  • Dada explains the importance of tribulations as helping agents to reach our spiritual goal.
By firmly adhering to the moral principles of Yoga and constantly striving to expand our consciousness through meditation we develop a strong nervous system, a strong mind. This strength enables us to withstand the huge energy release which comes as a result of the awakening of Cosmic force within us.
We become like a burnt seed (dagdha biija in Sanskrit)-whatever happens to us either positive or negative we can withstand it knowing that they are merely the expressions of the Law of Cause and Effect that we have created from before. It is this detachment from the vagaries of physical existence which marks a significant advancement in our life long spiritual journey.
00:11 What is the key-point of sadhana? Who is sadhaka? How does the «seed» burn?
04:38 Conflicts between white and black sides. Laws of nature
07:01 2 challenges. How to pass through tribulations?
10:18 What is a meditation about?
    13:07 Why do we suffer?
    18:34 The fighter`s song

"and when you seat for meditation and the sky hits you with thunderbolts, mercilessly, you stay strong in your sadhana, you stay strong in your morality. And after that the sky is clear, the sun shines, and you are seated there, like a new man! , a new woman!, with the brightness and a freshness, and optimism, and faith! Isn't beautiful? So we have to become like that!! "
    So so inspiring

Thank you Dada! Whenever I lack discipline and do not keep up with my practice(for whatever reason) I continue to observe how this affects me. I can now more clearly see how my practice or non-practice effects my inner and outer self. Also,I feel that even though I am striving to improve, I can accept my failures and use them to strengthen my practice.

Yes I do feel the goal in life is to become much much stronger.. whenever I am in difficult situations..it is hard for me to see the positive light at the end of the darkness.but definitely letting go whenever possible is surely the most freeing experience and things do change.. life never stays the same.. we only feel like the bad times were longer because we pay too much attention.

Oh Dada, just such an opportune video! I have been undergoing the greatest tribulations ever, everything was pretty much taken from me - physical and mental health, anyone to rely on - literally nobody could I depend on, not family, not health etc services, just nobody. I tried to maintain my practice but eventually succumbed to all manner of baser behaviour eg I've eaten flesh 3 times now and I gave it up at 12 years old , am 49 now. All manner of really awful, really primitive behaviour has come to the fore and I've given in to some of it even though part of me was screaming 'NO!' I did some of it anyway. Does this mean I failed or is it a process of seeing if one can relinquish it finally?
Now I've just watched this video I feel reborn and positive again. Thank you 😊
I think this is severe testing as I recently spent a year purifying myself and experiencing such heights of pure love nearly all the time I finally felt ready to offer my life totally and unconditionally to God, and did so, these trials occured about 2 weeks later and now it's 2 months in, have been in both a medical hospital and a psychiatric one . Golly it's been tough. How do you know if you've failed or prevailed?
I thought I'd failed dismally but on watching your video it's all just dropped away and, like you described, I've come out into clear skies and sunshine again. I just hope it lasts! Sometimes this feeling doesn't - have experienced it many times before 🙂
Anyway, thank you dear heart, just what I needed, I've loved your videos for a while now. Thank you thank you thank you and peace be with you

Now I really don't mind what other people might think (and to be honest, i think not so many are actually interested in my person, so why should it bother me). We are too much centered on our persons, but the world does not revolve around us, for most of the people it does not matter whether we raise our hands up or act in other strange ways.

And how to deal with the weakness and sickness that treatment brings? Sorry for the late reply.
My grandmother was told that she has only one week to live, the doctors told my parents that she has incurable brain cancer, that only few centimeters of the brain remain intact, and rest is gone. But my grandmother survived and lived another 15 years and she was a light of our family, she died at the age of almost 90 years. I believe, that one must accept whatever fate awaits, and place one's trust on God, utilize time in meditating and thinking about God. These are precious moments, they matter a lot. A miracle is possible, but we should not cling to matter, rather we should cling to spirit and fill our heart with love and acceptance.

  • @borisnahalka3027
    @borisnahalka3027 Před 9 měsíci

The Sanskrit word Sadhana means "tool". In the context of the Yoga, it means spiritual practice. Life is never black and white. it has all the colours of the rainbow. and all the shades and combinations in between. If your life is a sequence of black-and-white moments, you are basically a computer. one and zero. and even with quantum computing, it is getting more advanced than that. so you are like an old generation of computers.
Karmic seeds, deep in the unconscious mind can be burned only through constant/uninterrupted awareness. it has nothing to do with positivity or negativity, it has everything to do with your ability to see and to be awake.
The true seeker knows only one kind of suffering. Suffering from the pain of ignorance. What is suffering? An antagonistic stance against the present situation. something is not as it should be. seeker feels the pain, in fact, he/she feels more pain because he/she is more sensitive, more receptive, more vulnerable. But suffering? no. only from knowing, that I still do not know.
different laws of nature for different kinds of beings? seriously? You should have washed your mouth after uttering those words because it stinks like shit.
Yama and Niyama have nothing to do with morality. Morality is a human construct which is constantly changing due to current circumstances. Yama and Niyama are universal principles, way beyond morality independent of time, space and beings. Yama and Niyama say: "no matter who you are, where you are or when you are, you do this, this will be the outcome. you do that, that will be the outcome."
what is confusing to me when I watch your videos is your persistent dualism. good vs. bad, white vs. black, spiritual vs. materialistic and so on and so forth. Yoga teaches the complete opposite. be inclusive. don't divide. Seek unity.
There is no Sadhana to attain Samadhi. Sadhana requires effort. Samadhi can never be achieved through effort. not even meditation. Effort is needed to prepare. Preparation for higher energies is achieved through Asana and Pranayama Sadhana. Preparing the mind for meditation and Samadhi is achieved through Pratyahara and Dharana Sadhana. After that, there is nothing you can do other than just sit and wait. If you prepare well, it will come. If you didn't or you still want to do something it will not. it is very simple, but not easy.
one thing is true though. The closer you get to breaking the cyclical motion, the faster the wheel of Karma seems to move. So, yeah, the spiritual path is not always a walk in the park. Another fact that might look discouraging/depressing is that the seeker must abandon the Hope. Hope is for a better future. Seeker is done with the future and done with the past. The seeker seeks to see what is now and here. it is shifting the perspective from the horizontal line of time to the vertical line of eternity. In such a situation, there is no place for hope, belief or even faith. Those are things that prevent you from seeing clearly. The only thing you need is trust.
Be strong, be tough and you will break. be soft, be adaptable /flexible and you will endure. Meditation has nothing to do with being strong or weak, meditation is a sudden disconnection with duality. If somebody says: "it was a good meditation", you can be sure there was no meditation at all.
I finish here because it is already way too long of a comment, but I might come back to it later.

@@MeditationSteps thank you for the response Dada, tried everything i could. Part of me is devastated that she will live a uncertain life, but part of me is fine knowing that She will not have to live in a confined space of a small house. Total acceptance will come if i am totally detached. And its easier said than done. Will keep trying. Thank you again for your response. Means a lot.

@@MeditationSteps found her Dada, She was hiding in the generator room in the basement. Was a very stressful day, but all's well that ends well. Not sure what the learning from the experience, but I guess I need to get over the attachment. So I feel less pain. Be like manager/caretaker in this world. Thank you so much Dada!
