Having been a fan since I was 9 or 10 years old (around 1971) I can confidently predict that you'll have many new 'favourites' on your Sabbath journey ;-). You've only just scratched the surface so far and there are so many incredible tracks for you to yet discover. I'd recommend resuming your journey back at the beginning and work your way through each album in chronological order. More Sabbath please, you really won't regret it and your life will have been forever enriched!

As a lifelong Sabbath follower I still an in awe of this amazing band. This song is 51 years old and it still gives me goosebumps listening to this extraordinary band. It also pleases me to see your reaction to this and by doing so this band will forever be remembered as the absolute pioneers of heavy metal

'Is he high?' on the nail, Josh.
I dig your reaction to the transitions, that used to be the formula: all the bands used to have an intro riff, a chorus, bridge, a vamp, different grooves, key changes, volume and attack, all in the same song. You felt like you'd been on a trip.

You are hearing, quite possibly IMHO, the best off beat drummer. Bill's ability to fill the empty spaces is just crazy. Check out Rat Salad and Wheels of Confusion.

You can definitely hear the jazz influences in Bill's playing.

The song is supposedly about a run-in that they had with some Doc Martin (boots) wearing skinheads, and one of them was a dwarf

Being a drummer you might be interested in hearing some of Bill Ward's, best work. "Supernaut" from Volume IV is my favorite Sabbath song and I've been listening to them for 50 years. Enjoy.

Do not forget pioonering industrial performances of Bill Ward: Tomorrow's Dreams, Back Street Kids, Johnny Blade; also the doomy style of Ward introductions of Under The Sun, Wheels of Conf, Snowblind. Geezer Butler, no coments... simply extraterrestrial !!!

Black Sabbath & Led Zeppelin spawned metal & hard rock with amazing musicians at all positions. However I’m going to request La Villa Strangiato by Rush live in ‘78 or pinkpop’79. They love time & temo changes.

The Wizard is my favorite song. Sabotage is my favorite album. Dio is great with them and Born Again is fantastic, as well, but ,for me, it's not really Sabbath without the four original members. I trust in God and the first six Black Sabbath albums. Everyone else pays in gold.

When I purchased this album as a teen I had heard several other tracks on the radio and FWB was such a great surprised. Really got into it this song first up. My friends and really loved playing this album along with LZ, DP and PF back in those days. Early Sabbath was so new, unique and special. The first 6 albums really great. Many thanks for doing this song, great reaction.

Best diss track of all time. Insulting a bunch of skinheads wearing faux combat boots who tried to jump him and his bandmates one night. Never gets old hearing it.

FWB is my favourite Sabbath track.
There have been so many reactions to Sabbath Josh, so i'll recommend one i have never heard reacted to, from a less popular album (mid 70s).............. 'Dirty Women'
Also Josh, check out Wishbone Ash.

Of all the songs you picked for the lyrics, I would say this one isn’t about anything. The music is fire, the groove is undeniable. Bill Ward is a monster on this track. Song meaning? I don’t think it has any meaning other than a crazy walk home on some serious psychedelics.
I would suggest “Hand of Doom” my favorite Sabbath track. Bill Ward was heavily influenced by jazz. He referred to himself as a percussionist.
Bill beats the drums like they owe him money. He’s the TRUTH!!!!!!!!
If you haven’t checked it out already, you should listen to Zeppelin “when the levee breaks” the drum riff is one of the most sampled riffs ever.
