For a 'vulnerable person' to be mocked can be devastating in itself, that it often comes from those in power leaves the person feeling worse than useless. The sentence in no way reflects the crime.

Did he lose his job?
Yes he definitely did lose his job, he was a firearms officer as well, it happened literally just around the corner from where my bungalow is, he had been a cop for 24 years, he’s lost his career his pension and all his credibility, there was a few cops in a small police van, and not one of them had their body cameras on, so in my opinion they knew that they were gonna bully before they found the kid who I know very well buddy, and I swear to you I’m speaking the truth, luckily it was the shop cameras that his own colleagues used to prosecute him, unbelievable in our local paper it said that in court that he was basically well respected and some of his colleagues gave good references about him, somebody must’ve had in fore him cause like I said, not one of the 5 cops that were there had their body cameras on, so it was just a big set up they knew that if they found the poor kid they were gonna in some way abuse the poor otherwise they would’ve had their body cameras on, it’s because of shit like this they put body cameras on the police jackets in the first place, imagine how many other people he’s abused and got away with over the years, just because people wear a uniform it doesn’t give them the right to abuse people in any shape or form, I don’t like to see anyone and I mean anyone lose everything that they have but sometimes people do deserve it, how many people have those 5 cops had people prosecuted for doing less than what they did when they basically attacked my buddy, karma can be a bastard sometimes I guess mate, wether he deserved to lose everything I don’t know, I just know that what he did along with the other cops that he was with wasn’t a very nice thing to do to a homeless kid.
Ricky the kid is a good friend of mine and it happened literally around the corner from my bungalow buddy, the cop was a firearms officer believe it or not, and out of all the cops, I think there were 5 cops that were there cause they were driving around our estate, in one of their little vans, with I think it’s blue and very light green or yellow squares all over it, but not one of them had their body cameras on so, I believe they had all the intentions of abusing the poor, I used to let him sleep on my couch but I had to go into hospital, but like I said he was a firearms officer and he had been in the police force for 24 years and he’s lost everything, his job, his pension and all the credibility that he had but, I bet you anything you like Ricky that my little mate ain’t the first person that he has abused in some kinda way, I’m so glad that you highlighted this story mate and I’m sorry I haven’t put my buddies name in this comment I just don’t think it’s necessary that’s all buddy, take care Ricky and thanks again buddy.

If the "criminal" is 16 or 60, some police are super tough. Those same police would sh!t their pants facing someone that could handle themselves. What gets me; apart from the human tragedy, is the cynical cowardice...

Disgusting outcome. But unfortunately that is not an isolated case, all these criminals who wear the clown costume seem to get a free ride with their criminality.
The uk police are a joke, you get worse for hurting someone's feelings on the Internet or a driving offence then you do for carrying a knife, it's pathetic.
I just done 21 month for doing a 168mph, i didn't crash or hurt anyone.
( yes it was stuiped and reckless no excuses the 5 year ban i got i deserved, the prison time i think was over the top).
There was plenty of people in for knife crimes and robbery, serious assaults, all doing less than me,
It was a running joke, the lads would tell the new guys i got the judges daughter pregnant.
A lot of people still believe it to be true considering how ridiculous it was to give me that for speeding, no drink or drugs, the car was owned and insured by me, no one hurts or anything damaged
21 months 5 year ban £1000 fine and 3 years of fighting to get a £40k car back.
Yet carrying a knife for the 3rd time or robbing someone or stabbing them is some how deserving of a lesser punishment.

@kirstyhodgins1898 poor me eh, guess it was my own fault, wasn't so bad, had a fishtank,, an xbox, my own bedding and a cosy job on the pass, met some right rats but a lot of decent guys aswell,
One thing I find odd is that I laughed more in prison than I had in years, prison wine is ..... interesting. X

@kirstyhodgins1898 I won't be going back lol, I actually started keeping fish because of that and I stopped smoking aswell, best to look at the positives, only seeing my dog on a phone screen and having to watch my kids walk out the vist room was awful, should be able to drive next year, buzzing for that x
