I'm not trained to sing opera, I was training the opera sound for about 1 week.
This song was pre-recorded, also all the instruments I have recorded myself using my midi-keyboards and Logic Pro. I mixed and mastered myself, also I filmed the video on my phone and edited it using Final Cut Pro.

"Barcelona" is a single released by Queen vocalist Freddie Mercury and operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé. A part of their collaborative album Barcelona, it also appeared on Queen's Greatest Hits III.
The song reflects Mercury's love of opera with his high notes and Caballé's operatic vocals, backed by a full orchestra. Originally released in 1987, it was one of the biggest hits of Mercury's solo career, reaching number eight in the UK Singles Chart. After Mercury's death in 1991, it was featured at the 1992 Summer Olympics, after which the track climbed even higher, peaking at number two in the UK, the Netherlands and New Zealand.
Mercury had been a long-time fan of opera, especially favouring Montserrat Caballé.In 1986, he mentioned on Spanish television that he would be glad to see her in person. They had a friendly initial meeting in Barcelona in February 1987. Later, when the city had been chosen for the 1992 Summer Olympics, Caballé, a native of the city, was asked to help with producing a song for the games. She summoned Mercury for the task. Caballé became enthusiastic about the project and instead of recording a single, she proposed to make an album, on which Mercury agreed. The song "Barcelona" had to be its opening song, to be completed by 1988, and to be submitted as a candidate for the 1992 Olympic theme (the selection was scheduled for 1988, four years before the Games).[4] The recording was complicated by Caballé's tight schedule. Thus to spare her time, Mercury recorded the song, singing Caballé's part in falsetto. He would then send a tape to Caballé to prepare her for the joint studio sessions.

Absolutley amazing! I've read that Freddie was a big fan of Montserrat and couldn't wait to record it. As I may have said before I've seen Freddie and the band live a couple of times back in the '80s and was just floored by how they sounded live and Freddie's command of the audience. Young lady you have that ability as well.

love how the "back up vocalist" is casually touching up her make up during this dramatic song haha, this woman is hilarious, can act, is musically insanely skilled and has an amazingly versatile voice too. I wish she would record some serious opera arias, she has surprisingly good control and sings the ornaments and runs clearly without cheating or blurring the notes. would love to hear her sing Bellini, Donizetti or Verdi etc...

Until I heard this, I would never have believed that one person could cover both lead parts of this song, let alone the choral and keyboard backing, entirely alone.
Of course, nobody can quite be Freddy, but your talent is just as unique, and the sheer range of musical styles you cover is absolutely astounding, and your voice - well, it almost seems impossible, and I'm speechless in how to describe your range in style, pitch, power, tempo, and dynamics.
Every tme I hear what I believe is the greatest performance possible for one voice, you keep coming up with something to top it.
