Mohit has also bowled less overs than Pathirana and still has 8 wickets more than him, also the 2nd highest wicket taker just one short of the purple cap + the final performance is literally the cherry on top, that final over was outstanding.

@@neeljavia2965 There's no place for anchor anymore in T20Is. Kohli enjoyed that role for the years and scored some runs for himself, but not anymore. Cricket has changed a lot. Kohli scored 600+ runs with 139 SR where almost every match was 200+. It looks good to see the scoreboard where Kohli is getting runs, but opposition tends to win those matches.
We saw 100 against GT in the last match and every one celebrated but that took him 61 balls, and Gill without a sweat scored more runs in almost 10 less balls.

Conway played most in difficult pitch, even stoinis can come in place for Green. But green at no 3 was brilliant than anyone in the tournament.

at that age , he still kept his mind cool , with that weak bowling attack , even batting was not with big stars little older most of them not playing t20 regularly the amouth of confidence that man gaves to dube , deshpande , convay , pathirana and specially ajinkya was amazing , his feild placement and quick decision making was super , and finally that keeping 🔥🔥
2 Rohit :- 8.8/10
does not match his calibers not in batting not even his captaincy , but still better than many took his team to semis with that poor bowling attack , injuries was their , rohit kishan sky was not in form everybody said without archer and bumrah may team will be 7 - 8 - 9 , but again the confidence the freedom this man gaves to his teammates is appreciable, many peoples saying he should stay on pitch should not go fast at starting but he priorities his team above his individual performance so that whole team can play with that template , the way he set that template in team and find fhe guys like kartikeya , wadera , tilak , and most imp piyush and aakash it was really amazing , but still i saw some bugs in his captaincy some wrong decisions of not bowling piyush or kartiya much but its ok may be next year this team will qualify for final .
3 Hardik :- 8.6/10
Ohh man back to back seasons of final , nobody even think that hardik can be like that captain , he was so calm and composed , its too early to compare him with ms and rohit but he is on that way , but we can say kl rahul , sanju , shikhar and markram got best team but they couldn't use the way hardik use his player , again the rise of mshami , mohit sharma , and sudarshan under his captaincy was truly excellent, but with best power play bowler best 2 allrounder in the world he lack that moment but it will be ok as he keep captaining like that by staying cool and learning too .

no doubt this man put his heart out for this , but again team couldn't even qualify , its was poor middle order , declined bowling at the end of tournament and yes little bit captaincy issue with field placement , also no youngsters came from this team vk fab maxi and siraj was proved themselves already this may be fault of team management also but you have to give them confidence and most imp the bad luck of rcb

The good thing is many of the players who're expected to play in the final XI in the WTC Final are in good form. Gill, Kohli, Rahane, Shami, Siraj, Jadeja. Can't really say much about Pujara cuz he doesn't play IPL. The only concerns are Rohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav and KS Bharat. These guys HAVE to perform for us to win, especially Rohit.

Sir, It was a great list!! No one is better than you in analysing the stats and selecting.
But as you said, people might have some difference of opinion and you also said it can't be more than 1 or 2, so I have 2 changes in your list. Please don't mistake me but I think these 2 changes can make the team more stronger.
The first change is I would definitely keep Virat Kohli instead of Yashasvi Jaiswal because firstly he has more runs in this tournament and a better average. He also brings the aggression during the fielding, his agility and strength during fielding is far better than Jaiswal and his experience in this game, gives him more confidence and composure during the match. So that would be my first change. The second change is I will definitely have MS Dhoni instead of Klaasen because firstly he is definitely the better wicket keeper and finisher any team can have. Secondly and most importantly, he's the captain who can handle the situations and take the team forward. There is no proper captain material in the team you have selected according to me. So having Dhoni as a captain to this side would be my obvious choice for that position. So that would be my second change.

I would have taken Faf in place of Yashasvi bcoz the team seems to lack a captain ( though Jaddu and Rashid are there neither of them have fared well as ipl captain )
And Mohit Sharma in place of Pathirana .... Mohit Sharma is a good fielder as well and carries experience and multiple variations in his bowling
Also faf deserves to be in best xi

Absolutely not. No matter the form, it's time to give chances to Rinku, Gill, Jaiswal, Gaikwad etc. Rohit, KL and Kohli must be kept out of the T20 squad if India were to win. This is how India won the 2007 edition,by keeping out the big guns and giving captaincy to a relatively new guy- MSD

Almost same team sir but i will go with maxweel instead of green... and pooran can be so destructive at the end and middle also... I will go with left handers.. and the only reason i went for kohli rather than gill is he is my captian...

This reminds me of the Pak teams of years gone by with incredible individual players but no captain. They were unbeatable on their day but could never align their interests consistently. If you leave Dhoni out, he will beat your best team. He has shown it again this year with a subpar CSK team.
