Thank you so much, from Argentina. I was able to jumpstart my Toshiba C-50 battery pack. This laptop has a loose lid and probably it awake from standby mode while stored on my backpack until depleted fully, regardless of hibernation or whatever settings I had.
A tutorial was published in my blog I shared this video. The PA5024u battery I'm talking about seems to need a minimum voltage for the controller chip in order to do anything, if depleted, that circuit will prevent the battery to be charged by the charging circuit on the mainboard. So this battery is able to be jumpstarted, because I check another laptop battery from other brand that does not show any voltage in the terminals even if fully charged
The battery usually contains 6 cells. If one cell is not working, the whole battery will not work. If you can carefully open the battery and replace the bad cell, the battery will work.
@@DixyPro1 the original battery got damaged because I attempted to charge it making perforations through the plastic case and shorted circuit one of its cells and it made a small fire until the short circuit ended.
Then i bought a replacement alternative battery and it drained fully until it wouldn't work anymore (it said fully charged but was empty)
Finally I tried onr more time a tutorial and found this, applied 12v to the + - terminals and the whole pack had charge again. Then I put it in the laptop and the battery circuit was reset when thr orange led began to blink, there i connected the charger and it began to work normally! Thanks Gd! My laptop is my DJ rig. Thank you bro!
if it shows 0.0 volts it doesn't mean the battery is empty, if it truely was that battery would be ruined. that's the battery management system shutting off discharge to protect the battery until it is charged again. if it dropped to a true 0 volt it would be dead permanently

The first and last points are the negative and positive points, and they are defined using an amphometer. When reading the battery level, the polarities may be reversed because the reading will not change either to the negative or to the positive. A protection circuit was installed after filming
That input goes through the battery-control-module before reaching the cells????

Saat mengukur baterai dengan ohmmeter, sisi negatif dari positif tidak terlalu penting, karena hasilnya sama, dan tanda negatif (-) muncul di layar multimeter jika sisinya berbeda. Sedangkan untuk pengiriman. Artinya, pengisian baterai, tidak diperbolehkan untuk membalikkan terminal, terminal positif harus dengan positif dan negatif dengan negatif.

I don’t know why they don’t make a adapter already to do such thing…. You have to know your voltage and wats to do your way.

The wires in the middle supply the data, and the wires at the ends supply the power. Try all the wires using a 12 volt DC motor or a 12 volt bulb
Modern day technology on modern OEM batteries does not allow you to do this !! Its not as simple as you make it out to be.

It's confusing bro...that meter didn't read negative although the leads were reversed...
If you reverse the polarity when reading the battery, the reading will be negative
I have two batteries at 0V and it's not showing polarity. I guess BMS shut off the circuit.
There are no reading because because the pms is locked. If you open up the battery and put the terminals directly, it will give a reading

usually The battery is charged with a 12-volt charger, and when charging is complete, the charging process stops automatically through an automatic disconnection circuit inside the battery (Bms circuit ).

When I checked my laptop battery connector with adaptor plugged. It shows on 0.30 voltage. So my laptop shows only message 0% plugged in charging but actually battery doesn't get charged

7. When I remove adaptor. It works on battery power but doesn't charge battery.
8. As battery connector of laptop only shows 0.30 voltage. The laptop is unable to charge the battery.

I need to make something like this. Have a Dell Laptop that had issues. Would not boot OS. Was booting WinRE just fine. Battery would not charge in WinRE or when off. Now have 2 problems.

Hey, you . First, with regard to the charger jack, the outer part is negative and the inner part is positive. Secondly, place the avometer in the battery terminals. If the number is without a negative sign (-), this means that the connection is completely correct and that the positive terminal on the avo is the same as the positive terminal in the battery. However, if a (-) sign appears, then reverse the terminals. Thirdly, if you do not have an avo, connect it to the charger using a 12-volt motor (the inner terminal is the positive one) and observe the direction of rotation of the motor. For example, the motor turns to the right. Connect the motor to the battery. If the rotation is to the left, reverse the motor terminals until it rotates to the right. Thus, you will know the positive and negative terminals of the battery.
@@DixyPro1 you say with regard to the port outer part is negative so if charger is on right side of the battery then negative one will be on the right corner(if i dont rotate the battery in any way after removing ) if i am right then just give heart no need to bother for a reply. Thanks btw

This metal can be obtained easily, for example in tuna cans. Inside the battery there is a BMS circuit that is responsible for charging the battery, protecting it, and disconnecting the electrical current automatically.
