For those who don't know, Nismo 350z's were different all around. NOT just the rarity. These 1,613 Z's were taken off the assembly line and sent to Autech. Nismo 350z chassis are all hand stitch welded, exhaust is different, suspension is multilink and stiffer, they come with brembos, more chassis rigidity, nismo numbering badge, nismo gauge cluster, red inserts on the cloth seats, red sitching on the doorcards, as well as the obvious wheels and bodykit.
Another pro to the HR over the Nismo is the amount of stylistic freedom you get when it comes to customization, considering it’s kinda sacrilege to do away with the Nismo kit on a Nismo

Had a 313 HR UK spec so comes with Brembo's. Miss that car so much I'm actually contemplating buying another one. Really good on twisty roads fantastic all rounder and you can push 28mpg on a motorway/highway as well. I did have a few issues with the 350z when I owned mine however all these are easily fixed with mods. 1. I wasn't impressed with the gear shifts at all on them despite what you say here, I found them to be quite clunky, 1st Gear was always a bit jerky at low speeds and you'd hear the flywheel chirp away, 1st to 2nd was always a bit of a mission to find unless you gave the car some rev's (This can be solved by fitting a single mass flywheel and getting rid of the duel mass flywheel, also allows the engine to rev more smoothly) 2. The car can be very unpredictable in tight corners or fast corners, the car would feel like it want's to understeer into the corner and the next thing the car would try and swap ends and head into an oversteer so you ended up having to guess what the car was going to do (also a reason why I loved the car it's very on the edge) you can fix this by fitting Michelin PSS's they seem to really benefit from dropping the manufacturer spec Bridgestone's, also worth getting a good laser alignment done for a fast road set up. Mine was night and day after this. Nice review, I think 350z are just one of those car's that you don't expect too much out of them until you actually drive one and then its just an addiction.

Full blast AC on at hot idle is not awesome for this HR. The blank spot on this Base or Enthusiast model sure is used for the Nismo plate, but neither these nor the Nismo have heated leather seats -- that's exactly where the driver & passenger heated seat buttons are in Touring+ models.

I may be mistaken on this so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but the CD00A is the same as the CD009 it's just a OEM part being made with a new part number. The HRs in the 350s and 370s got a similar transmission but with a different part number and that's the one with the internal slave cylinder.
