This is my favorite from the album, and I really believe one of the best tracks of all DH time. With every new album they release I continue to be proud to call them my favorite band. They never fail to deliver. I get such chills listening to this. The vocals and melody are flawless, incredible. And the lyrics are right on too.

Hey brother, I respect your opinion, but I'm here to share something important with you. I was an atheist as well, and became a Christian not because I wanted to, but because God chose me. one day I was invited to a church in another city that I had never visited and I was with other young people and everyone around me was praying and singing praises to God and I was standing there doing nothing and wondering "what am I even doing here? no I don't belong in this place, and without that, how can I even be sure that God exists?" and while they were all rejoicing and singing, I did not know what to do and jus sat there, but suddenly I had a vision. Sounds abnormal, doesn't it? I wasn't drugged, I guarantee you, only on coffee. I had a vision and in it I saw the interior of a pharmacy in extreme detail just like I was there, I thought it was just my imagination, I had never been inside before, it was right across from the hotel I was staying at and I could see there were two women in that pharmacy, I could see their images in detail, one had black hair , the other with red and then I heard a clear voice saying to me "Go to these two women and tell them I love them". And I naturally thought it was my imagination and I wouldn't go to that pharmacy. However, a friend of mine made me go buy her some painkillers because she had a stomach ache and guess which pharmacy I walked into? That's right, inside it was exactly the same as in my vision. I had never been in there. And you know what? I saw the two women from my vision. I went all pale, realizing that I had indeed heard the voice of the Lord, I was about to faint, for in all my conscious life I had not known that God existed until He had proved it to me. I had no way of knowing what these women or the pharmacy looked like. From this day forward, I do not question the existence of God, because that, my friend, has no scientific explanation. And I'm not here to bother you, but God sends me to tell you - Jesus loves you. Jesus died for you too. And now he calls you, turn to Him and repent, He is waiting for you. Be blessed!
As far as I can understand of the lyrics, it's basically them asking atheists/non-Christians what death means to them. Basically, their story "ends in the heart of a graveyard" while those who believe will have everlasting life. Disclaimer: I'm not really Christian, myself, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a good, meaningful message in an amazingly composed song.
'I can't wrap my head around the idea of eternal nothingness after death. To me it seems like a much harder pill to swallow than a continued existence. Not to mention, a Hell of a lot less to look forward to. For every bit of joy that life has to offer, there seems to be a substantial amount of hardship and strain. Without the hope of some divine resolution, the journey seems gainless. Some will see it as a delusional faith, but who wants to die with a half-empty glass?' - Ryan Clark I wholeheartedly disagree with Ryan, I would rather have there be nothing than an eternity of anything, no matter how blissful it might be , the finitude is what gives life meaning. An eternity is always, inherently, one of torture.

Kristijan Mandusic You nailed it though, those are the two songs that seem to have impacted me the most, just incredible. Not that there aren't others that are good, The Last One Alive, etc., but sometimes you hear a song and it seems to speak so loudly, so deeply to you soul. These guys keep getting better.

As someone who struggles with faith and loves the crap out of Demon Hunter, this song really strikes a chord with me. So often I confront myself with the question of when my existence will end, and if there is a Heaven, will I be worthy to join Him there. I've far from led the life of a God fearing man, but try to be a good person nonetheless, and I do pray at times, just to see if I hear an answer in rough times. But like in most areas in life, it's easy to see the negative and doubts, and I fear that, even if I do cease to exist completely after I die, either way my life may have not been lived to its full potential.

I have always loved these guys since they first started, and everyone has been saying they don't like the new stuff, they liked the old style music. But quite honestly I think it is 10x better! I mean, if they want to change their style of music go ahead, as long as it honors god, sounds good, keeps them together, and brings out the name Demon Hunter then #whocareswhatothersthink Love you guys in Demon Hunter! I am with you man! Demon Hunter stands out from all of the other bands! They are pretty much saying "hey we're christen and look what we can do than just worship music." Demon Hunter is the absolute best!
I bought this album hoping that I would enjoy it, I didn't like Demon Hunter before but the songs they released up to it's release had me intrigued... and I love it. However one down side is if I listen to this while laying on a couch or in an airplane... I fall asleep... I don't know why it just puts me out...
When I lay my beloved dad to rest in April on terminal leave from the Navy, once I return home to reclaim his ashes, (1956-2019), I'll play this song in his honor because I know he was a believer and a born again Child of God. In only 2 months, my family has lost grandma, which was dad's mom, and then tragically, we lost him as well....the grief we have suffered is overwhelming, but our family is strong, and our faith is stronger

Truly, this song gives me peace for I know my God and He knows me. However... I pray this song deeply troubles those who do not and inclines them to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved.
Absolutely love this song and many others, amazing voice and lyrics. First song I found was I am a Stone, played it for my daughter and she loved it weeks later played Dead Flowers and she knew the voice, she said "it's the I am a stone guy!" She was maybe 10, she's always known Green Day cuz she knows voices right away, she knows a band and can tell immediately from the singers voice

I have always loved these guys since they first started, and everyone has been saying they don't like the new stuff, they liked the old style music. But quite honestly I think it is 10x better! I mean, if they want to change their style of music go ahead, as long as it honors god, sounds good, keeps them together, and brings out the name Demon Hunter then #whocareswhatothersthink Love you guys in Demon Hunter! I bought this album hoping that I would enjoy it, I didn't like Demon Hunter before but the songs they released up to it's release had me intrigued... and I love it. However one down side is if I listen to this while laying on a couch or in an airplane... I fall asleep... I don't know why it just puts me out...

Absolutely love this song and many others, amazing voice and lyrics. First song I found was I am a Stone, played it for my daughter and she loved it weeks later played Dead Flowers and she knew the voice, she said "it's the I am a stone guy!" She was maybe 10, she's always known Green Day cuz she knows voices right away, she knows a band and can tell immediately from the singers voice
