouldn’t work for anything longer than a five day cruise! 😁
Hubby and I always say we are going to take less stuff, but it hasn’t worked yet! Moving the bed to the far end would definitely make the closet more accessible.

We had two large suitcases, 2 small suitcases and 2 backpacks with us as well as camera equipment and all was easily stored away! That said, we know everyone packs a bit differently so we completely understand! ☺️

Of course I just missed you. I like the room except I would never be able to stay in it, I would need a window so I wouldn't feel closed in. I even felt a small panic attach starting just watching the tour. It's funny, I never use to be that way when I was younger. Oh the changes we go through when we get older, lol.

I have stayed in this cabin category in both Edge and Apex. The reason why the bed is not at the far wall is because if someone were to request twin beds, the space is not wide enough for adequate separation between the two beds. In addition, the TV would not be facing the bed, which is a problem. There are reasons why they do things the way they do.
Is the cabin layout alternating like on Balcony cabins on some ships? Where every other cabin has the bed close to the closet.
Wow!! Quiet impressed with the amount of storage space you have. I'm in a single infinite balcony cabin and although there are some shelfing there are only 3 tiny drawers, also your bathroom looks a lot larger and I need to lean sightly to my left when getting between the foot of my bed and the TV and no space for a sofa or even a comfy chair, not counting the vanity chair. I know, nit picking and first world issues.

Just today I was looking at Beyond and an inside room. This couldn’t have come out sooner. We usually do balcony but for short cruise it’s ok to get an inside room. We are thinking of trying ocean view so we’ll know what the weather looks like. I told my friend about you both are now TA . If she will go with me I’ll be in touch.

I hope she wants to go. She has this hugh Australia trip in March 2023. It’s very expensive it’s 3 weeks long and they are flying. So she’s saving now…. I don’t think it’s worth it. I’m not going. But in the high hopes she wants to go even later this year I’m glad we have a way to communicate!
I actually like the way the cabin is set up. It's set up like most balconies. Plenty of foot space around both sides of the bed.

I had my first cruise in December 2021 and it was a single, interior room. It was pretty small but it only cost me 1000$ for an 8 day cruise. Going on my second cruise in 2 weeks and it is another interior single's only room. I would rather have a balcony but that would cost a lot more single I would have to pay double.
Thanks for the review of the stateroom! I am booking a sailing on ascent and this exact room is available. I could either book an interior or an ocean view on deck 3. I am just concerned about noise above on deck 4. I can book a room below the shops, which I think would be okay. Do you think this inside room would be quieter than the deck 3 ocean view? I know the touch screens are cool but I really wish they made it more accessible for blind cruisers. I think the edge class have the ability to adjust the lights with the app but I don't think the app is super friendly for screen reader users

Not at all! Most inside cabins onboard ships are actually smaller than this. But truly is a place to sleep and that’s it. 😉
The problem we found with the outlet box was that the US outlets were upside down. The cords wouldn’t go out through the slots easily. I had to jam one plug in as the outlet faced the other way and didn’t have a lot of room. Otherwise, we loved our cabin!

It looks pretty nice but I really don't think I could do an inside cabin at all, and even more now with the possibility of getting sick and being stuck in there. Just seems too claustrophobic for me especially on a cruise I want to be able to see the water! I did one ocean view and think I will always get a verandah. Throughout the entire video, I thought about how bright and cheery the cabin was and how the few splashes of red provided the perfect accents. Any brighter and there would be sterile and no ambiance.

We could push the bed away from the closet a bit but it wouldn’t be able to fit by the vanity. 😅
Did you pull the TV out from the wall and THEN turn it? We encountered a similar problem on our Harmony cruise back in February before we discovered this and noticed that once we returned home that people had posted that the TV's in their staterooms didn't turn.

Surprised there is no art work hanging on the wall. That would give it a nice splash of life to the room. Maybe they will add it later.
There is one piece of art above couch and in bathroom but otherwise you are completely correct! Not enough splashes of life via art throughout the room! 👍🏽

The Deluxe Inside is 21 square feet larger with larger bathrooms, storage space and living space. Deluxe is practically a balcony cabin without the balcony. Truly a wonderful size room! 🥳
what is the difference between inside and deluxe inside ?
Mainly size. On Celebrity Beyond, Insides are 181 sq Ft whereas Deluxe Insides are 202 sq Ft. ☺️
Having seen a complete walk through of Celebrity Beyond & your cabin tour my initial reaction is dull , I expected so much , large expanses of grey everywhere, I don’t think I could stay in your room, like you I feel the bed would have been better placed on the wall, I would prefer the bed facing the door & that TV needs to swivel! on the plus side I’m loving the bathroom ❤️

inside rooms are not safe. You can not air them out. Also in the case of an emergency you would have a second way to escape if you have a balcony. I was on a ship in 1998 which was on fire. We were in an inside room and the fire was coming down the hall. Luckily we got out. I learned to never ever again get an inside room. If you end up quarantined being in an inside room will be very bad.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Pending the cruiseline, you will be moved to an inside stateroom even if you have purchased a balcony stateroom, if quarantined. Although a fire would be the worst situation onboard a cruise ship, we’ve yet to have that experience out of our 36 cruises and over 200 nights at sea. Thus, we believe that risk is rather minuscule and rare.
I'm just wondering about the noise. I see you are backed into another cabin and theres one on the other side. Just got off Equinox and it was not a solid ship. Very noisy. Doors slamming constantly all day and night and I could hear conversations clearly from the adjoining stateroom. The older ships like the Infinity are not as nice, but they seem much more solid and sound proof.
The noise wasn’t bad! That said, we aren’t too noise sensitive at night as we slept hard after these excursions in the Med 😅
Spend the extra nickel and get a balcony room!

I can’t do an interior cabin, the room is way too small, it reminds me of a cheap hotel room without a window. The storage is too close by the bed, you can roll out of the bed into the closet

I totally think your room is great but the lack of uplifting soothing colors bothers me! The bathroom is great except for the picture in there seems weird to me especially for a bathroom. Mr top hat would have to go under the bed! It feels too... Like he's watching.. Nope!
