Yamaha Single Intake Manifold review.. BiP vs. KJS

I have decided to convert my motorcycle to a single carb system, after trying to convert my stock carb with the BiP manifold, I have decided to go to the KJS system and I explain why.

what yamaha are the manifolds for the xv535? or is it another model? and where did u buy also what carps are u using? :) Sry for the many questions.

That FCR is the best carb on the market. It alao has an accelerator pump that kicks ass. Throttle response will be 10x better going from idle to WOT quickly

Could you tell me the model of Mikuni carb you went with and if there was any modifications done to it ( bigger jets etc )

It's a Tm40-6 .. he probably just got rejetted to accommodate the extra flow.

I tried every thing on mine it just fouled plugs like crazy espesaily the front used so much gas when you use one carb you got twice the vacuum pulling on it I leaned mine way down I tried difrent carb still suck gas i have bosh platinum plugs in it hotter ones they been in it 4 years and havnt fouled my carb I got on mine the Hitachi carb one runs the best on it kehine 110 main jet some one says its to small but plugs are a perfict tan been running on it long time I helped another guy fix his its been running long time to

I used the stock cable.

Fuel is falling out of suspension with bip . Also the drilled main probably won't meter and pass fuel into atomization as precisely .

Some one bored my jet out the same I put a 150cc scooter jet in it and it's a 110 main jet I get 35mpg was geting 8 mpg I unhook the boost sensor vacuum line runs awesome tan plugs unhook your vacuum line to the boost if you got one mines been runnig awesome 6 years mines a kjs intake

IV got a jks on my 1000 it suck gas IV got a 105 kehin jet in it now for last 4 years came out of a China 150cc scooter carb got the boost sensor vacum line caped off to it was fouling plugs like crazy plugs in it now 4 years old bosh platinum 2s runs great 40 miles a gallon

Kjs plastic? It's alloy
