It's so dumb and weird that Jag and others haven't figured out that buyers / owners don't want a bunch of "modern" tech gadgets and gismos--that ultimately either fail quickly or feel super dated even quicker--if they ever even work at all. Especially in a convertible. Keep it simple. Keep it analog. That makes it more affordable AND cheaper to own / maintain over time--which would improve resale values and overall / long term owner HAPPINESS... which would improve future sales. But Jag and others repeatedly do the OPPOSITE. Don't make me have navigate through a bunch of stupid screens to simply turn my heated seat on or off. Just give me a button somewhere... click... On... click... off... or maybe a dial... warm, hot, hotter, hottest... like an old Audi. KEEP IT SIMPLE. Jag designs such BEAUTIFUL cars... but they are so SHITTY under the hood and behind the dash that eventually the HATE in the Love/Hate relationship wins the day.
I have a 2007 XKR. I love it.
From 2006 - 2014 the XKR Were Great. I Wish Jaguar Bring Back the 2+2 XKR in 2025.
Odd that the heavier convertible posted the quicker acceleration times!
MOtorweek - the only car show that can make great cars look boring.
This car came out in 2006 for the 2007 Model year.
I'm selling an 07 coupe. 34k miles.
