There is a $20/mo/user premium license that allows unlimited apps for a named user, but there is also per app licensing at $5/mo/APP/user. A good way to ease into the licensing, just be sure to switch users to premium if they will exceed 4 apps!
Could you please point me to a solution for my issue? I created a model driven app with some dataverse tables and one flow that fills some data when a row is created. in the same solution i created a canvas app so that users can fill barcode data using their phone. I assigned per app licenses to this environment and enabled them to be used by the canvas app. The user cannot run the app on his phone and it keeps asking for a license. Does he need a premium too?
I think the canvas app will require a power apps premium licence for every user accessing it, since it's connecting to dataverse. If it has a flow connected to it accessing Dataverse it will also need a power automate per user license. 1 license per service:model-driven, canvas and automate.
Most apps of this kind (database systems) don’t require everyone in the company to have access. However if your use case genuinely had 4K users talk to your Microsoft rep about pricing.

Well, as a community college that prices us out of that solution.
Good to make app but Microsoft looting as every user need to have licence to have app😢
For 4100 sized company the cost of licence is about 1 mln / year. That’s crazy. It’s cheaper develop a real app…
