If Yeva is alive too, she ain't gunna like the fact that her only daughter is dead.
If she were alive, she'd probably be triggered and team up with Uzi to try to destroy that thing, whatever it takes.
I agree with you both. I dont want Yeva to not die. If doll's dead, then I want her to be reunited with her daughter. Even if that means death. If doll's not dead, then they can be reunited alive.

I always did find it strange that both Nori and Yeva's names were lit up in bright green on the screen "Tessa" saw.
That, combined with the fact that Nori was also supposedly "killed" by a Disassembly Drone (with her even recalling it in Episode 7 before _the slap,_ and her line towards N, "Hey, you look familiar", hinting towards a popular fan theory that he, specifically, was the culprit), does give me hope that we're gonna be seeing Yeva in the future.
I especially hope so because it's now established pretty clearly that Doll is completely out of the picture, with storyboards making it crystal clear that Cyn consumed her core as well.
Now, that sounds like wasted potential at face value, but if it later turns out Yeva is, in fact, alive in a "core" form, and has to realize and come to terms with the fact that she basically outlived her child... Storytelling-wise, whatever would come out of that might even make up for Doll's absence/her arc ending unsatisfyingly. Hell, maybe in an inversion of tropes, her mother will end up "finishing the job her daughter started".
The same as her daughter. It's wasted or missed potential if Yeva and Doll are truly dead. I would love to see more Yeva and Nori's relationship, how each of them meet their husbands and how close Yeva was with Doll. But we have to wait and see. ❤
Doll wasn't wasted potential, her entire actions were her trying to do things all by herself and never let anyone help, this was literally her downfall, she lived alone and now she dies alone.

Khan says in ep1 that he used the wrench "to put Nori out of her misery when MDs got to her with their nanite acid".
Which implies that whichever of DDs 'killed' her, didn't fully succeed.
But in ep3 it is implied that Yeva was fully killed by V.
And in ep7 the original directive of DDs is revealed - "to eliminate other hosts".
(Notably not in ep4, there is no such label in Nori's kooky insane stuff room)
So with all that in mind I don't think Yeva survived in any way.

the patch manifest "tessa" found would have shown yeva as "offline" if she were dead. since it was a live list, showing nori as "in progress" for the patch, it would mean it keeps active track of what drones were online, graying out any that were "terminated" such as the ones that read "unnaffected" and "corrupted"

Somewhat cool idea that will never be canon time:
What if V came back, but her body was completely mangled and broken by the sentinels to the point where her solver core was exposed and the same emergancy auto run program that affected J in episode 2 is activated for V. However, thanks to Uzi's hacking into N and V's memories, becoming the admin and replacing Cyn, V is able to stay as herself with her personality. However, she is constantly fighting against the core, still controled by the absolute solver, for control over her body.
It's definitely not the best way for V to come back, but I think seeing V's mangled body with different parts randomly twitching and her voice randomly swapping with Cyn's would be horrifying and I love it.

What find most interesting is fact it implied that Uzi had Absolutely solver active as baby but it was shown to us that it was deactivated some how between event where mother supposedly died and beginning of show since it was set to false in first episode.
We know there be two people who working on Absolute Solver project that would survive being Mitchell the Intern and Pro. Chambers (who didn’t show up and wasn’t dead) but what is more surprising that Cyn knew it was the Intern and not actually Professor ( quote line said by Cyn “thanks Intern”) which mean Chambers probably knows a lot more about the Absolute Solver than anyone else to point where Cyn could actually tell who he is.
I don't think Uzi had the solver active as a baby, but rather that Cyn was simply using this as a means of showing the connection between her and Uzi and that it came from her mother.
I wonder what sort of relationship Nori and Yeva had post-explosion. We knew they were neighbours, but beyond that there's zip 🤔
From the photos after the explosion it looks like Yeva was watching Nori from a distance, not sure what to make of her after what had happened but seemingly just trusting she had become normal and forgot everything.

There friendship seems so cute. Yeva cares for Nori because all they really have is each other in the labs. Nori probably hurt Yeva but as we’ve seen Yeva seems like a very understanding drone. How they have bonded through the harsh mistreatment just seems so cute to me. They don’t blame each other, they blame the solver and the humans. Yeva pushed Nori behind her protectively and from all this they seemed pretty close. I can see why at the beginning they could have been antagonistic like Uzi and Doll but they’ve put that behind them. We know they saw each other again on copper-9 at camp 98.7 but Doll and Uzi were just baby’s and as it seems NorI and Yeva never really spoke again after earth’s core collapse as mothers. I wish I could see it like in the fanart😭.

If Yeva is alive, she could possibly be Lizzy's so called "Secret friend" that Lizzy and Thad we're talking about.
I think Lizzys secret friend is actually V because when they were with Khan in episode 7 after J had left Thad said "was that related to your secret friend" which Lizzy replied to him with "yeah" (didn't feel like typing whole thing) also other than Doll I don't think Lizzy has any other friends left besides V because of either Prom or Uzis break out in Cabin Fever (Episode 4) so I think the only person left could be V

I was definitely touched at seeing how Yeva looked at Nori to see if she was okay and helping her up after cutting her arm off. Definitely shows how common trauma/suffering can bond people.🙂💕💕💕
Oh my goodness I just realised Yeva is left-handed- i was wondering if any of the drones were (i am a lefty too) but i see she uses the solver with her left while Uzi and Nori use their right
From the fight in ep 7 we see they can use either hand, and from nori, we can see they can use multiple hands at the same time.

Yeah, it would make sense if Yeva is still alive, sense her corpse is just still in Doll’s home apartment, maybe her core is alive, even though Doll’s core is eaten by Cyn, and I don’t know if Doll’s core will break out of Cyn’s stomach, I have a feeling it may be destroyed and digested inside of Cyn, but since this is a wild theory, maybe it will or not come true, we just have to wait and see while the episodes of Murder Drones will still moving on, and ending getting more crazier and catastrophic
(I’m commenting this before watching the video, so if I say exactly what he says that’s why)
Another thing to note- we see Doll getting shot in the back of her head by V. Looking at Veva’s corpse, she “died” the same way as Doll- a bullet to the head. Later in episode 3 however, doll uses her Solver to PULL THE BULLET OUT OF HER FACE. If Yeva died, why wouldn’t she do the same thing?
Also, Nori says Yeva’s name in a way that doesn’t have any sort of sad tone to it, and considering how close they were, Nori would certainly be upset if Yeva was gone.
I'm thinking Yeva's alive. She maybe like Nori, a heart-core-crab-thingy, cuz what else would she be?
Stuff I noticed
1. In episode 4, we saw the cool looking "s" drawn by nori, it might be seem as a joke, but In episode 7, we saw it again as it flashes by the paper Nori's core was holding. Given that how nori locker events was describe in a perfect sequence, khan build doors, murder drones arrive, singularity awakens (absolute solver take over copper 9 or uzi having her powers) and last but most importantly, the cool looking "s", could this have been a reference to the joke, or is it telling us that a hero, a person or a special drone that starts with a "s" is about to arrive as the singularity is being awaken? Maybe season 2 will tell us more about it, if they have created it.
Can you use your skills of digging into lore and perhaps find something about it, after all, no joke can be reused twice with effectiveness, and every detail is important and can never be overlook. Or I could just use rimworld logic.
While Doll is most likely dead after her core got the hydraulic-press treatment, we didn’t see Yeva’s get destroyed so it’s possible she’s existing as just a core somewhere right now.
Both have the same purple hair as well, could they have been sisters? Cause so far it's only those two girls plus Uzi and Doll, who have that purple hair. And unless I'm wrong because we haven't seen the other experiments yet, my guess is that they're somehow related.

I think that would be cool.
Of course it would take away from the cool, heart-felt, friend bond the moms had with eachother, but it would still be very cool. Like it would be cool if J, V, and N were all siblings, but maybe they dont know that.
In the end of ep7 we saw cyn (a body controled by the solver) enjoy eating cores

None of the Murder Drones finished Nori off, Khan was the one that killed her
Nori did not die 'technically' by muder drone. She was, however, in weapons range of one as she was stabbed with the tail. Her husband performed the true act by using a wrench... which he happily told Uzi when handing the wrench to her.
But it’s impossible to know if they are truly alive though…. Bc we did see the corpse of doll parents in ep 3 and in ep 7 we even witness absolute solver eating doll corpses and then the core of it. I seen it. Is that even for them to be alive?
I would like to learn more about Yeva and Nori's past in season 2
It is a bit dissapointing that we never got to heard Yeva speak or see more from her before ep7
I hope that Doll’s core gets coughed up by Tesscyn somehow. Either that or I hope Yeva is alive.
Or Doll’s corpse somehow has plot significance in some way. Since all the crucifixes are destroyed, the only way to get the patch code is to extract it from a patched drone. The only known patched drones were Doll and Yeva. So either Doll’s core gets barfed out of Cyn or Yeva is alive somehow.

I doubt Doll is alive, although there is a change of resurrection (maybe turning her into a disassembly drone as a concept for a season 2?), Yeva might be alive tho.

Wait so if Yeva was completly cured doesn't that mean doll was as well. And that's why Doll knew Uzi had a worse version. Also in the episode to looks like sin ate Dolls core because there was the possibility of her coming back in full control.
Yeah, she carries down her mother's Absolute solver, therefore hers is also fully patched, though about her coming back after her core got eaten is unlikely.

if so it would be the only way Glitch can put doll back in storyline because she died for nothing which just puts doll as a non important character in murder drones series and we could just ignore her presence in series. But I'm sure Glitch isn't stupid.

I think N did kill Nori when she was being controlled by the absolute solver. In episode 2 when Thad said that Uzi's gun looked like it crawled away N looked paranoid as if he had seen something like that before.
N was indeed the on who ''killed'' her because of how Nori said ''You look familiar'' to N. So, that suggests that N is Nori's killer.

Doll's was only a hexagon in ep 2, from ep 3 onwards the AS symbol has the triangles like Uzi's (and everyone else). Maybe a remnant from the production.

@@LuisBlackb I believe they were mentioning how the triangles on the edges of the default solver symbol (the once that is scale and translate) were hexagonal for Doll in that one scene where she closes the door in ep 2. But then her solver goes to the one everyone else has (with triangle edges) from ep 3 onwards.

It seems that the drones aren’t supposed to have cores, well at least not supposed to have living ones, so I’m guessing the core and the area around it gets changed by the solver, leading to the fleshy living core and the rib cage around it
In episode 7 Doll is also an Absolute Solver and was never patched by the USB but when Solver Tessa ate her you can see her core getting swallowed but she had no orange speakers not yellow can you or someone else explain this.

Yeva being alive for Ep 8 would not only be a terrible idea considering her daughter Doll died the previous episode, but utterly pointless since it would come completely out of left field. Even Nori being alive is quite the stretch. Plus, we saw Yeva's corpse in Ep 3. I highly doubt she's alive now because it would pretty much break the previous story involving Doll's descent into madness. Plus, where could Yeva possibly be hiding that they haven't found yet? The core? That's the only place left unchecked, but that raises a ton of world building questions on how anyone could survive down there or not considering the core collapsed as a result of things getting sent down there.
I really hope Liam won't be stupid enough to bring back Yeva just for another unnecessary plot twist because it would serve zero narrative purpose at this point. Maybe if Doll was still alive and possessed by the Solver, I could MAYBE see Yeva's return as a way to tie into Doll's story arc, but again, she's dead, so no point in it.
The next villain may be a dog as dogs are mentioned many times in the series. Young(er) N talks about dogs while reading a book in an episode. Dogs were conveniently moved to another area as proven in the cabin episode. That means that they may still be alive and if cyn can hide underneath the skin of people then she can do it with dogs so a drone with the solver may have hid in a dog and the dogs are the ones carrying the code from planet to planet even with the humans studying that code it may actually be these dogs that are the true villains of the series. 🐶🐶🐶⚠
this is an amazing interpretation of the limited information that we were given. Also the way that Nori dies is quite different, Yeva, for what we know died from a murder drone, which may be potentially eaten. However Nori on the other hand goh fucking beat to death by her husband with a wrench, of whom states that the drones stabbed her with their natite acids, so, im assuming that her husband didnt eat hearts, she is alive, but, I hate to be the negative guy in the comments because I also thought someone is gonna ruin Yeva's aliveness in the comments.
I totally forgot about that core thing from the 1st episode.
But as for Yeva, it’s likely that her core was destroyed by V’s nanite poison. Especially since Doll did just witness her parents’ murder. Let’s also not forget that Cyn/solver had just literally ate Doll’s core as well, so unless they had some save file for the worker O.S., they’re definitely just dead.

I think the theory that Yeva is still alive is incorrect because, in the the 3rd episode, The Promening, we clearly see Yeva and her husband's dead bodies and Yeva's chest cavity isn't open, clearly as evidence that Yeva is not alive even as a core and if someone can prove me wrong please reply to this comment.

Now this is probably a terrible theory/assumption as to why I think Yeva is alive. But 3:12 were it shows the list of drones infected with the Absolute Solver, both Nori and Yeva names are still light up while the rest are not. Their names being highlighted could mean that they are still active while the rest are not. Like I said, probably not the best assumption but that’s why I think Yeva is still alive.
From some murder drone theories I've seen on reddit was that nori and yeva could possibly be sisters, since from what I've noticed from watching all the episodes that are posted that no one else in the show has the same color hair except for 4 women. Yeva, nori, doll and uzi who all have purple hair, could not be the case and they were just besties who had a stranged relationship because of them hurting each other before they came to see neither of them were in control of their bodies at the time.

Does being written to the core prevent the Solver from gradually taking control? The last we see of the Solver in Nori was that hand. I think Nori was still in the process of being transferred to the core, overwriting the Solver except for the abilities. That may be why we see such a powerful ability come from only that one hand. I think it was the Solver trying to take them out along with itself as it was being overwritten.

I have a theory about tessa and cyn.
I think that the human skin cyn is wearing in episode 7 doesnt hase to be from tessa.
We can see in preavious episodes that the solver makes a lot of organic matter. Like in episode 2 where it was rebuilding j, it made a perfect human hand, ore later in episode 4 where uzi made a actual living thing aut of a arrow by accident.
So i think it wouldnt be nesassary for cyn to kill tessa. Olso it looked like in episode 5 that tessa wos one of the people cyn liked and didnt wanted to get killed. Even at the end befor she killed all the people at the gala she said to tessa that she doesnt have to see this.
Maybe cyn only coppied tessa because she wanted to be like her, ore it was needet for her plan to fool n v j and the worker drones.
There are olso some more clues about this theory in episode 4 where we first saw cyn but i dont want this text to be too long.
One thing that speeks against this theory is that cyn is wearing the same clotes as tessa, but she could olso gotten them elswere.
I am not completly sure about this theory but maybe we get mor info in episode 8.

My theory for episode 8 is that Uzi would be able to obtain the cross/usb plug that nori thrown into the flesh hole in the flashback
I think Yeva must have taught Doll about the absolute solver since Doll seems to be more knowledgeable about it. So I feel like she would have let Doll know she was alive. Also kind of off topic, but I was curious, what do you think would happen is Uzi could somehow become Cyn's admin like she did with N and V? I wonder if they could defeat the solver that way.
The S was a joke, referencing a stylized S kids thought was cool to draw near about 30 years ago, thought I'd find it hysterical if it was somehow plot relevant.
No the realm question is why the cool S is so important for the plot and why everyone doesn't realize the Cool S is the answer to everything.

There are some problems with the story right now such as why they experimented 2 times when they actually humans experimented since they were already wiped of copper-9 that doesn't make sense or how Nori and Yeva escaped the explosion bc the explosion was over Earth not Copper-9
