- Äas pĆidĂĄn 23. 07. 2024
- In this episode of The Table With Anthony ONeal with Ken Claytor, we explore racism from a Kingdom perspective. Ken argues that racism is a sin issue and that Agape love should be the standard by which we measure our actions. I want you to know the difference and the importance of intent and impact when examining our actions or the actions of others. Don't miss out on this insightful and thought-provoking conversation.

I love this so much, Thank you brother's for this. This is currently my life and calling. God called me to move to a small town where I am literally THE ONLY Black American woman. My ministry is to spread love and kindness, break down barriers, and bring the gospel of grace. Blessings to you all because the Lord is VERY serious about this! HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR LET HIM HEAR!
This was a great episode! I love Pastor Ken's perspective on how he handles diversity in his church. Thanks again Anthony for you being transparent and for all you're doing to help others through your platform. Thank you Pastor Ken for sharing light from a spiritual perspective on this subject matter. This is definitely a mind opening episode well needed.
I love this dude. Such truth. "We're all the same race, the human race". Great line.
Amen!
Cringe
No we not. Study your own biology.
Had a white man said that or a Mexican or a native or Asian. That would be a whole different story theyâd be called racist
Being a Christian man, this episode defines what Christianity is all about. We are all created by God to love and unity with others no matter what race you are. I stand with the Human Race!
This was amazing! The clarity and god-centeredness of this conversation on this topic was life giving! It's important to bring this stuff to light for healing to occur. More conversations like this! I loved it! â€ïž
Iâm bawlingđą. Because Iâve been crucified on fb for trying to take this stance. Thank you Anthony!!đđđđ
Hugs to you.
@@lakaykes5544 you beautiful child of God. But let me just add that I was crucified by my own son, minister of the gospel and by my own pastor. It was more than I could handle. But thanks be to OUR Father for His work of truth being revealed in and through each one of us!â€ïžđ

All people should be supporting your business in order that we can NOT support corporations!
Depends on what definition of racist you use, the real one or the recently manufactured one. If you use the old definition anyone can be racist. If you use the newly manufactured definition, only those who society deems oppressors can be âracistâ.
đŻ Correct
.....Semantics
People creating their own definitions nowadays.. smh anyone can definitely be racist towards any other race
False.
Racism is discrimination based on race and ethnicity! Racism is a group sport not an individual practice! You discriminate against people by denying rights and privileges against people! What rights and privileges can black people deny anyone???

This conversation is priceless!!! Thank you Anthony!!
Pastor Ken quoted the final words of Jesus (Acts 1:8). My church in Atlanta uses this verse to implement our vision. We are to be witnesses in Jerusalem (building strong families), Judea (transforming the community), Samaria (reconciling cultures) and the ends of the earth (impacting nations). Our church has over 140 nations that call our church home. That's what heaven looks like. Thanks for this post. I just bought the book. Keep up the great work Mr Anthony. Blessings to you and Pastor Ken.
What church do you attend? I'm asking because I go to a church that has the same vision. Victory church in Norcross
God is separating the wheat from the tares. He is shaking us to see who rises to the top, and who falls to the bottom. It is a painful process, but necessary.
There a difference between prejudice, bigotry, and racism.
AO, thank you for your transparency and vulnerability! Personally, I was not offended but rather appreciated your honesty with who you are attracted to ~ why because that is "your business" lol. This was a blessed conversation. You asked all the right questions! Anyone who is Kingdom Minded will at the very least take an honest self-assessment. đđœ Just know I needed to hear this and will be looking at getting that book!
There is a fine line, balancing act and pull on so much but thanks be to God we can go to His Word to see what He says about it. That's the benefit of being in relationship with Him. I can relate with the pushback from our black community, I have come to the conclusion that many people will have much to say but what's most IMPORTANT is what God say. Ephesians 6:12
Peace and Blessings to you both đ«
This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing this.
Don't conflate our need as Christians to see all people as equal and one "race" with the need to prioritize the Black community due to the disproportionate social issues facing the Black community.
đđŸđđŸđđŸ
What an episode!! This was much needed. Thank you Anthony and Pastor Ken!
As a Christian, who happens to be white, I really loved listening to this. God bless you all.
There is no God ..
I just know that Iâm at peace now that I stopped listening to toxic black culture music, podcasts, tv shows, etc! This confirmed that Iâm not the only one thatâs tired of division from other races đąđąđą
Love, love, loved THIS episode! Please make a part 2!
This pastor mirrors my own pastor's teaching. How can we have these global denominations with missionaries going everywhere but sin, fear, and hate at home?
Professionally, anytime someone brings up DEI my eyes roll, for the last 8-9 years as it replaced affirmative action. If a company wants an intentional hire, I can do that but don't expect me to sit in a room and try to educate people's bias away, unless it's a Bible study. I can't do that work as part of my 9-5.
This was a great conversation. God bless both of you brothers.
Wow! this was such a powerful conversation. I even got teary eyes because the way that Pastor Ken spoke ,so much truth about all these issues are just spiritual issues & helps gives so much prospective. Please keep bringing up these important conversations AO
My white little baby boy was 5 months old when Trayvon Martin was killed, after seeing him pull his little hoodie he was wearing up I took a photo of it and shared on Facebook- from this I grew close to Trayvon's family, especially his dear Uncle he stayed with often to help. A year and a half later my sweet son unexpectedly passed away - this increased our families bond - nothing else but forever with our Lord and the forever to come we still have with our loved ones really matters.
Brothers, both of you be blessed...I will be buying this book. Pastor, I know it wasn't a sermon, but you moved me like one. It fills my heart as a man to watch respectful conversation between to well seeded men. Just my opinion, but many of the things you've spoken on are a direct reason for the lack of men in our churches. Reconnecting with our spiritual side and excepting that none of us are perfect.. We can sit down and talk as people... Not white people or black people or any other people.... Just people.... Good video
How did you know I needed this TODAY in 2023... thank you Jesus for this amazing video. đđœ #PalmsUP
This was a much needed conversation. Lately, I'm of the mindset that it's kingdom over everything.

This was such a powerful message đđŸđđŸđđŸ. Thank you Anthony
I'm only 5 minutes in and I could listen to this guys voice all day. It is so smooth and you can still hear his passion for the Lord in that calm smooth tone.
lol thats a joke right? every race is and isnt racist...I think its has WAY more to do with your up bringing than how you naturally feel we dont naturally dislike other races its taught to us...every person is different and not a single race is all alike so if you dislike a certain race you dont really dislike everyone in that race anyway you just dislike certain cultural actions or commonalities...but hate is also a strong word I think some people find certain cultures uncomfortable but they dont actually hate anyone for their heritage or skin color...We also are an ignorant species we don't like what we dont understand...
This is awesome, looking above to finding solutions for us growing closer together and loving each other. Thank you
AO, thank you for this! I hope people listen to the whole conversation.
Come on Pastor I needed this word đ Not about racism but about how good things happen to bad people. God allows the enemy but We are to trust God nevertheless. AO this is good
This should be an interesting discussion.
It should be a good one
This was GOOD, and very convicting. This should force everyone to self-reflect.

This was amazing!!! Thanks for sharing this much needed topic!
This Pastor is on the money! Judge a person by there character not by the color of there skin. The woke movement does not teach this and we must stand up against there lies. We must love each other black or White.
I like this honest conversation about this topic! By the way the host of gorgeous. Natural black woman đ
This was absolutely the best, thank you both for having this needed conversation, Im def sharing this with all.
I loved today's guest and your questions, Anthony. I am a Christian who is black but not American. Where I am from, what pastor Ken said has been taught from the pulpit. It was a bit of a wow moment for me to see and hear Christians here being all about the race before anything else.
It wasn't always like that for Black people. We are just tired. And, weary of well- doing.
Doing what God calls you to do triumphs everything! Those who do not have Jesus as Lord of their lives will never understand when we just love people, and not races. Thanks for this timely and very necessary conversation.
Thanks for sharing this podcast!
I know this conversation is uncomfortable on BOTH sides of the conversation. But isn't it time that we had this conversation to work through this issue?
The more we delay this conversation because of this discomfort, the more we can be divided as a people. 9/11 taught us unity in the most cruel way possible. We seem to have strayed from that lesson.
I can't change our history. What I CAN do is raise my children (I did), grandchildren (4), and great-grandchildren (yes, I have 1) to be better people that work toward treating ALL people equally no matter where that person comes from or what color they are.
God answers prayer. And if I don't pray for good things for you, then why would God give good things to me? He wants us to love one another and that starts with each of us - every day that God grants us life.
Thank you for the transparency in this conversation from both of you brothers, I am human that happens to be black and I see how the modern church looks at things from a worldly perspective instead of a Kingdom one, I shared this with a brother of mine in hopes that it bless him and all that watch it, I also loved the explanation of discrimination vs intentionality and how we must be intentional and go outside our comfort zone and reach people that don't look like us and let everyone know that it's not about division but inclusion, thank you so much and God Bless you champions..

Awesome episode!
One race, the HUMAN Race.
Race is a man made construct but culture matters and it is beautiful. Every color in the crayon box has its own inherit beauty that we shouldnât simplify in order to make each other comfortable. We should celebrate our differences while not allowing them to separate us.
Life is beautiful with God, no matter what, all things work together for good
I wish there were more conversations like this.
This guy I met on my maintenance team at fedex said their only one race. He was from JORDAN đŻđŽ. He said we you looking for a job out there you donât put what ya race is. They donât believe in that
Sure go to their Arab country and see for yourself how they treat and view blacks, naive fool
That's my Pastor!
So in being intentional, there were folks who didn't look like me but we bonded over & IN the Word! Unfortunately during the Trump campaign, & Crazy as it sounds, because of a Bible Study that discussed Proverbs 6; They literally not only kept distance, they STOPPED talking to me (ignore me in the office, not returning phone calls or texts, etc.) &
has never been to my home since.
The problem stemmed from verses 12-19.
I was like, WOW! Really?
Unfortunately, your blackness came out. I truly feel that white people will accept you as long as you play things their way. Once you show your authentic blackness they feel betrayed bc they thought you were dirrerent from the "other blacks" if we can't disagree we don't need to be friends. If I can't speak my mind we ain't no friends. If I can't laugh my outlandishly loud belly laugh whether you're black or whatever race we can't be friends.
Iam loving this
So good!
Thank you for this. It is nice to hear such profound words and open up the truth

Thank you. Iâve believed it was spiritual warfare, but because Black people have some role in the final days and satan was working to get rid of us.

God is shaking us. Some are rising to the top, some are falling to the bottom. There are people of all colors in both places. We all have a role.
The reactions of the host (the "oooohs" and all) are hilarious!
Yes
Love . Love...Love... This. We need more of these videos to stop hate the media and evil are doing.
And let me add that if we believe in God then we trust in Christ - that there is a heaven. When we say we Trust in God to do his will, his will may include a safe heaven.
Thank you for this video. There is so much hate in this world - The war of hate from the devil to turn God's sons and sisters against each other
Where is the email listing?
You have a point. It did suck for us.
He's right! God message was simple, If you're of him you are ONE in the body of Christ. That's saying it doesn't matter your color, denomination, what political side you side with, etc. He said we're ONE. Mankind always complicate and segregate things.
Hi Anthony, how do you define racism?
My daughter loves her boyfriend taquerious. I didn't like that boy at first but he took me over to his mom's house and now his mom is my girlfriend. She is such a wholesome woman.
Sitting here irritated WHY?!
Truth hurts?
He said find the person of color who matches that person and the problem is, some people donât care enough to put in that effort
Are they human? What question is that?
I would also specify that satin uses culture more than âraceâ. It goes beyond race, a social construct
Plz explain the point of allowing my inner circle to be a rainbow.
God has no interest in us as we do ourselves- read the memoir Night by a holocaust survivor- but god wants us to do the best we can with our consciousness and thatâs our responsibility to honor the gift of life - to see the value of life beyond the surface of society and culture and all the labels we are taught to deal with. Praise the union of spirit in flesh unto the beyond.
đđŒđđŒâ€
Why do bad things happen to good people? The answer is simple
Hands down best one yet.
I'm getting the book , thank you pastors ! God bless you !
Statistically, there is no difference in negative interactions with police due to race. There is a huge difference do to behavior, attitude and compliance.
I'm having a hard time with this, and I've only listened to the first 5:17. Black people didn't create racism; hence we can't erase it. Forgiving people won't change systemic racism.
Of all the things to highlight during this month pertaining to the history or future of Black folks đ€
I know right đ

@@lakaykes5544 No I don't, which prompted my initial comment.
I donât understand racism at all, Iâve always seen people for who they are then what colour they are.. if someone is a good person, but itâs same goes as with if they are bad.. no matter the race.. we all were born on earth, doesnât matter where, or what beliefs, colour you are. Enlighten us.
That's not the true definition. So the history on the definition. What youre referring to wasn't presented until roughly 1970.
The Webster dictionary didn't include such a reference until relatively recently. You can actually type in a year and a wors and it'll show you decade by decade how/when definitions change.
@@justmemrb Racism is a social construction devised to help a specific set of people or race like classism. Black people do not benefit from set social construction which affects all organizations churches, hospitals, schools, banks, etc that have been beneficial for years to a certain race in which continues today in America, and abroad. So, nope a black persons cant be racist! A bigot or prejudice based off of their worldly experience in a racist world, YES!
More white pastors need to be talking about this, but they stay quiet.
Here we go blaming white people again.....sort out your own house first.
Until God comes, our world will be full of evil doers. Racism canât be stop is part of our world now and it will go on forever and forever. I canât wait till Jesus comes for us to go home.
