  • The Sony A9III is already blazing fast in every possible way, but there is a slight advantage to be gained by making the lag time even shorter than the out of box setting. This video walks you through the menus to make the A9III even faster at getting on the action whether its shooting dance, performance, sports, or birds in flight.

Thanks…just a note….with that setting of release you get a blackout on first shot so no one is surprised 😊 also it’s menu setting 15/67 on version 2.x firmware. I am wondering how much the release change means with pre-capture on?

Hey Patrick, any clue how to get rid of the "Processing" screen while taking long exposures in single shot? Interval shooting is set to single shot and instead of taking continuous photos of lightning, it takes a photo then processes for 5 seconds, then takes another photo.

you can just turn off your back screen. Is the light it emits affecting your exposures?

Your tips are great and thanks for those, but you lose credibility with the “intro” and “outro” pointing at the camera. You are not a young pup or “cool” anymore and those slides just say PMR….big whoopty do. They say nothing. Act more like a respected Sony Artisan. Just some food for thought.
