I’d choose grey. Any
Color that is bright pigment could be used with grey. Whites for whites or lights. And clear for sanding through to see wood.

I just tried the new bonding boss, and the texture is very rough. Do I sand before paint?

I’m using bonding boss on a table I have sanded and filled nicks and scratches with white Dixie belle mud and those spots are looking yellowed through the white bonding boss. I’m wondering what’s wrong. Your thoughts?

Could be the mud is pulling the tannins being water based. Did you apply the boss over the Mud? Might just need an extra coat of boss where you filled is all. Hope that helps!

In this video I use chalk mineral paint. It’s a water based paint. I don’t see why not? You could reach out to the company to find out.

Can I use the clear under a light color or do I have to use the white

You will use less paint if you use the white. But clear works well too.
