Ole was brilliant in his first full season, I miss those games. I wish him the very best wherever he is!

Watching this less than a month before the new season starts, I cant help but notice the low levels of gratitude given to my iconic Manchurian super sub now gaffer, Ole gunnar. All 3 r great players but lack of coordination b/w the team is sad
especially since the arrival of ronaldo. it's as if the scheme has changed and the front line has lost its instincts because it's inferior to ronaldo. Rashford, Greenwood, and Martial also drop
but City were WAY ahead of MU in points....I'm a United fan but they were still sloppy af. Ronaldo exposed the low quality squad that was there and still managed to produce 18 goals.

A false dawn. Ole's Utd set the standard for a lot of the rot that seeped into that team. Aided and abetted by the terrible board. That and its apologists. That was the cancer that seeped into the foundations of the club.
Today, something close to open heart surgery is being done to rectify much of what has held the club back.
If we hadn't have the worst management, worst board, worst owners, Ole would win trophies at United. Despite all these issues, what he did, could not be achieved by some famous managers that came before or after him. I wish Ten Hag to have even a better run compared to Ole.

Here is for you who constantly blamed Ole and did not support him in season 2021/2022.
Ole shone very brightly when his tactic was all about counter attack. Combined with high pressing, this tactic was likely to be lethal (see the sample at 9:51).
But, Ole's fault in season 21/22 was forcing the team to play a tactic of ball possesion which is not his style. Of course he needed more time to adapt with and revise his ball possession tactic. And you guys started blaming him for his poor tactic. Cmon, if he came back to counter attack tactic it would be tremendeous. And with high pressing, which Ole still did not consistently apply it, United could have been a scary team. But u know this tactic (high pressing and counter) is all that EtH has as shown in the pre-season matches. And you guys start cheering for EtH. LOL I don't know what you guys really want actually. 😂
Let's see if EtH can be a nemesis for Guardiola just like what Ole did all that time.

Btw now United becomes stable when playing counter attacking strategy with high pressing. It is so scary to see the team played ball possession, as we have seen De Gea gave wrong short pass to Eriksen in the game against Brentford.
Against Liverpool, United played better and more stable with counter attack as implied from their low statistical percentage of ball possession.
This current team is more like Real Madrid than Barcelona. For those who hope this team plays an attractive ball possession like Man City, I will maybe recommend them to stop watching united and start supporting City or Barcelona instead. For their own goodness, because it will take lots of time to change the team with players suitable to the ball possession. *peace
He was just unpredictable. He always changed the tactics according to the matches. Even the easy ones. You do this in a night in Paris and win it, people will surely love you. But if you do this every other weekend against weaker teams people won't like you. Simple as that

Only last 3 league games since end of January. Ole has his flaws and can improve in terms of team selection and in game management however he just never gets the praise he deserves. Never seen a manager who cant lose a game or get something wrong without people calling for his head.
