Thanks for the clip. I didn't know ridgid wheels worked on these!
Yeah and alot easier to buy from plumbing wholesaler than tool retailers
Definitely take the battery out before touching the mechanism, it will chew up your finger if the trigger gets pressed by mistake😢
Your absolutely correct a bit of hindsight on this old video
Yep I can confirm as I have got my finger chewed because I had my hand on the top part and bumped the button. Probably one of my worst cuts on the job.
Take the battery out of it before start. Seen a guy mess his finger up. Cheers
Good thinking mate
How donyou replac the washers mine came out as cutting
The rollers ? You'll have to contact Milwaukee for a parts listing I think mate
Ty so much sir. You helped me a lot. By the way the mini ridgid cutting wheel is easier to pinpoint then the serial number you were refering to. But either or would work
its not reverse mode, its the mode where the jaws calibrate to the size of pipe to be cut. its the jaws adjustment mode
That's true. Unlocks the blade adjustment
Do you place any grease in the jaws to make it run smooth
Wd40 or similar works fine try keep them out of the dirt and sand
can the m12pc cut stainless tube?i have watched some videos of cutting stainless pipe
I think they are only for copper
The normal sized ridgid pipe cutter wheel is too thick
i broke the c clip. any suggestions? replacement part size etc
Sorry mate no idea. Maybe take it to a supply shop and see if they can snap one in for you?
NUMB NUTS DOESN'T KNOW HOW,WHY IS HE SHOWING US,HE SHOULD TEACH THE BLIND.
dmanbigd1
You are absolutely right
Do me an amazing favor... Find a carbide blade and see if it will fit and be able to cut stainless steel tubing lol ov elooked everywhere and can't find any Info or demos. I deal. With 1/4",3/8" & 1/2" capillary tubing and it would be amazing if I could get this to cut it
That would be awesome for copper too as the break easy
We use cutting wheels to cut stainless (2.5" to 8" sch 10) as well they are hardened as cutting wheels. I believe they made a new version of the tool to cut conduit pipe/copper available in europe
That blade seems very slow to cut. My original blade that has made over 1000 cuts takes about 15 revolutions to cut the same 1/2" copper L tubing. Does the Ridgid blade seem more dull than stock blades to you? Good Video, I'm just curious
Yeah I think your right it was faster when it was new
@@Oneupthesleevecustoms Thanks for the response. They are great tools! Keep up the good work on CZcams!
@@michaelwadsworth4170 thanks
Is there a wheel that is slightly larger?
It takes the ridged tube cutter wheels
Doing it with the battery in. Brave man. Coming from someone who’s pinger did get caught. Not nice!
I imagine it has heaps of torque hope it didnt mess ya hands up much
Got my finger caught in it before too. Still have nerve damage in said finger
Dam thats crazy
Normal cutter cuts faster and it doesn't cost much , I got one of these string in my box , it cost 200 to change a blade
12$ for a blade....
You sure those blades are right? My cutter does 15mm in 1.5 secs
I think my self adjust spring must be getting weak
@@Oneupthesleevecustoms Must be, if it cuts 22 and 28 faster. To be frank I never use mine for 15. But can't do without it anymore for the bigger stuff!
Yeah its magic doing 1 inch for fire service copper work main reason i brought it
I just bought MILWAUKEE C12PC-201C and it dosent cut 21mm coper at all and i bought 2 sets so both machines don't cut at all 14mm yes but 21 no
That took waaay longer then mine to cut
some pipe it rips through others can be slow
You are meikyng my sol hapy
Hope it helps mate
Yes it helpt
What a pain in the ass. I think I'll just buy another cutter.
Yeah not super user friendly
I find a better way to get it done 🤫
It's a little hard to understand
It's not designed smart enough by Milwaukee for , I believe the want you to not change the blade and go buy a new one
Mine died first time it got a little wet recently. Damn shame
That sucks mate. We use heaps of pex now so I don't use this much other than scrapping pipe in the shed
