We start the drive in Altdorf and drive east through the Schächen Valley (German: Schächental) before we cross the top of the Klausen Mountain Pass at an elevation of 1,952 meters. at 14:58, I had to stop and just admire that view of the mountain, beautiful sunshine on the emerald grass, and that house... this is like a painting. It is incredible, the Alps is just a wonder to start with, but that here is the proof why.

The cliff side drive Unterschächen absolutely fantastic sight but personally I'd find it terrifying to drive but I appreciate the video.

Very much a motor road possibly from the early 20th century. In places the original foot, horse, pack animal track can be seen in the valley below in places. The concrete retaining wall is of a specific and 19th century design. often seen in 19th century railway structures. Design would have been for small trucks to get up the hills and round the bends. Possible late 20th century update to widen the road for more modern traffic. Possible military intent (Swiss alpine redoubt)

Well, I've posted on your videos about my upcoming around the world trip, that has now been cancelled because of one short wimpy coward hiding in a bunker from his own people now. (hint, not Zelinsky) So, now these are helping me rework my "retirement" trip to a more European focus...assuming the same ass doesn't cuck that up. Freaking pity, I follow a lot of Russians because of the goofy bike I choose to ride, and now, the possibility of riding by and actually seeing them and their beautiful country has been destroyed...sigh...at least no one is dropping missiles and bombs on me...
