My mother got breast implants in the 2000s and had to have them removed three years ago because of how sick they made her over time. She now has to live with a chronic illness for the rest of her life. She’s in pain every single day and she’s had to go through a lot to heal as much as she as. Im not saying this here to discourage anyone because I’m not against plastic surgery at all, do what you want with your body, I’m saying this to potentially raise awareness and inform women on this because doctors very often withhold information from their patients and informed consent is so so important.
My mother isn’t an isolated case, millions of women all around the world suffer from breast implant illness. Ladies please make sure your decision is informed and stay safe❤

I don't think it was a doctor withholding info? They're meant to be taken out /replaced and not kept in for that long, right?
Nor trying to minimise anything you're saying,
I obviously don't know the full story, and I think raising awareness and making sure people know these things is important. Having said that, unless her doctor never mentioned that, this isn't so much a breast augmentation issue but rather her not being informed enough about the upkeep which isn't her fault.
I hope she's doing well and that she is able to recover.
@@AelHydrangea hi! Thanks for writing that i understand what youre saying but she actually had a certain kind of implants that are made to be kept in for long. The implants themselves, no matter wha they’re made of, aren’t biologically supposed to be inside of your body. It’s an unknown body thats forced inside of you. Whether your body rejects them or not, whether you get sick or not, its still not supposed to be in there which ultimately means there’s a high chance of them intoxicating you. Whether its 5months post op or 15 years after.
Again, I’m not trying to shame anyone for their choices, if you do have implants i think thats great, as long as you’re happy! Im just stating that as a scientific fact:)

And some people can connect to your videos just like me. i know someone that probs went to one of these meeting because of breast cancer. So i think i say thank for alot of us💗💗💗
I haven't had one myself but two of my friends have! One was reconstructive and one was a cosmetic boost. Both of them were thrilled with the results ❤

Just my opinion but I like small I think it's really attractive but it's how you feel about yourself what matters
i recommend watching videos on breast implant illness first for research!
Are you familiar with Dr Youn? He’s a plastic surgeon on CZcams. He looks at things pretty holistically, probably has a good video or two on risks/benefits and what to consider. He seems pretty real, not trying to sell anything
Imagine one day you'll be 80 years old and you've had these now old silicon plastic bag things sitting in your body for decades.
Please - just read a lot first. Talk to other women. Get a secondd and third opinion. Research a list of questions you should ask the surgeon. Make SURE they are a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon - not some other kind of doc that just does this aside from his other certifications. Ask about options, ask about issues, ask if you have thin skin. Your own breast skin will still sag down the line. Can you handle having future revisions? Not saying you shouldn't have it, just be aware that every action has a consequence (good or bad) Ask about mammograms in the future! But be your OWN advocate - no one is going to care about you more than yourself! And just as an aside, I had to have a bilateral mastectomy for cancer. Having big breasts isn't the be all end all. Being healthy is much better. Good luck to you!

Please try not to be stressed, I know it’s easier said than done! I had this procedure nearly 2 years ago now and it was honestly the best experience ever. The surgery didn’t take as long as I thought it would and then I had the excitement of unwrapping my new babies 😂 just remember that you want to do this and the practitioner does many of these surgeries every day. Wishing you all the best ❤
