These types of kids were the norm when I was graduating. It's probably true of most time periods; when we're young we're very idealistic and then life wears you down/takes up your time and you become a realist and start to see through all the BS. I went to a liberal college in a liberal area in a liberal state. By the end of my program I was so sick of the one sided and political manner in which my major classes were taught. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Isn't it hilarious when a white guy calls other white guys racist, and insists that black people are oppressed - and then a black guy comes in and is like, "Stop it! I've done everything I wanted to!" and shuts him up? It's amazing. The kids don't realize that by telling black people they're oppressed, it's instilling lack of confidence rather than what that African American fellow seemed to have: Real Confidence!

I was told there are two kinds of smarts. Book smart and street smart. Book smart is what you get through education. You learn facts and figures. You learn logic and theory. You learn how to think constructively. Supposedly. Street smart is what you get through experience and practical application. Learning how to read people. How to negotiate and to compromise. How to build trust and work with people even when you don’t always agree with them for the good of the company and community. I have met a great many highly educated people that are especially ignorant about finances. Especially educators, they spew theories they don’t have any experience in real life.
My wife received a BA from Liberty university in political science. I am a 2 year college dropout, but I’ve read voraciously for years. I know 10 times as much as her about world politics. She’s involved in local politics, and I have to write her speeches for her. As an addendum: smartest guy I’ve ever known was an electronics teacher I had in trade school.

To be fair, the college student is halfway decently attractive, didn't act emotionally (crying and yelling), and spoke confidently (despite being ignorant & wrong). He most likely will make it in life if he has the correct work ethic and wits.. can't fully say based on this video alone. We found just a few based on gpa and service to community.. they were not even allowed to fill out an applications for the majority of them , they didn’t meet the “criteria.”

Absolutely, college isn’t worth anything unless you take advantage of your situation. I went to UC Berkeley and majored in Psychology and I only learned to fail. Left art school for higher education and it was the worst mistake I’ve ever made
