Just for info, in the future, there will be a new equipment enhancement system seperate from the current enhancement system called the imprint system. This system allows you to enhance your weapon by scarificing a 6star weapon of the same element which helps to further increase your weapon attacks or elemental attacks. The 6 star weapon can be from a normal 3star upgraded to 6 star as well. So it will be wise not to salvage your 3star weapon which has already been upgraded to 6 star.
if by chance you have more info about that, if for example i have 10awaken 3star weapon upgraded to 6star, will the awaken value make a difference when sacrificed?
at first I was doing mono element weapons per element, I kinda regret it but also not, since like you said I can dismantle it into triangles , in my case it was awakening +10 so it would give me 7 triangles, but I still haven't done it since I heard there was a new system called imprinting that will require 6 star gears which you can potentially use 3 star gears turned 6 star, also since I 6 starred my 3 star elemental weapons I got 1 enhancement squares for each element, considering that shit is so painful to get, it was so worth it. the only thing I regretted was I enhanced my 3 star fire weapon to +10 I should have not done that and instead exchange it for triangles in the medal shop.
One other thing to note is that the weapon awakening effect. Fore fire/water/earth, they work for all builds. For 4* fire and earth weapon at awakening 10, they give respectively 30% basic attack dmg and 30% basic skill dmg which in my opinion are far better than 3* max weapon (elemental atk +10%).
It's ok to save it for the upcoming imprint leveling I saw in Korean version you imprint a 6* with another 6* so use the 3*(6*) to upgrade your 4*(6*).
Imprinting is just a use for extra upgrade stones and varnishes. Saving a 3* that you didn't fully upgrade to 6* for 10 months isn't going to change the power level of your character.

I think the best set will always be 4*rare milky+cronos (whale) , 4*normal 4*rare + milky/cronos/4*normal fire (dolpin) 4*normal 3 set with highest status (f2p)

I haven't seen any confirmation of this, and at awakening 0 not interested in losing crit dmg+20 and ACC+5%. If this is true though pretty important when it is actually awakened. 10% tho I sleep. XD
for destroyer and enginer 3* weapons stay for a very long time as they dont have any special skill damage in pvp and we get a system in the future for that we need a lot of 3 and 4* gear at 6* so never salvage anything
@@buzzrot get your alts to 40 and dont waste space on 1 and 2* gems. even 3* gems you dont need many as you get a lot of 4* gems in the story.and if this is not enough then get the 100 slots that you can get with medals. and if even that is not enough you can get slots for diamonds. at start it is not easy but you have enough ways to get more inventory space
Eventually you will want rare light and dark 4 star for pvp and if your a whale then the second rare dark from Asterite. If your f2p then you will probably not get the asterite rare dark weapon for a long time so you should use regular 4 star earth until then. Basic attack damage is not that relevant in current pvp. Its all about that basic skill burst.
I agree 3* should not be focus. But from the perspective of a 24/7 f2p player: I do not own a single rare+ weapon. My 4*s are awakened at 9,3,2,0,0 So for me, the awaken 10 3* weapons are atm by FAR better than my awaken 0-2 4* alternatives, especially off-element. We're talking around 1000 elemental Atk here. I don't think a0 or a1 passives will outmatch this. I'm at around 600k cp and can deal 13% to genie hard T2 with my fire deck which uses draggle as well as a10 3* hammer. Also up to 5*, the 3*s are pretty cheap to level up. I did not upgrade them past 4*
at your cp this is not a suprise but when you get your 4* weapons close to awakened 10 they are not that good and when you start to curse your weapons 3* has no chance
not worth it man. 4* weapons are easily acquirable even if you're a casual gamer that just afks. I'd rather be patient than get strong quick and lose out on materials for my 4* upgrades.
Glad you guys managed to get so many waepons without gacha! I told you mine with gacha xD. For me stats-wise this is for now better, but I most likely won't upgrade them higher than 4* as the upgrade and enhancement stones are way too valuable for them. But awakening and getting to max level is definitely worth it imho. Although VERY expensive Gold wise. Better be farming 24/7. usually people with higher cp than me have lower contribution (in every content, every deck uses a10 3* and familiars that actually deal damage on fierld - soon will post sth on that), so Im happier atm with my current maxmax gear xD Im crafting every bit I have and soon I will be at your state and may finally put my 3*s to rest. Not that I expect global version to survive long enough, but there is going to be a new upgrade system that boosts tf out of element atk on weapons to make mono gear the best potentially. Problem is it would take years to max upgrade them anyway

@@DoctorDiggs Depends on your class. Chronos even unawakend is amazing on a destroyer because of stacking with our atk speed buff from frenzy charge. Since my frenzy is maxed that's 22.5% atk speed up combined. It only gets more rediculous once I get some awakenings. I know you main rogue but it's important when giving advise to consider that the mechanics of all the classes are not the same snd certain buffs or debuffs are more highly valued.
the bonus stats from the 4* armor is not good enough. you have no skill in pvp and in pve you never need it so if you dont have celestial armor 3* is better. this is only for armor

I use standart 4*s (fire,earth,water) in pretty much all my decks, if I have to swap out a weapon it will be the water because it's adds to special skills which have long cd so I think it has less advantage than fire and earth
I use rare+ only in PvE situations. So for example I have rare+ Earth bow. I run Rare+ Earth, Earth 4*, Fire4* :: Only exception would be if I had milky way. Then I would slot that in over Earth 4*
Its good yes, but when you reach a point where you are cursing your gear and getting +500-1000 ATK/Curse it will quickly outweigh that 10%. Also 4* gear gives crit dmg+ and ACC+ which helps compete with that.
It's +10% elemental attack and not increased damage. At higher CP levels your elemental attack only makes up 20% or less of your total attack. 10% of 20% is only a 2% dmg increase and the lost stats from using a 3* and worse awakening feats make the overall total damage lower with a fully build 3* compared to 4*'s

Surprised you didn't talk about how chronos plus milky way is always bis for any pvp content, and really you end up always using chronos in every build even for pve, if you have chronos or milky way I suggest taking thosw up to +21 then to +40. My biggest thing is , which spear should I pick to take to +31, guardians or divine, my strongest team is by far fire , but I really care about pvp and pvp I feel like divine is the one to focus. Regardless of your best famliars because skill damage just soo much better for pvp.

So, yea, DON'T upgrade your 3* equipment unless you have just started to play and are low level, but don't upgrade too much your 3* gear because you'll need every single material resources to upgrade your 4* when you get. Also, I would extend the advise of the video to armoury and accessories as well, the meta from any gear category is 4*, maybe the only gear that maybe is worth it to curse is the chest piece, everything else you will be using 4*.
It's a shame that one of the first videos from the official game's channel induces the player to create a mono build because it claims that you will but getting higher dmg from doing so, which is false... I myself was heavily upgrading my 3* weapons because I thought I would be using 3*, 4* and 4* rare weapons of the same element in a build, I thought this way for more than a month.
I think you're 100% correct for pvp content. Then again when it comes to pve farming and boss killing, I wouldn't quite throw those 3 stars away( unless you are whaling on the rare 4star dark and light). The real question to ask is, how are % element damage increases calculated? There is lots math and data to be tested for all stages of the game, p2w level, and future content still not 100% known. So don't pity voke people to throw their 3 stars away. Just don't focus them right now...
I talked about this with another viewer on discord. In CN there is some tentative data that 1 element attack is equivelant to 1.2 regular ATK. Also it is important to consider that in global we have a curse system that is MUCH easier than KR. So we lean much more heavier on ATK stat than KR does.
Hum to add in this discussion, you should consider pets and accessories also, that have status like x% element attack. These make a lot of difference in mini element builds, it's not only weapons
I think you're 100% wrong. 10% elemental attack is only a 2-3% dmg increase for my F2P character and gets lower the higher CP gets. The extra accuracy and crit dmg on awakened 4*'s almost makes up for missing elemental attack and then you have skill or basic attack damage and increased stats and Dark magic not providing any elemental attack after 21.

Water weapon doesn't really work well for some classes that have debuffs/buff/heals specials skills that don't actually deal any damage.

I definitely got use out of my 3* in the beginning and do think as a starting player its worth it. However long-term will be 4* weapons.

From testing done on CN, and again this is not conclusive. 1 Elemental attack = 1.2 regular attack. Again not conclusive.

Im a f2p as well. And has awakened my 4s pretty easily. Upgrading those 3s is wasting your upgrade stones.
Please do not fully invest in your 3star weapons, i have gotten my non-rare 4 stars weapons to awaken 10/9/8/6/5 just by crafting (no gacha)

For now you may want to keep and focus on your 4*'s. Especially with ascension to weapons coming soon you will need those 3* 6 Star.

I would not. It will still outperform chronos vs dark monsters. Unfortunately it feels like Chronos unless awakened is kinda useless.

The rank 1 in my server has a 3* armour because of the damage reduction.

4* Rare are only worth investing in for PvE or if you get the dark 4* that is the most important weapon in the game.

If you're an engineer then you should stick with your 3* helm since it maximises your potential as a support class because it boosts your heal

The real question to ask is, how are % element damage increases calculated? There is lots math and data to be tested for all stages of the game, p2w level, and future content still not 100% known. So don't pity voke people to throw their 3 stars away. Just don't focus them right now...

I talked about this with another viewer on discord. In CN there is some tentative data that 1 element attack is equivelant to 1.2 regular ATK. Also it is important to consider that in global we have a curse system that is MUCH easier than KR. So we lean much more heavier on ATK stat than KR does.
Hum to add in this discussion, you should consider pets and accessories also, that have status like x% element attack. These make a lot of difference in mini element builds, it's not only weapons
I think you're 100% wrong. 10% elemental attack is only a 2-3% dmg increase for my F2P character and gets lower the higher CP gets.
The extra accuracy and crit dmg on awakened 4*'s almost makes up for missing elemental attack and then you have skill or basic attack damage and increased stats and Dark magic not providing any elemental attack after 21.

Running rare 4* is for PvE exclusively and yes I do believe it is good to stack with standard 4*
