I recently got an used XS max for around $400 for the 64 GB variant. Except for battery life everything about this phone is excellent. Best bang for the buck.

iPhone xs- premium stainless steel body, better grip on hand, gold colour is eye Turner, 3d touch display and in hand feel is great and comfortable..

The iPhone xs feels better on the hand, it feels more premium. I had a 13 and returned it and went back to my xs. The 13 felt a little too big and the display looked cheaper. I'm pretty happy with my xs.
@A Z Idk, it's hard to explain. If you have an xs and an iPhone 13 and put them side by side you will notice and feel the difference. Even my nephew who has an iPhone 12 told me that my iPhone xs felt more premium and better on the hand. I feel like Apple are using lower quality on their oled displays. Idk, I may be wrong. You can find a use iPhone xs for 300 to 400 bucks. You should try them side by side and go with whatever feels better for you. I hope they bring LCD back on their phones though or give us an option.

That’s a personal preference. I believe the 12’s squared design and thinner bezels are nicer, especially the Pros with their matte finish.

Xs max is still fast enough, actually it’s not cheap when it just came out price is us$1200 which is same as the 12 pro max so u can imagine how good the quality of this model...
I ordered mine refurbished from Apple with the 512gb storage option for 990$ better than paying for an 11 with lcd display or 12 with 128gb.
I ordered xs (256) refurbished for only 350$😎

I just got a xs waiting for it to come in. I'm using an s8 making the switch. My plan is to upgrade to the 13 when it comes out.
So the eBay person sent me a phone listed as great condition but wasn’t so I returned it and got an 11 and I’m very happy!

I had a XS but “Carrier up date failed” starting popping up & the phone was useless had to upgrade to 12, really miss the smaller screen. I was going to get the mini but battery life was my main concern

Wait for this year’s iPhone instead. Otherwise, between the XS, 11 Pro or 12 Pro, I’d choose either 11 or 12 Pro. Very similar phones that have nearly the same battery and camera, superior to the XS’s. Upside of the 12 Pro is the design (slightly bigger screen w/similar size), squared design, 5G and better camera. Upside of the 11 Pro; price. Upside of the XS; most affordable of the bunch, but keep in consideration that the battery isn’t the best.

Xs is quite good but the battery life and wifi and 4G connection are bad.
Yeah, I always had issues with wifi and 4g with my old XS Max. Loved the phone, but I now have a 12 Pro Max and those problems are non existent.

If you’re gonna upgrade just jump straight to the 12 Pro instead. No reason to take a poll with a standard 12, unless you plan on keeping it.
I recently upgraded from a XS Max to a 12 Pro Max and there are quite a few differences. Bigger, thinner bezels, a WAY better battery and camera and feel in the hand because of the squared design. As to speed and fluidity, you won’t notice that big of a difference. Ram management is clearly better as well, as apps happen to stay open as opposed to the XS’s. I upgraded just for the improved battery and camera.
The speed of the 12 is due to the A14 chip all is same and slightly bigger apple doesn't change anything in their fones

@@marshallcarter3282 yes, but night mode is totally different crisp clear photos and even daytime photos big improvement, you can see the difference when you zoom the photo. Of course every new iphone is expensive.

iPhone 12 is the better phone, but it is really not by much… but the batteri is much better on iPhone 12 to be honest and it is a tiny bit faster, not much at all but faster.
It is not worth the upgrade.
I have the iPhone 12 and i love it, the only thing that made me upgrade was batteri life, one charge is enough for a hole day, when i had the iPhone XS i had to charge it 3-4 hours before bedtime.
