    My hair is a constant guessing game, so I appreciate videos like yours that help me understand other people's experiences with the products I'm interested in.

    I love their leave on conditioner. I put it on with dry hair not the recommended damp. I find it works better for me tbh. It leaves my hair soooo soft

    the only hair brand scent i've ever truly been in love with is amika... but i use living proof because it works so damn well and finish with the amika hair perfume

    Thank you for the haircare review I don't have the same kind of hair you have, mine is very thick, coarse and wavy but you address what types of hair it could work for besides your type and I value and trust your reviews and opinions.

    Hi Alice, this video was so very helpful for me!! I always get confused as to which Living Proof product is for what type of hair! You did an excellent job with your descriptions of each. I appreciate your help!

    I'm sure the mousse you used was lovely, but I think you could get similar results from mousse from the drugstore. 😊😊 I can't remember which brand I used, but I used to use mousse all the time, in a similar way to you, and my hair looked great! It was the only thing that kept my hair looking halfway decent in the humidity 😊
    Thanks for the great review! Your review videos are always so well researched and thorough, I've definitely learned a lot from you!

      I'm glad you shared that because in the process of looking up the mousse, I realized it's being discontinued! Thank you!! 💗

    cool, i want to try their dry shampoo and the in shower style cream....maybe the mousse too but their not available in europe afaik.
    but if you want a good hair spray and an amazing texturizer i highly recommend the Ouai wave spray and texturizing hairspray. they are a hair game changer for thin hair.

    Juuuust when I was trying to resist my love for living proof, thanks alice. As I kinda recently said, I have very very long wavy/curly hair. I air dry most of the time and the in shower styler has been a staple of mine since summer 2017 followed by either deva curl coconut cream or wave, and then the verb ghost oil too lol!!!!! It's such a great oil and basically fragrance free which I really appreciate. I love the Moroccan oil but can't handle the scent. Which is another thing I appreciate about living proof. I like the fresh natural scent, I can't handle the perfumed or "warm" scented stuff.

    • @naomilasby7744
      @naomilasby7744 Před 5 lety

      The in shower styler I definitely notice a difference with and consistently repurchase but you are right definitely for air dry and I would say wavy to curly and a learning curve also. BUT, if and then, amazing lol.

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Před 5 lety

      Yeah, it's the "results" factor that sold me on this brand. You really do see a difference when you use these - and not in a way of "forget to use it once and your hair looks like crap" but in a "forget to use and...your hair still looks good?"

    Your hair color is still so stunning, I’m loving the transitions! I really liked this video, I have thin fine hair too (much shorter ha ha) and I haven’t given it the same product and ingredients attention that I do my makeup? I see some hair set purchases in my future...

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Před 5 lety +1

      It's funny you say that - I have complicated feelings with hair too (on a technicality, it's dead??) Alas, we culturally place so much emphasis on hair -- and it's true that what we put on it makes a difference!

    Thank-you for explaining The Living Proof products, have you ever tried the Scalp revitalizing treatment ?

  • @TheRealCarolinaQueen
    @TheRealCarolinaQueen Před 5 lety

    This was actually extremely helpful! I have hair very similar to yours, long- but on the thin side. And if I didn't you helped explain who could use some of the other products, I love the way you do these types of reviews. I've been wanting to see reviews on the Freeman's feel beautiful masks that they have, they have some clay some gel and they have a ton of different ones, rejuvenating, brightening, detoxing like I just get a bit overwhelmed, I think I saw at least eight different ones at my Ulta. Do you know anything about them or which ones you would for who? I'd love to see a video on them but I could totally appreciate how much work goes into it so if not I totally understand but I just thought I would mention it. 💖

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Před 5 lety +1

      So I've seen those masks and I did not purchase them because several have ingredients that I avoid (methylisothiazolinone has been linked with contact dermatitis, for example). BUT some of the masks are formulated quite differently. The charcoal mask has a nice formula and the price is great! I still haven't tried them, but I would definitely read the ingredients thoroughly before buying. Hope that helps!

      @TheRealCarolinaQueen Před 5 lety

      @@AliceintheRabbitHole yes it does! I would assume that they were all made relatively equally, so it does help to know to look into each one as an individual mask and not just the entire line thank you so much

    Welp... I know what I'm treating myself to this payday.😂 sounds great🙌🏼 I have been using the love beauty & planet shampoo, conditioner and hair mask for the last month or so. Ive never been super high maintenance with my hair but I'm starting to think what I do is wrong... 😅😞 I wash my hair every single morning😕 I wake up at 2 am for work and a shower is what I depend on to get me up that early.. maybe I need to invest in a shower cap. 🤔 thanks for sharing ♡ much love to you! Sending hugs your way🤗😘💕

      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Před 5 lety

      Ooph, 2am?! 🤯 I used to wake up at 3:30 for a job, and that was hard enough! But yeah, washing your hair daily can dry it out (although it works for some people). Ulta has some cute $4 shower caps that I've been eyeballing!

  • @4SkippyRoo

    My hair just flat out confuses me. I went from waist-length to shoulder-length and now it behaves totally different 😒

    • @AliceintheRabbitHole
      @AliceintheRabbitHole  Před 5 lety +1

      Is it because of the weight of the hair? When I cut my hair to my shoulders, it was kind of... light? And had a subtle curl, which I was pretty in denial of haha. Hair can act so odd!

    • @4SkippyRoo
      @4SkippyRoo Před 5 lety

      @@AliceintheRabbitHole Exactly that. When it was long I used smoothing products b/c it was just straight with some fluffiness at the end. Now it has half-assed curls, but can look limp if I use frizz fighters. I wish I could find something curl-defining AND volumizing. I dunno! 😩
