  • Our Community Spotlight for June 2022 features 4 amazing projects completed by TRFT Discord members. At first sight, it looks like they are fairly homogeneous, because all of them are models of real-world military vehicles...but nothing could be further from the truth!
    The video features:
    1. A 1/56 scale Bolt Action T-34 painted in Lebanese colors.
    2. A 1/56 scale Bolt Action T-34 painted in DAK colors.
    3. A 1/35 scale T-55 tank painted in Syrian colors.
    4. A 1/35 scale T-55 tank painted in Afghan colors.
If you are into weathering, and you want to see some current examples of the best our growing and dedicated community has to offer, this video is for you!

Thanks for the stage Enrique! And compliments to the Rick and Nick for making some terrific models. Always leave me inspired and I'd wish I could turn out models as fast as I could paint individual marines to keep up with the ideas!

My pleasure, and I’m sure your projects can serve as inspiration to others!

I'd forgotten how good the grubby dozer blade looked on Stephan's T-55 and the worn out DAK scheme on Nik's T-34 is just terrific.
    Thanks Enrique, always appreciated mate.

There is something nice about seeing hobby work again after a long time; like giving a kid the same present a year later that he lost somewhere along the year and forgot about haha

@@Krullio Indeed - in fact, I think it's a very good thing as a modeller. I think most of us tend to churn out models but never look back; by looking critically at models you've painted before, not only do you get that sense of satisafaction ("I made that!"), but you can also improve by comparing and contrasting different projects.

Thanks, Brian, but I am a mere curator in this case! 😉

I mainly build Bolt Action kits but trying my hand at some sci-fi models. The community models looks great.

Oh, a Bolt Action fan! I have two Bolt Action tanks primed and neglected in my stash, and many more not even built...would you fancy a video on one? 😉

@@TheRaceForTerra that would be great, would love to see your take on some BA tanks. I have an Afrika Korps army which heavily mechanised & an US Airborne army which is mostly infantry.
