  • We are back with another amazing exercise index video. Today we talk about the GHR. The GHR has to be one of the most underrated hamstring exercises. This is great for athletes to help prevent hamstring tears. You don't want to start with this but it should be in your workout. Watch the video and I go over all of that.

Not enough people know how to train hamstrings properly, or even do it at all. The eccentric motion on these is VERY effective, & agree with your advice on how to sequence this training. 👍

My gym owner got rid of ours. I asked him what happened to it, he didn't know what I was talking about. When I described it, he just said, "Oh, nobody used it". Decent guy, works out, but not an enthusiast. Footprint couldn't have been more than 10 sq ft.

I don’t need or want some goofy “influencer”, I don’t need to be influenced, I’m not a child. Gimme that Mountain Dog all day.

I would say 97% of people do not know how to use this device correctly....and this includes gym employees/trainers....only a few videos out there that show proper technique and this is most definitely the best GHR video

Honestly. Who is the one guy that disliked this video? It is informative and straight to the point. I love these exercise index videos. They always remind me of something I missed or forgot about the exercise.

"We want maximum tension" - yes indeed! Our gym needs a GHR big time. I miss these. Any exercise that's really hard usually really works :)

Awesome information John. I have fallen in love with decline again just by stacking 2-25 lb plates under the feet end of the flat bench. My shoulders are doing great and my pecs love the pump of the decline. All because of one of your videos a couple weeks ago! Keep them coming, I am 45 and am loving hitting the gym all over again! 🇺🇸💪
