Rough time this week. Final score 17,600. I kept waiting for the Carol category to ask about Carol Lawrence for some reason. These are so fun!
The Cabaret category killed me this week - ended up with $10,200 before final. Wagered it all for final jeopardy though and guessed the answer before you revealed the clue!
I agree about the Disney on Broadway category. Thanks for all the interesting information
Not my best. 14,200. Loving this, as always. ❤
Yea, so much fun!! I started out really good (except I don't know much about Cabaret ) but started missing in the $800 catagories. I redeemed myself knowing final Jeopardy!! Keep these coming!!🤩🥰
These have become my family's favorite Thursday activity! They're getting harder, only won 22,000 this week.
Category suggestions: Finish the Lyric (Sondheim addition) or Famous Replacements - who took over a famous role.
Love these videos!! Thanks for all you do!
I especially like the little
“ drop ins”
You did one in an earlier episode with
Maureen Sullivan from
Hannah and her sisters
It still makes me laugh
Bring it back!!!
These are really great. We're really enjoying them and you do a fantastic job! Shirt is A++++
Only $26000 this week. I didn't know the poem, but Im highly embarrassed I didn't get the Yazbeck. Ugh. Keep these coming, having a lot of fun.
$8200 before Final Jeopardy, including one $1000 answer, and I didn't bet anything for Final. Haha.
I would love to see a Disney on Broadway category!!!
Darts! Had a perfect score going into Final Jeopardy. Bet everything! Had no idea Next to .Normal got a Pulitzer. Oh DEVIL! 😢
LOVED all the categories this week. Final score is: 20,400!
I adore your clue for Groundhog Day! So cute and funny. I've never managed to break past 5000 yet on my score, but I'll keep trying!
Such great fun! Hope your 4th has been great, Marc!
Thanks! You too!
So excited that you mentioned Blood Brothers. My college performed it back in the 2000s and I went to see it, knowing nothing. But it's had a lasting impression on me and I'm waiting for another theatre within driving distance to do it so I can see it again.
That was so much fun, thank you!
I love Broadway Jeopardy sooo much!! I look forward to it. Thanks so much. 😊
I was unaware of Across the Universe, otherwise I got them all. One wrong each game seems to be my streak. I took a class with Carol Hall at HB. Other Carol(e)s to consider: Carol Lawrence (West Side Story, Subways are for Sleeping), Carole Cook (42nd Street), Carol Dennis (Big River, The Good Bye Girl), Carole Demas (Grease), and Carol Bruce (Do I Hear a Waltz?)
Final tally: $8,000! Got all $200 and $400 questions! Didn’t get any of the $1,000 ones though. Added $200 for Final Jeopardy!
Since you mentioned Sesame Street, can you make a category about Broadway stars who were guests on Sesame Street and The Muppet Show? I’d like that a lot as a Muppet fan and as a Broadway fan.
Only got 7,200 this week BUT I got Blood Brothers because I saw it on tour in the UK! I learned about it when I studied abroad there and it’s so good. Still have some of the song on a ‘stage and screen’ playlist on Spotify. Not bad for a Yank.
Before Final Jeopardy, I had $9,200 including two $1,000 questions.
These are so much fun! Thank you! ❤️
I had a feeling that the $1000 British Imports answer would be in there somewhere. (The Art category was pretty tricky this time!)
Haha. Transfers from West end was brilliant. West end goer here. More west end topics please! 😁😁
AHHHHHH YOU DID A BLOOD BROTHER QUESTIIB 😍😍😍😍
Highlight of my Thursday!!!
Love it!!!
Woo hoo! You said we could wager whatever we wanted in the final, so I wagered $2,000,000. Final score $2,008,800. Let me know where to send my bank details for the deposit. (Love these. Such a fun escape from the real world.)
7,000 and got the final right💗
Ended with 12,800!
Yay such a fun group of categories for me!
$24,800… I think this was my best outing yet!
Great Game! Some awesome challenges. Finished with $32,000!
Was thinking about a Tri-Bond category.
3 items all related to one musical. Songs, characters, images, leading actors in revivals… just a thought.❤
Next To Normal is one of my all time favorite musicals!
Loved the Cabaret questions! I only got 4/5 questions right in the Cabaret category
my best result yet $8800, I'm a newbie in musical theatre but the musical in the final jeopardy being one of my favourites and film category helped a lot
Love the two obscure shows you mentioned. Lempicka and Blood Brothers. Saw them both and loved them. Devi stated Lempicka didn’t find its audience. Petula, Dave and Shaun were great.
16400 in the end. $8200 before final. No 1000 levels or anything above 400 in Cabaret. Then all in at Final.
Really let myself down there - I’ve been in a production of Whorehouse but missed that one 😅
I do need to credit Forbidden Broadway with being the reason I know shows like Blood Brothers 😆
🎉🎉🎉
I missed one $600, and 3 $1000 question. After final jeopardy, I ended with $22,800
Not surprised, I didn’t make it to Final Jeopardy; I was already at -7400. I do okay through the 200 and 400 levels, start sliding in the 600s, and forget about the 800 and 1000 levels. Add in a category that know nothing about (Cabaret) and… yeah. -7400. But I enjoy the ones I DO get and sometimes I surprise myself!
The video of Cats, of which you show the cover, is excellent, featuring so many wonderful performers and amazing performances (even if the whole has a few holes). And the sex!!!
4,700 this time. I got one 1,000 clue right!
8000 (wagered and lost 200 on Final)
Ooof. Toughest one for me so far. Finished with only $3K after final
Lost it all! Phooey. (Catagory: David Byrd posters)
Ooh! Good one
@@broadwaybyghostlight my favorite! Check out his new book if you haven't yet...
24,000
Phantom of the opera category
I love your shirt! Please tell me where you got it! Lol.
I got it at Little Shop of Horrors currently off-Broadway! I’m sure they sell them online
❤
$9800 before final jeopardy and bet it all for s grand total of $19,600! How do I claim my rewards??? Lolol ❤❤❤
Davy Jones may have been a good Dodger, idk... but I absolutely loved Jack Wild in the movie version.
I also loved H.R. Pufnstuf when it aired way back when.
The Broadway Cast album was recorded during its pre-Broadway run in L.A. before Davey Jones was cast… 😢 My mother saw it on Broadway and Jones and Georgia Brown (Nancy) were the two stand-outs for her.
$9800 here.
Just missed one in the final round (the art one...)
Hard questions this week only scored 16,200. I was in a community theatre production of the best little whorehouse in Texas when I was 16 years old. The Pulitzer Prize winning musicals is easy cause there are only 8 musicals that have won the Pulitzer Prize.
How about a category on designers?
I got to 4000
Cats is infamous? Who sez? Why? I can see that charge being leveled at that recent film of it, of which I've seen just enough to want to never see the whole, but what's infamous about the original?
Missed 7
All I wanted to do was see the clues and answer. All the background info made me lose interest. I just came for the quiz. Made it through 5.
Ok.
jatte is mispronounced
