I've been a fan of Jackie Stewart's since I was a kid in the mid-70s. I'll never forget my dad telling me "that's one fiery little englishman...... and he can drive the absolute piss out of a car". I gave up my life as I knew it to see my mother to the end of dementia, after my Dad's passing. It brings tears to my eyes now to see that fire still there.. and now directed towards something even more special to my heart. Jackie's definitely one of the greatest of all time

Ask Gordon or JJ who drove F1 cars during demonstrations. They both said how impossibly fast and difficult F1 cars are to drive. It’s why Frank Williams said Gordon would have to start racing in F3, then graduate to F2 before attempting F1. It’s a skill set and discipline different than nascar.

It's pretty funny seeing two champion race drivers going around the track in a 4 door family sedan. That's probably about as fast as the King could drive that land barge without it spinning out of control. I hope he got it home in time for Lynda to get groceries and pick up the kids at school.

I read the designer intended racing on the flat with the bank to be used like a runaway ramp for spins to keep drivers from going right into the wall.
Well if that's true, those good ol' boys said, no thank you. We'll get up there and tap that wall on purpose.
