Could you guys do a video on the Brusilov Offensive during WW1? It was a very important offensive during the war that’s largely uncovered on CZcams, and I really think it would make for a very interesting video especially with your narration and style
It didn't really change much strategically, I'd rather see ww1 from the serbian perspective
I second this
@@austinnichols8671 serbian and the macedonian front with Greece joining the war in 1917
@@austinnichols8671 i personally want to see ww1 from bulgarian perspective, but your idea is very interesting too.
@@austinnichols8671 it did in a way, because of the brusilov offensive the germans had to pull back troops from verdun during the most critical time of the battle to help austria-hungary on the eastern front, and that arguably had cost them the battle of verdun.
It's astonishing how well the Italians performed when under the command of literally anyone other than Italians.
??? What do you mean???
@@francescocecchetto6717 Italian generals were shite
@@francescocecchetto6717the Italian chain of command in WW2 was notoriously incompetent even Rommel said the Italian soldiers were brave but the commanders were morons
The Commando Supremo didn’t cover itself in glory
While the Nazi regime maintained a high level of meritocracy in the military, the Fascist regime produced an officer corps that was mostly made of career officers who were more amicable to the regime and who were better at handling the politics of the military. It had been a problem since the unification really.
I can’t believe the armchair historian finally sits in an armchair after all of this time. This is a historical moment
Being pedantic here, the word you're looking for is "historic", which denotes an occasion worthy of being recorded in history.
As opposed to historical, which is just something that happened in the past.

I love how the armchair historian has slowly gotten more comical over the years.
trueee. the thumbnail is hilarious 😂
It still amazes me how you put more quality to your videos than most high budget movies and shows.
or simple history ooooooh 💀

Raid shadow legends is an appalling game and their practices are shady at best. They pay their CZcams promoters well though. They also have a bit from their patreon and their recent game release, although I can't imagine they got much out of that. Fun little game though.
On the other side, they are dedicated and passionate historians and have an audience, that expects and appreciates historical accuracy, digging deep into topics combined with a picturesque, entertaining presentation. I think this is a big motivation to produce great content attached with a positive feedback loop. Can't go wrong with that. This and the stable revenue stream is enough to topple any mainstream content in quality.
Clearly these videos are made by...
....Aliens!
that's the difference between a passion and a paycheck!
Loving the Tom & Jerry thumbnail reference! 🤌🏻😂
You guys are getting creative with their thumbnails, and I LOVE IT!
Edit: Thank you to all who liked my comment!😅
Aah a good ol’ throwback to the days of Tom and Jerry.
They've developed a real taste for working meme templates into their videos, and it does work pretty well! 😂

When the end was nigh, the germans didnt use proper winter gear.
I feel like some people took a joke too seriously
Or proper winter bullets
They ran out of oil, which only happened because the tommy (SAS) defeated the wehrmacht back and forth around African oil fields. No oil, no tanks
Too bad
Their logistics also collasped even more during the winter
@@54032Zepol nah, how about proper winter armored vehicles
Your videos keep getting better and better you guys make history cool! One thing though Halder was responsible for operation Barbarossa. In fact, Paulus told Halder in Dec 1940 that Germany could not succeed on the Eastern Front. Yet, Halder proceeded with the invasion
But but it was the madman Bohemian Corporal.
Thank you Griffin, and the Armchair History team for another fantastic and informative video!
Could you make a Video about the Philippines in ww2, i rarely see any documentaries about it and i think the people should know their story!
I second this. The only documentary i saw was locally made where they interviewed the veterans that were there at the Fall of Bataan and Corregidor and participated in the Death March. I think it was narrated by Joel Torre
I love how you use memes and references from movies in your videos and thumbnails.
I am so impress on the team of the armchair historian can make such a good and pefact animation within a week, and I loved it.
Damn, everytime that I watch a video of you guys I can not get but more impressed to the great amount of work you are putting into this channel, keep up with that guys and hope that you achieve your goals!

This channel is just excellent! Fantastic content and great narration Sir!
amazing work as always griff and team
Great narration , was waiting for the perfect time to watch this.
Thank you.
I know you guys probably already have a schedule, but you guys should do a video about the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. I think you guys could do a great video about how that went down.
That German soldier in the knights suit of armor but with a stalheim was amazing lmao
That thumbnail is perfect
Thumbnail reminds me a lot of Oversimplified's gag with Hitler shooting a mirror with a toy gun and the dart bouncing back and hitting him progressively higher and higher up until Berlin finally fell
Or Hitler kicks a door only to find more doors to kick and eventually hurts his leg at Stalingrad
@@aslamnurfikri7640And the door hits him in the face at Kursk
The thumbnails are just getting better and better.
My favorite part about the thumbnail is that it reminds me of when the germans tried to make a rifle with a curved barrel that could shoot around corners. Unsurprisingly, it didn't work.
Hmm, maybe a weaponized laser gun with a mirror at the barrel curve?
“I was saving the planet from an Axis of Darkness, while you were back home opening National Parks! Yes!” Winston Churchill
“You were born asthmatic, your going to choke hard, while I wake up everyday and chain smoke cigars!”
I AM AAAAADOLF HITLA! COMMANDER OF THE THIRD REICH
That's why USA made Hollywood, so as to take credit for the British victory and thus downplay British involvement by exaggerating British defeats. Kinda like they also don't like talking about the fact Britain improved their Sherman to a Firefly 17" lol
