- I had preordered both the Capcom and Taito Super Pockets from Blaze Entertainment... or was it Hyper Mega Tech? Either way, they both arrived so I wanted to take a look at them, test them out and do some comparisons.

I just bought the Taito version with my Christmas money and I'm pretty impressed. I really they do at least one Taito cart with Super Space Invaders, Rainbow Islands and Parasol Stars on it. Preferably in the lovely green colour so that it matches the Super Pocket.
I got the Taito one and I like playing Atari games on it
One thing I have noticed with US CZcamsrs is they seems refer to Handheld consoles as though they are not consoles, just home consoles.
Great video as always and love your style with changing the cart inserts over. I'd totally do that if I had both super pockets :-) Keep up the awesome work!
I agree I’m very impressed with the Super Pocket, thanks for the review etc
Good review, Crow. Thanks for the video.
Nice, this is the first video I've seen someone pronounce Kage correctly!
I still want to call it the Legend of Cage sometimes though.
Greta video my friend! Looking forward to the tare down of this device.
Took me so long to respond to this comment that I already did that.
@@CrowContinuum 🤣
Kiki Kaikai is Pocky & Rocky!
I didn't realize this was such an unknown thing until I started watching Super Pocket reviews and nobody knew what it was. Pocky & Rocky is the direct sequel to Kiki Kaikai! It even describes the events of Kiki Kaikai in the opening story sequence. Excellent game.
!!!SPOILER WARNING!!!
Rocky is the final boss of Kiki Kaikai! Pocky & Rocky is a teamup of the hero and villain from the first game. SO COOL!
Yes! I kind of realized it was a prequel after I started playing it for a little bit.
The size comparison to use is Game Boy Pocket. They're virtually identical in every dimension.
I only compared it to what I had on hand.
I recently got a Miyoo Mini Plus, but I do have quite an extensive Evercade collection. I got the original handheld and VS, skipped the EXP. You think this is worth it just for the indie evercade carts?
Maybe if you want to play them portably. To date there are only 2 games that can only be played on Evercade.
Insta buy if it was 3.5 screen... i am older and after 20+ years in IT my eyes are shot. Maybe if I wore readers I could get away with it.
Pinch the left side back to front. That made my light bleed go away.
I got mine today. But there are many of noticeable dust inside of the screen. Do you have this issue? thank you.
If only there were some way to… link them together… to allow… TWO PLAYER co-operative action… by Jove, I think I've got it! I think… I think… I'VE INVENTED THE LINK CABLE!
Don't think it would be possible since there's no link cable port. And I wouldn't count it being possible with the USB-C on the bottom since that only looks to be wired for power.
I mean... you could put on your eye patch, get a $90 device that has over 5000 games from Atari 2600 through PS1.... or you could buy a device for $60 with 12 games on it. Capcom has gotten enough of my cash over the last 30 years. Emulatuon for me thx
I'm doing both. Actually just bought a mini PC specifically to cram as many games on it that I can. I buy the Evercade stuff just to feed the collector in me.
@@CrowContinuum i hear ya. I collect also but mostly things I think will be worth a lot down the road or are really rare. I just think that these cheap corporations can do much, much better than 12 30 year old games on a device in 2023. Im old. I actually bought these games in the late 80s and early 90s for full price. As a consumer, I demand deep value for my dollar now.
Soooo... its a super POCKET, buuuut you didnt compare its size to a gameboy POCKET?!? 🤔🤔🤔i could be wrong, but i feel like POCKET was what they were goun for soooo....
Don't have a Game Boy Pocket. I compared it with what I had.
Dude, edit or get to the point.
