Best And Worst Salt To Buy
Why Salt is Needed by the Body
Electrolyte Balance: Sodium, a primary component of salt, is an essential electrolyte that helps maintain fluid balance in and out of cells, which is crucial for proper cellular function.
Nerve Function: Sodium ions play a key role in the transmission of nerve impulses. Without sufficient sodium, nerve signaling can be impaired.
Muscle Function: Both sodium and chloride are vital for muscle contraction. An imbalance can lead to muscle cramps or spasms.
Hydration: Sodium helps regulate the body’s hydration levels by maintaining the balance of fluids in the body.
Blood Pressure Regulation: While excessive salt intake can lead to high blood pressure, adequate sodium is necessary to maintain proper blood pressure levels.
Nutrient Absorption: Sodium assists in the absorption of certain nutrients in the small intestine, including glucose, amino acids, and water.
    Refined Vs. Unrefined Salt
    Refined Salt:
Processing: Refined salt, commonly known as table salt, undergoes extensive processing. It is mined from underground salt deposits and then refined to remove impurities and trace minerals.
Additives: Often, anti-caking agents are added to prevent clumping, and it may also be iodized to help prevent iodine deficiency.
Appearance: It is usually white and has a fine, uniform texture.
Nutrient Content: Contains primarily sodium chloride with minimal trace minerals.
    Unrefined Salt:
Processing: Unrefined salt, such as sea salt, Himalayan pink salt, or Celtic sea salt, is harvested through natural methods like evaporation of seawater. It undergoes minimal processing.
Additives: It typically contains no additives or preservatives.
Appearance: It can vary in color and texture, often retaining natural minerals that give it a coarser texture and a range of colors, from gray to pink.
Nutrient Content: Contains a variety of trace minerals, such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, and iron, which can contribute to its flavor and color.

There's a ton wrong with healthcare in the U.S., but socialized medicine won't fix our problems. It will just substitute new ones.

Thanks for having him on ♡ Would appreciate a show addressing the effects of increased refined / processed carbs like high BP, diabetes, and NAFL (non alcoholic fatty liver disease). Three serious health conditions to an avoidable but highly detrimental response. Even Alzheimers is now referred to as Type 3 Diabetes. Meanwhile, salt (unrefined) gets blamed as the fall guy.

It isn't the salt it is the sugar.
      Carbohydrates=carbon.
      Carbon resists electrical current.
Salt is a mineral that facilitates electrical current.
The body will hold on to more salt to help overcome carbon resistance.
Because we are bodies run by electrical impulses especially the heart.
Without adequate salt your heart's electric impulses are messed up.
Cut the carbs for heart issues and your body won't have excess salt and the heart will have improved electrical impulses.

Man says they are “ impurities “ that’s because man is NOT God and really doesn’t understand the human body nor it’s needs! They think they do, but look at history “ this or that is the worst thing for you” then a few years later “ it’s wonderful to eat” they do not know what they are doing , follow the money! Eat as close to how God made it then you will do well.

Pretty much everything natural has aluminum in it. Taking aluminum orally is different than injecting it. I’ve tested all three unrefined salts Redmond Celtic brand Salinas and Himalayan salt. Selina’s Celtic salt came up with the best mineral content and the least metals- grocery store refined solved, has aluminum in the form of aluminum silicate. It also has ferris cyanide a few other lovely things. All and all unrefined Salt is a much much better choice.

Hi, I'm new to your channel. Great insights on salt, minerals. I would like to know how to put into my water, how much , I heard him say 1/4 teaspoon a day. Spread it out a course throughout the day with much water. Do you put the 1/4 straight into a quarter of water. Please explain. Thanks

Only thing i picked up on was at 21.22 he said his tests showed “no toxic ingredients at high levels” that sounds to me like there are toxic ingredients at what he considers low enough that it doesn’t concern him although hearing these words does concern me enough not to buy the Himalayan salt. Great information and I will order my Celtic salt today

@thebiblicalnutritionist Selina Pink salt gets its pink colors from the liners on the bottom, just like it's grey because of those liners.

Great episode… I use Redmonds real salt… I really like it. Annette Reeder, have you ever done a video on Tourette’s? What is really the cause and is there any foods that truly help minimize it. This Holistic Doctor is wonderful, I’m actually looking into one for Tourette’s, but more so to see what’s going on. I do pray, every day, and I truly know God can heal me, been praying for years, have others praying, and still I go through this. It’s been a struggle since the age of 13/14 years of age and I’m now 62. So I want to find answers, I pray God leads me to them.

Best flavored salt in my opinion. Carnivore here who eats a lot of salt. Baja gold is my favorite, but for convenience, I use Redmond’s fine ground which can be used in a convenient shaker. Baja Gold is more coarse and if I don’t grind it up we’ll with a mortar and pestle, it feels like I might chip a tooth. It feels like very small pebbles that are very hard. The mineral content is also very impressive for Baja Gold.

Is Redmonds salt good for IIH (idiopathic intercranial hypertension)?

  • @Fliegermann777
    @Fliegermann777 Před 24 dny

I have had idiopathic hyponatremia (low blood sodium, cause unknown) for 30 years. I'm 65 now. When in my 20s-40s I was running 5-10 km 3 X weekly in the Texas heat, but stopped when I collapsed at work one day in my 40s. Thought I was having a heart attack. ER tests showed cause was dangerously low blood sodium levels, around 117 I believe. My new family doctor then told me to start salting my food (and stop running in hot weather.) Was healthy otherwise. Subsequent tests never determined the cause of the chronic hyponatremia, but my sodium levels rose to the normal range after I started adding salt to my diet. Still on the low end of normal each annual blood test, around 132, but better than the prior subnormal, dangerously low average of 126-128 many years ago.

I keep 25 lbs of Redmond's Salt in a 'Vault'. I am confident that Redmond's is the real deal and comes from home. While Himalayan salt comes from thousands of miles away and can be counterfeited. I go the path of least resistance. I also use RRSalt to make my own tooth powder. It's just easier then doubting what I am brushing my teeth with. Salt, baking soda, peppermint essential oil and sometimes stevia.

To save money, I bought a 30 pound bag of "Trophy Rock Four65 All-Natural Deer Mineral Supplement" from Tractor Supply Company for $15 because it is basically the same salt as the higher priced Redmond salt marketed to people. Seriously, it is the same thing.
