There was a picture floating around with Tarzan being shown as a trophy thingy, so that "unknown jungle area" may very well be Deep Jungle making a grand return after 21 years!

Well this is a cell phone game so does that really even count as him being back… also I doubt it because there was a reason Tarzan was only in kh1. Odd to think they worked it out all these years later and for a mobile game. I think the story if Tarzan was owned by someone else not just Disney or something I forgot but Tarzan was a no no after kh1
@@jaioncebollero1168 But Disney got the rights to use Tarzan again when they did Tarzan 2, what confuses me is that they got the rights back but Deep Jungle didn't return in Days or Re:coded.
@@jaioncebollero1168All KH games are canon so it would indeed be a return. That's like saying none of the Nintendo games matter because KH was always a PS exclusive 😂
Giving the Behemoth other areas to attack, if I understood that correctly, is something I have wanted for a very long time.
Honestly pretty hype for it. I have a feeling in January they are going to release it.
that would be amazing if they release it in January but its unlikely as I think another beta is going on in January. We can only hope though!
I think we're looking at march/April 2024 for release, since the android beta will take place in January and even though it already looks pretty solid, they'll want to take some time to polish it up as much as they can before release
@ultimatemanu1087 It would make more sense for them to release it as spring approaches in the northern hemisphere since that's where a majority of their playerbase is and it's a time where most are itching to get outside after winter

Were in the Beta (CBT) phase which means it could be very close to release, usually it went from Alpha - Beta. So it could be close i'm hoping for it
That auto free mode is great for me. Means i can get stronger while trucking. Just get her going put the phone out of my way and when im safely parked i can check progress and head back to my home terminal and go home.
I wonder what kind of heartless we'll get here in NYC. I can see Bandits, Hot Rods maybe some new rat heartless.
In the teaser for missing link, we can see the player fighting a darkside with the starlight keyblade, so I’m assuming we can get that keyblade too and much more
Granted the maxed out Starlight has...seen better days, for sure.
We might be "Re-maxing" it out, IE removing the rust on it.

Facts
It’s going to be a serialized story that will take place over the course of years. You can absolutely expect them to drag their feet with filler content and time big story beats with the release of KH4, etc. They want to keep this game going for as long as it is profitable.

I feel like Missing-Link is taking some inspiration from Genshin. Either way it's going into a good direction which makes me curious to see what they have plans for KH4 when it comes to exploration, world residents, interactions, etc...

The forest zone seen in the video is the second part of one of the beta quests, it’s kind of kill x amount of mobs, walk to the next zone and repeat

This game is already showing features just in the beta, that I've been begging for pokémon GO to implement, and pokémon Go has been out for about 7 years and raked in a few billion dollars in profits. I feel like a clown getting my hopes up about Missing Link NOT having a "pay to win" gimmick though I guess you had a point about mobile game tropes being unavoidable. At the LEAST I hope its still playable if you choose not to spend money because Union Cross was getting a little ridiculous with their banners and enemy hp bars after a while and the missions were impossible to beat unless you paid money to get the best medals and max them and your keyblades out. Here's to hoping Missing Link doesn't fall down that exact same rabbit hole.
Theres isnt even any pvp at all in the game, it seems more like Genshin. You can whale if you want but theres no pvp so theres no point.
ff7 ever crisis is generous with their gacha. Got some pretty cool outfits just by playing and haven't spent a dime on it. I think they learned their lesson.
Fam you were just unlucky or bad at it, I never spent real money on Union Cross and I could beat the story myself. I was just resourceful and strategic. And maybe really lucky
@@dracodragniel8648what do you mean? There is combat versus other player's characters. What I don't know if it is AI based or real time combat
@@phonesjuda7318 Thats still not pvp, theres no climbing a rank or anything, at most there probably going to be leaderboards that wont really matter much. Also the only real time is multiplayer during the raids.
Seems like they've put a lot of consideration into the strengths and weaknesses of GPS games. Hopefully I can use the auto mode to gain AP and then use that AP to play at home.

I look forward to more lore finally. I'll try this out when it's available. I got sucked into the gacha of union cross those years ago but I've learned my lesson from that. I don't mind spending for my own enjoyment, but I won't go for p2w and just be a free player if it's anything like union cross.

I am SO excited for this!! I'm hoping for a spring release - summer at the latest. I know they need to restrict the game during high speeds but, at least don't pull a Niantic and have the option of saying your a passenger but still have things be restricted. It's stupid. So, it makes me wonder if the hands-free mode is going to take any of that into accountability or .. if it just won't do anything?

The coloured hp bars concern me, my partner is colourblind and when playing KH1 I had to help her to know how much health anything had

I’m really enjoying the game so far, my only issue is it feels so hard to level up attack, like everything just feels so strong but all my pieces are quite strong so I’m just always using them as my level 30 keyblade is useless on the high level challenges and fights

I'm sure people don't want to hear this but I imagine that the players that will struggle the most with being able to free to play are those who are the Ieast willing to play it as an AR game.

I'm actually curious how many people will pick Donald or Goofy at the start. I've always preferred high risk/High reward physical attack, so I'll be picking Mickey. But I'm always curious how many people prefer magic or high defense.
KH 1 and 3 fans go for Donald since magic is over powered in those games.

I still think they should have went with a ps2 artstyle and not the kh3 artstyle. I'd they went with the classic artstyle they could have more detail in the levels because the details would be more simple. Other than that it does look better than expected. I do a hour of cardio a night so I'll be fine.

The game looks great (for a mobile title of course) and the gameplay seems to be much more interesting than union x, but all the gacha- and micro transaction-bullish!t is already annoying me so so much without having even played it... Guess I'll try it out (if my phone can even run it) and see if you can progress through the main story without too many mobile-typical speedbumps along the way, otherwise it's back to watching cutscenes on youtube
