Your videos makes me feel like going back for a vacation....Can you tell me where do they come up with all these new fancy names for the durians. Your family seems to enjoy eating durians...Only my wife and I eats the frozen durian and my kid don't like the smell. She was born here so not exposed to much durians.

They started creating new durians years ago and had competitions every year for best durian! I am not sure how they came up with the names but they are probably related to the farm or person who created the new breed. Where do you live? Out of my 3 kids, only my middle child likes it, the other 2 are not very interested.

But now the fruits are still rare and very expensive, just be prepared. 😂😓😓 Better to wait around June, it will be more abundant!

Hi, maybe you can check with the agricultural ministry in Nepal if you can import durian seedlings. You can buy the plants in Malaysia. I believe northern Australia now has successfully planted durians in their country. It is best planted on hilly areas on slopes. The trees take about 10 years to bear fruit, usually farmers grow other plants like bananas and papaya beside the durians because durian trees only bear fruit once a year for about 2 months.

Hi Rena, this is the location of the farm on Google Maps: goo.gl/maps/LQXbRQeV97aVgmCL7
I did ask the owner if they were going to open for commercial business this year but he said no. But I think if you drop by and purchase some directly for your own consumption it might be OK. Good luck! :)
